I've always enjoyed the time crisis shooters. They come in various sizes, but are larger than most because they are effectively two separate units. The Alien and Terminator shooters probably take up a little bit less space since it uses just a single screen.
The Star Wars Trilogy is another fun one. That one also comes in a few different sizes.
