Quoted from gorditas:I finished my basement over the winter. The gameroom/bar turned out great. Of course now I wish I had made more room for pins. "Two is plenty, right?" I've already made one swap.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I like cards, poker etc, but you could move that table into the kitchen (upstairs) and fit (what looks like) 3 or 4 more games there.
You did a great job with the bar.
Quoted from yzfguy:Just got this work of art [quoted image]
I've seen a sign like that that says "Sorry, we're drunk". Honestly I think yours is a more classy/ presentable version.
Quoted from Dan1733:There is still some candy in the machine if you need energy to move the games around.
I’d be going after the beer first
Quoted from mbrave77:Already been discussed with the wifey(she hates my pinball obsession and doesnt like pool either).
I think we can determine what REALLY needs to go.
Naw, but I was able to take my pool table apart and sandwich it between 3 pins and the wall. Used some foam packing to make sure the wall stays safe.
Quoted from Motorcitypinball:I almost forgot these custom flipper Bar door/Drawer handles/knobs
[quoted image]
This would be a lot of work and a little pain, but it would be fun if those actually flipped and have them wired up to some push buttons on the counter. You wouldn't even need full strength flipper coils either.
I also gave up on trying to take pics and was playing around with the 4K settings on my phone and made this:
Quoted from Boof-Ed:Well that’s it. I’m at capacity now! Not sure what I’ll do when GnR finally gets here.
I’ve been forced to put a few games into storage position. It’s a little heartbreaking but at least I am not forced to sell them.
Quoted from TimBoch:I like chronological order.[quoted image]
I hope you don’t mind I photoshopped some people into your game room pic.

Haha no I was standing back there and remembered Tim took a picture of his lineup in this thread recently. I didn’t have time to look it up but was trying to stand in the same spot he took the picture when nobody was playing them.
Quoted from TimBoch:Even better that there were real people playing them. 155 games were played on the pins on Saturday. Thanks Eric.
You got lucky your STTNG didn’t get clobbered by JR he put up his best game the following Monday on a different machine.
Quoted from coasterguy:Finished up my Mini-Arcade this week after adding lots of LEDS to things. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Nice coolers! Once for the CPU and one for the case I assume?
Quoted from sunnRAT:I feel like Future Spa is happy to have it there.
I always felt that game belonged in corners of a room.
Quoted from uphamj:Is that because you have firepower shoved under flash ha ha
Nope originally had everything up against the right wall. Behind Firepower is Nugent which were both stored coin door up on the left wall.
Quoted from kyle5574:I love the casual worksite in that picture. Hot soldering iron hanging from the shooter, solder on the ottoman, cold beverage in the PinGulp…but what’s the hammer for?
hammer was for getting the door off the hinges with a punch (not seen) in order to get that JP inside the room without having to take the head off.
You should have been there minutes before. While the iron is cooling off on the shooter rod, earlier it was plugged in and hanging off the door knob of the door while the door was leaning up against the wall.
Quoted from kyle5574:Been thinking about this. How do you get the pin out from under the pins? Is it a one-person job?
They are pretty light so it could be done alone. They were slid under before 8 ball and stellar wars went into position. They’d need to be pulled back out again to recover the games.
Quoted from RTS:Pin removal practice device
[quoted image]
Practice time is over for me….
4E80CCC4-8B8D-46A0-BE17-8B2C0755AB68 (resized).jpegQuoted from dirkdiggler:I'd like to be part of that get together
Should have about 50 games up and running hopefully. If you find yourself in the area then or any time you know how to get ahold of me.
Quoted from bob_e:Get your Fire Queen / Vulcan assembled soon
I just took it apart to make room. Tough choices to make. Actually one of my favorite EMs around here. Good news is it’s all shopped and doesn’t need anything. Will have about 10 more EMs to play upstairs.
Quoted from pinballslave:What's the game at the far end?
You don’t see many of these around. WMS Contact. He actually tried selling it a few years ago for $800 and had no interest. It’s a keeper now. I like it. It’s like the love child of Space Mission and WMS World Cup.
Still can't fit everything in a few pics. I was wanting to make a video before people started showing up.
Quoted from CoachBacca:any chance we could get a longer slower video so we can really see/ooh an aah the collection?
Here you go! I have slow internet so I try to keep them short.
Quoted from CoachBacca:no games listed in your collection so if you wanna keep it private I understand that too.
Not even set to private, they aren't even there. I lost track awhile ago (I even left out bank-a-ball by accident) so I just went through and deleted them. Plus it helps keep my inbox clean from offers and trades. My offer always stands to anyone coming through town, always welcome to stop by and play. Had about 25 people come through yesterday. Some people stop in for a couple hours, others stay all day.
Here are some still pics DavidLee took. Great pics lots of talent with the camera angles etc

Quoted from Doctor6:Well Jesus Christ! Some rich mofos in here.
Maybe…maybe not. You can do quite a bit of work yourself and save a lot of money and take your time with procurement.
Also depends what you like to spend your money on. I don’t travel, don’t have a boat or cabin etc don’t spend much on entertainment. I spend my money on pinballs and even more on pinball parts/ reproduction parts.
Starting to get things organized. Finally getting a dedicated wedgehead room together. Tonight trying to clean up the basement thinking about a December party. Locals PM me if interested.

No just moving games around.
That light came with the house and I don’t even use it. Been here 6 years and maybe turned it on 3 times.
It looks like a disco ball but it’s squiggly plastic with a small bulb in the middle
Quoted from zebpin61:Game rooms are where ever we have our games
No matter what position they are stored in.
Oh and it’s Glenlivet 12
94FB3FA0-167A-4113-B723-C2D2BE3FE0C0 (resized).jpegQuoted from zebpin61:Will you be able to have your collection all on display? Hope so!
That’s the intent. Pinball is meant to be played.
Quoted from superNoid:Your room looks fantastic, I like the more modern look with pins in it. Actually I REALLY like the cave look as well that many people have but for me I can't ever do that. My room for pins is basically a bonus room with seating, TV and a dining table all with modern furniture so I need to place pins in that decor. Its nice to see other people with similar design as well.
Do you have any night shots in this room and how the pins look in the dark?
Not completely. Here's the picture I use for splash screen prior to live streams on Twitch (which I haven't done in awhile)
Also found a picture of the basement empty from around the time I bought the house. Basically standing in the same place
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Minnesota isn't that far. Looking for a roommate?
If you don’t mind sleeping under the games. You could use the mattress leaning up against counterforce.
Quoted from Daditude:Well....it's my dream game room....
[quoted image]
Nobody seems to be bothered by the incorrect legs
