I almost bought a house that had two sump pumps in a finished basement. Good thing I listened to my gut feeling. When I thought myself, there is a reason there is two sump pumps!!!!!

    #11343 1 year ago

I was the thinking the more sump pumps the more water accumulates in your basement. I have one sump pump in my house now and it hardly runs but i live on a hill and i have dug out and installed drainage tile to help. And yes keeping your gutters clean is a must!

That's where we want to live eventually. We love summit county!!!!

    #12323 10 months ago

Showed the wife the stars and she is on board as well. Asked if we could do the whole floor. I said no ( I know, I know), But the cost is out the door for me. Plus I only have a small space for the arcade 3 pins and a cocktail. I might possibly be able to squeeze a upright arcade in there.

Wondering what you will do for insulation between the block wall and drywall as I am sure it get's very cold up there in southern Canada!

    #12571 9 months ago

I agree. You should deff put something there for moisture purpose. You will build up moisture between the wall and the drywall which can cause mold and soften drywall over time.
