7 light switches turn on 3 games at a time. All plugs were elevated 3' off the ground to hide power codes behind the games.
I've added 8 lighted & neon signs since these picts.
IMO: The white trim on the door looks out of place. Even a "Hammered" grey or black paint, on the trim would be a cool & easy.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:Nice! A tiki-themed game room is my dream! Someday I'd like to add about 400 sq ft to my house, decorate it like this (see below), and fill it with pins.
NorCalRealtor... YES that is a sweet looking set up! I have a hammer, lets get started!
Quoted from littlecammi:A Tiki-themed game room needs to have a Gilligan's Island pin in the corner.
It needs to have Ginger in the corner
Quoted from toyotaboy:You still have one of the coolest gamerooms. I remember yours way back with the water heater tank painted to look like it's part of the decor.
That's just 1 of John's walls. His game room is 4X's more amazing!
MrBellMan... those games look awesome!
I'm actually very excited to play some late 70's to early/mid 80's games at Pin-a-go-go.
My feelings are... Pinball is like boating (sail boats, jet ski's, speed boats, cabin cruisers etc) it's all great fun, just being on the water, then pulling up to the BBQ & beer garden, at the end of the day!
Quoted from ramegoom:The game room construction has begun. Framing this week, bathroom plumbing roughed in. Now- it gets fun.
WOW... how big is this game room?
I'm really digging the concrete flooring!
Can't wait to see the walls come together. Awesome game room!
Quoted from SealClubber:See the how the soffet puts the trim lights out over the pins? I might as well have one huge spotlight hanging over my playfields.
Are you saying, the lighted toppers are reflecting their lights from soffet, down on to playfields?
I have 21 pins in my game room. I had my electrician wire up 3 games per switch on the wall (7 light switches). I've never had an issues. I've had all 21 games on playing at the same time, again, no issues.
Plus (I coil the extra power cord). It's a real clean look. Here's a couple picts.
Tatman9999... awesome game room!
Question; where did you get the slimer plunger rod on GB? That's cool!
Quoted from tatman9999:pinball customs is his pinside name.
Thank You... I'll reach out to him.
My GB prem hopefully will be shipping this month???
Quoted from blimpey:They are friends. There was drinking involved! I was going to do some more quick shoots with other friends
We all need more friends like yours (Blimpey, not Amendes), just to be clear.
Quoted from jamesmc:I also own the original painting of my avator.
I too love Godard's work... can you show us your avatar painting he did?
Hello Pisiders... I really enjoy my game room. Not only for the pins... but the feeling I get when I'm in it. I wanted to share some picts that I have of the colors / flavors / custom signs (neon & wood) and custom clocks I've made or have had made;
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:Tommy is not a storage table, okay?
Agreed... I actually forgot I placed new pipes (in box) for my Harley there (before picture). The old pipes are rattling inside and I just can't stand the noise.
My Funhouse sign is wood. I have a large (on one side of my garage/game room) and a med sized one on the other side.
Quoted from KingBW:Did you make that? If so, I'll PM you for details to see if it is like what I plan to do or see if you have a better solution.
Blimpy (Swap Box) here on Pinside made it for me. It was actually a little larger than normal size (I understand), as the glass / art was sent to me and signed by Jersey Jack himself (upper left corner).
I did however paint it emerald green, with very fine green glitter, with 3 coats of clear coat. Same for the (3) picture WOZ frames on both sides of it.
Quoted from Yelobird:Love that Funhouse come on in sign!! (along with many others) Any Chance you would ever consider selling one
I had made the (2) FunHouse signs years ago. One for me and the other for my son. However, his garage has much lower ceiling and it didn't fit well. So, I installed both in my game garage / game room. My ceiling is nearly 10', so easy to place them.
Sorry, not for sale.
Thanks for the kind words.
Kerry
Quoted from MrBellMan:Addams Family back in the lineup for the 4th time... LOL!
Mr. BellMan... That looks good indeed!
Hello tatman9999 and bowtech...
Interesting that both you have the same 3-D "Arcade" sign on the wall. That's really nice! Where did you get it?
Thanks
Kerry
Thanks swillie... after I posted that question; I Googled "lighted Arcade sign" and found several sources. They ranged in price from about $48 to $60+.
We do have Hobby Lobby here, about 15 miles from me. I'll check them as well.
Thanks!
Kerry
Quoted from MustangPaul:You haven't seen the one in Cal I take it, can't remember the Pinsiders name though. Wooza!
I'm sure that would have been Blimpey's in Granite Bay, CA
My opinion: Stars are way too loud, and circles are too subtle... however "if" those were the only choices, i'd go with circles.
@imagamejunky... looks great!
IMO: a heavy "Theater type curtain" (2 brackets and rod) would look amazing behind them. It would camouflage the mirror and speaker / power cords, then allow you to focus on the beauty of the games.
BTW: You've get them spaced too far apart... you'll need to fix that
Quoted from Nepi23:How did you manage to get it through the doorway - is it easy to disassemble and be put back together?
I believe it went into his garage part of the "Game House".
jorge5240... I went with these side mount LiftMaster garage door openers. All the large hardware (motor / track / brackets) all gone!
LiftMaster 8500 Elite Series 8500
Quoted from yzfguy:How many people went back to see the buttcrack?! Be honest!
I saw it the first time... no need to go back
Quoted from jorge5240:I am looking for art/mural for inside garage doors. Anyone have any examples or a good place to start looking?
Hey Mike... I thought this post for BBB artwork was really cool. I tried to copy and paste it in here. So not sure if it will show correctly, tho.

I too don't care for the pinstadium lighting. I'm not a fan of seeing all the mini light reflections on playfield parts (especially metal ramp rails) in my games.
I own 2 dozen late model pins from 1988 Taxi to 2021 EHOH & JJP's GNR's.
I get a lot of enjoyment being in my game room/garage working on games, working on my Harley and listing to my music. My pins are also like art in a gallery. Beautiful to look at as well. I get enjoyment from them in different ways. I do play them personally maybe on average 3-5 games a night. I do have many friends, guests and once a month pin gigs here... but I too only get minimal plays on them.
Just my .02
Kerry
Quoted from punkin:Can't imagine anyone spending quarter of a million dollars just so they can say they own pinball machines
That's close... but I bought most of my DMD pins in the 90's at $800 to about $1200 each, and glad I did
This includes: FH / TZ / TAF / CFTBL / WH20 / Corvette / ToM / HSII / ST-TNG / WCS / PZ / CV / IJ / Tommy / GNR's DE
and many system 11's from $300 to $750 like: Bad Cats / Earthshaker / DD / Mousin Around / Taxi / GS / Diner / WW
allsportdvd... Awesome game room!!!
Curious; what are all those boxes and stuff stacked up under your pins?
