Small but cozy. Only have room for three pins in the main room and have three in my kids playroom across the hall for the moment. Plans are in the works to convert the playroom into the theater room and dedicating all of the main room to pinball

Really nice. How do you have those classic consoles connected?

    Quoted from xsvtoys:

I don’t think there are too many of those around. There is a working one at PHOF in Las Vegas, we ran it through its paces on a visit there last year. I already forgot what it made, I think maybe a dinosaur.

The Milwaukee Zoo in WI has at least a dozen of them still churning out overpriced plastic animals. Still really cool though!

    Quoted from twoplays25c:

Has anyone here done an HO scale "railroad" running near the ceiling, that encircles your room? I would think several people have done so.

Here is what I did years ago at our first house. I wish I would have taken more photos but here is a video of one lap around. If I remember correctly it was 6" wide on the straights and that gave me enough room for a main line and sidings. I welded the bridge up out of scrap at work. I'm glad you brought this up as I have been thinking of doing it again as well.

there may be others that might not like that either, so I'll go ahead and take that picture off.

I'm offended you took the picture down JK Great gameroom!

Just did a home arcade walkthrough with my buddy Erik who owns District 82 Pinball up here in Green Bay. There is another video that goes with this one where we walkthrough his home pinball shop and parts collection. I think you guys will like it

Its been a busy 6 months! What used to be our bar/movie room and a kids playroom has been converted to a barcade and a movie room. Its nice to finally have all the pins in one space. Still have to build the pedestal for the arcade and finish filling some empty space on walls but its finally 100% functional

    Quoted from Paseb:

where did you get that pacman arcade sign, william sign and all the signs over the pinball with lighting?

The PacMan sign is from https://www.hobbylobby.com/Home-Decor-Frames/Mirrors-Wall-Decor/Word-Wall-Art/Arcade-Pac-Man-Metal-Sign/p/80828293 The Williams sign I had my neighbor cut on his water jet at work and wired LEDs on the back.
The signs above the machines are just old arcade marquees. I bent a J-channel at work and ran LED strips across the bottom.

    Quoted from pacman11:

How are you lighting them and what are you hanging them with?

Thanks! I bent 16 gauge J-channels at work. The marquees just lean against the wall and leave enough room for the LED strip to fit behind them. Here are the lights I used

    Quoted from jawjaw:

    Yeah, what is that?

Its an old Zenith TV I pulled out of my great aunts basement. I gutted it and put a PC and monitor in it. I have hours of 80's and 90's cartoons and toy commercials it cycles through. Every time I look over I see a different memory from my childhood Gotta get the knobs mounted on the front yet.

anyone ordered from this website? id like to reproduce fabsj82 wall trans-lite

    any better options?

Check with a local sign shop. My multicade, Tapper and Burger Time marquess are printed on white vinyl and applied to plexiglass. I supplied the plexi and it was $20 each for Burger Time and Tapper and $60 for the big multicade

Changed and added some stuff to the game room over the last 5 months. Not much more wall space to fill.

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

with the godzilla poster, does that mean godzilla is a contender for showing up in the room?

I wish! Unfortunately I would have to sell two or three to make that happen

    Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

Those metal signs are out of control! Did you have those made or are they available at a vendor?

Thanks! My neighbor cuts them at work. I supply the scrap stainless and he makes us signs. Win Win.

    Quoted from briyau15:

Are recess lights a bad idea due to potential glare?

Gotta have work mode and play mode lighting. Use ambient light all around the room for play time. TV's, neon/LED signs, popcorn machine, lava lamps and the pins themselves do a great job. But overhead lighting is a must when working on games.

debating mounting an entire extra row of marquees over my light strips.

Looks good but you have to light those lowers too Check out posts number 17679 and 18736 in this thread to see how I did mine.

What started as a single request for a friends game room became an unexpected hot seller last week. I had printed a half dozen extras and thrown them up on Etsy to just see if they would sell. A couple days later Stern posted a picture of someones flipper flusher and that sold them out over night. Then I posted two dozen on Pinball Enthusiasts Facebook page and those sold out in two hours. Having the long holiday weekend off I figured I keep the train rolling and print up 30 more. If anyone is interested you can pick one up here.

    Quoted from Pinkitten:

I bought one of these from a Pinsider for our basement game room half bath. Works great! I should post it in the Junkyard, Austin Powers or South Park threads.

    Quoted from Kolk1:

A lot of us did. He kept having issues with keeping up with supply.

Hey that's me! https://silverballshop.etsy.com/listing/1578314786/pinball-flipper-toilet-flusher-90-mount Thanks to everyone who has purchased one! What started as a one time request from a friend and has now turned into over 100 sold. Its fun finding posts like these that end up explaining the random spikes in sales every couple weeks.
