Work in progress but got my first real pinball last month LZ premium, pretty decent gaming pc I built, Virtual pinball, and working on putting in a drop down screen and projector for movies.

I want to add a slim 2 player full size arcade I’ll be building after summer and will have room for another 2-3 pinball machines which I plan on getting over the next 3-4 years.l depending on used locally or new ones I really want coming out.

Added a projector setup last week, just need a mame system and some better recliners and I’m set. Crammed a lot into a little space but it works!

    Quoted from Hipponotic:

Led Zeppelin is hands down my favorite…the multiball rules and progression is always fun and the magic frenzy multiball is easily one of the best pinball experiences between lights, shots and music…too good.

Agreed 100%. Easily one of the best pinballs to come out in the last few years even more so if you enjoy Zeppelin (who doesn’t?).

Don’t forget it was #1 on pinside up until angry JJP GnR fans got butt hurt and slid the rankings intentionally lol.

    #17952 2 years ago
    Quoted from Roostking:

And the only reason it was #1 is cause you owners rushed in and pumped up a new pin, as #1, when its been out only a few months lol. No way it is anywhere near #10.
    Back on topic..
    Awesome game rooms!

Again it’s never bothered me what it ranks because everyone that’s played it knows what’s up.

Added a new arcade cab and projector / pulldown screen since I posted last. Will be getting rid of the couch for a smaller futon (guest room too) and virtual pinball is getting traded for a few more arcade setups by end of year. Still waiting to see what my next pin will be!

I don't have a ton of room in here so I'm trying to figure out the best way to lay it out.

    Quoted from ExSquid:

Nice! I also have the class of 1981 Galaga Mrs pacman. You play with rapid fire on or off? I found the rapid fire Galaga fun but WAY to easy.

Definitely default settings. Making my daughter learn the games the hard way! Just picked it up last weekend!

    Quoted from ExSquid:

Good move. My friend and I almost died getting that beast into the basement of my house. I think whoever buys my house from me is inheriting that machine.

Yea I’m disabled so it was TOUGH. luckily my buddy has a really nice furniture dolly and I had some decent ramps for my truck. Saw it go on the Facebook market for $600 and was 6 miles from me. Didn’t care if I hurt myself I wasn’t missing that deal!

Fixed the front lock and marquee light last night. She’s as good as new!!

    Quoted from moat-pin:

Are there other hobbies where this happens so prolifically? It’s literally same story for 90% of people. Person buys one pinball. Person says that is enough. Person quickly reneges and says will get a second one (for some reason like variety, or in case one breaks, or this one is for my kid). Then 2 becomes 4-30. I know this been said before many times but just fascinating.

I've always planned on owning multiple pins since my early 20's. Took me 20 years since to get to a point where I can finally start my collection.. Started with my first NIB this year and planning on getting a few more in the next year or so. My office only has room for 6 pins max and that would be a tight squeeze, 4 would be comfortable while still having a usable room. I would have 50 pins if I had the room but short of renting a space and doing that I'm going to have to settle on 4 I really like.

Added a Neo Geo (restoring it currently) and a Legends multicade cab this week!

    Quoted from SimpleSam:

How do you like that Ms Pac-Man/Galaga game? I've been thinking of adding an arcade game and that seems like it would be a great first arcade. Seems like having two popular games and a 25 inch monitor would make it popular at parties.

Galaga has been my dream machine forever. I couldn’t find any good Galaga stand-alone for a good price which I still want but couldn’t pass this one up it’s in amazing shape and turns out my kids love the Mrs Pac-Man more, so it’s a win/win. This one it barely got played from the previous owner who bought it pretty new. There’s a bunch of these out there too for decent prices I see them pop up quite often.

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

that is the widest ms pac and galaga i've ever seen.

    Wide angle shot

    Quoted from ExSquid:

I don't care what anyone says Nam 1975 was the best game on the Neo Geo.

I’m a puzzle bobble fan myself.

    #19205 2 years ago
    Quoted from Daditude:

Galaga was my favorite arcade when I was a kid, so I bought an original that was converted to a 60 in 1 and has a LCD screen. (I am moving some items around, so I didn't turn it on for the pic)[quoted image]

That’s what I had been looking for. That machine took my lunch money for YEARS in high school!

    Quoted from punkin:

I got a beautiful MMle arranged yesterday. All i had to do was give up my JJP Gnrle. No contest.

solid trade! That’s my dream pin for sure. I’m trying to get in a waitlist for 2023 but I have a feeling I may not get one.

    #19227 2 years ago
    Quoted from punkin:

I posted in the confession thread how happy i was with the trade and i don't think all the happiness came from the brownie.
The guy with the MM contacted me as i had the GnR listed for sale and he proposed the trade. it was one of those win/win deals where nobody tried to wangle cash or anything, just he had a 2 pin collection and was sick of MM, GnR was the first record he bought as a kid and loved the band.
I was totally sick of GnR and growing to hate it, but had once played an MM and loved it, it's why i bought AFM.
    Both super excited and happy.

My favorite kinda deal. 2 hobbyists walking away happy!.

Too many people trying to make a buck ruins it for some of us who don’t have loads of expendable income to get stuff we want. I just had a great deal last week with a guy off Facebook trading my virtual pinball build for his Neo geo cabinet and some other small pc parts. I got bored with the Vpin since I got my LZ and wanted to restore a Neo geo for awhile now. Win/Win! And I made a new friend!

No new pins to report.. yet. but added a Neo Geo (traded a virtual pinball I built for it) I’ve been refurbishing the last month (still a ways to go but it’s up and running now!). Next year I plan on adding 1-2 pins.

Just picked up my second pin Monday so I figured I’d update my game room pic! Cool to look back over the years and see it growing!

Don’t have any plans for a new pin until later next year if the MM reruns happen.

Also want to say I’m insanely impressed with everyone’s setups, some real passion for the hobby. If I had more room in my house but this is about all the space I can spare for now. Definitely making the most of what I got.
