    Quoted from brad808:

As always it's a work in progress but this is where my room is at now:

There is a joining room with a small bar, dart board, touch screen jukebox, etc too. Overall I'm pretty happy with what I have but I'm sure I'll keep changing it up over time. I want to adjust the layout a bit but I haven't come up with anything better yet.

What did you use for the brick wall?

Probably the best light and sound show pre DMD or ever!
That one actually looks like my old one which I sold because I am not big on spec themes.

Ah...Pinbot has it beat I think...

    Quoted from KingBW:

Has anyone received an email from their power company telling them that they used an excessive amount of power last week? I did. With these smart meters they found what had raised the power load for the neighborhood for a Saturday. I had a Thanksgiving party with 9 pins, 2 subwoofers, 1 jukebox amp, 10 neons, TV with surround sound, and the normal other lights on, and some other stuff. The following Wednesday I got an advisory that the unusual power usage would increase my power bill by about $50 for the month and gave me tips to reduce my power consumption. I couldn't believe that they are watching that closely.

Tell them you drive an electric car and go screw themselves...

Looks great!! I know I would kill to have a wall with old bricks like that in my gameroom. People pay crazy money for old brick facades. And you covered almost all of it up.

    Agreed. Me to.

    Quoted from Pinzap:

Let’s get this thread back on track... sorry for the temporary derail.
Looking forward to staying warm in my gameroom this winter.

I have never seen a stand up Daytona USA, let alone a linked setup. Was that a common thing in your area? Are these custom? Awesome space btw!

I will buy more If I find them. I know I can link at least 2 more. Saw a couple in a warehouse few hours away from me that need work. I usually get them for about $300 to $350 and clean them up. Very fun. Less maintenance than the big sitdowns..

    Quoted from Kerry_Richard:

I too don't care for the pinstadium lighting. I'm not a fan of seeing all the mini light reflections on playfield parts (especially metal ramp rails) in my games.

The neo version don't do that. They have a cover and diffuse the light. I love pinstadiums because they are programed so if there are parts of play where the playfield lights go off so do the pinstadiums.

It’s not an elaborate set up. Really just the pins. I did a quick shoot around the other night as it’s changed a bit since my last post.

Almost perfect, but you need a colored DMD for Scared Stiff.

    Quoted from addams40:

Don't know if you consider a gameroom. It's a living room and only 3 pins. Addams Family Gold #40 autographed by the master Lawlor 4x. A Pirates of the Caribbean LE JJP #95. And my newest edition Godzilla Premium. Play them between watching TV. Lol

    Quoted from Pinkitten:

Lol. I’m too embarrassed to say. My dad was…careful with money. Ok, he was cheap, he loved saving every penny. So I didn’t get the Mongoose I wanted. It was a Team Murray. But it was reliable and I rode that thing for years, until I got into mini bikes and go carts.

I was going to post I was team Murray also but I wasn't sure if people would remember that brand..lol

    #20384 1 year ago
    Quoted from Pinkitten:

Question for you electrical experts out there…is 110 adequate for a 12k btu mini split, or is 220 a must? I’ll need a 220 outlet installed if 220 is the only way to go. The cost between a 110 and 220 unit is about the same. I’m guessing 220 is more efficient and cheaper to run?

I would roll the 220. It's much more efficient.

First time I'm seeing them all light up so beautifully. Some still require a few tweaks but just staring at them all lit up for ten minutes straight is my kind of meditation.

    Quoted from PinballGalore:

Moved countries and the grand display in my old warehouse has to be put away for a while.
Got a small shed constructed, as big as the space between bushes and trees allowed in this rented houses’ garden we have. Not sure how many games I’ll be able to open.
Maybe 2 at a time. Whenever it’s time to buy, the final man cave will be planned accordingly to fit everything that’s now wrapped up or in boxes.
Whatever can be displayed or hung - will be. It’s actually a cosy, fun and different atmosphere. Hope to have them all in there by the weekend.

Looking for some inexpensive wall decorating advice/ideas. I finally got all of my wpc pins in one room, but as you can see, they're pretty much all that are in there (the bush light welcome hunters sign is coming down too). My "sports bar" area is just adjacent to this room and I have a bunch of autographed jerseys and pics on those walls so I'd like something different in the pinball room...but I'm no designer so I'd love some ideas that don't cost the price of another pin, or I'd rather just buy one more
    Thanks!!!
