just got done tonight with the last of the powder coatingI like the taller black bar stools....local?
May be building a beach house Prob have a 7 pin arcade. What electrical service upgrade should I ask the electrician? Dedicated service for wall outlets? Thx for any help if you have done electrical in your gameroom.

Very nice Did you add plugs behind the neon's? No visible wires
Moving to a nice beach house in a few months. I wont have the biggest gameroom but it will be very nice. If all goes to plan going to do the real brick/mortar facade on one wall. Neon signs, pics etc....prob 5-6 pins, 2 vids, whiskey barrel table and my vintage round top coke machine. Will be on second floor which makes it a pain getting pins up there but it will help me limit trading Question is we are getting a very nice large covered porch on the back so I have the option to have some stuff outside during warmer months. Anyone have any part of their gameroom outside? Going to have a pub table and trying to decide what else can go outside just off the gameroom.
I think biggest design issues for most gameroom's is how to handle corners. Put all games in a row, put one angled out in corner, put vids in corner, or do 2 on small wall and 4 on larger wall.
Going to have 6 pins, 1-2 arcades, coke machine and whiskey barrel table in my new gameroom. Anyone have thoughts what works better barstools in a gameroom with or without backs?
Thanks. Going for the whiskey barrel look. So backs it is....and for a little more I can get some that swivel

We have these got them for $109 for the pair. Very happy with them. They swivel, raise up and down and have a foot bar.

Thx....going for a diff look but appreciate the heads up. I have a Buffalo Trace Whiskey barrel and reclaimed barnwood round top being made
Quoted from Jmckune:My game room accepted a rare addition this past weekend! Added transporter to the lineup. Also have plenty of room for future expansion! Eventually the goal is all 30 sys 11 machines. I still need to get the bad cats back home

Looks great. We are having a beach house built and my gameroom is upstairs and has a stair railings like you buy builder does white spindles. I'm doing the black iron like yours. Did you do them yourself? Lowes or home depot or on line? Thx
Quoted from Skatewake:I wish I had a basement.... Man these new world problems I have.....
Building near the ocean we cant have basements. Water table. Second floor porch will let the fun spill outside. Prob get 6 pins, multicade, coke machine, whiskey barrel table, tv and some comfy chairs.

I know what you mean about the water table. I'll have 20 pins by the time I move back and no suitable place for them. Basement not an option, so wife and I are planning to break ground on a 40' x 28' expansion there in about 12-18 months.
Very cool. This area is crazy with new homes. Everyone moving to the Beach and Delaware is the new place to retire since taxes are cheap. Property tax is like 80% less then MD Need to change my pinside name
Moved into Beach retirement home last month near Bethany Beach. No basements so houses all have lofts. We added a 5th bedroom upstairs so that cut the gameroom to 16 x 16. Always wanted a log home so wifey said have at it. Did fake beams and real brick, whiskey table to give it warehouse/barn feel. Still need to add neons, sports stuff and arcade signs. Cool thing is the large second floor covered balcony off the gameroom. Prob can squeeze in 5 pins and 2 vids. Just a few early pics.

Game room coming together. Was thinking about brick wall paper or some other faux brick but I wen with the providence thin brick from lowes with mortar. Limited to 6 pins and once I finally find ES Ill be at capacity.

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:Looking really good! That brick looks real - is this room an extension? The timbers look great.
thanks everyone. Wanted a log home forever but we settled on the beach so I made the gameroom rustic. Its real brick from lowe's made for walls... Looks better in person, like an old warehouse. The timbers are 6 inch pine from home depot that you beat the crap out of with every tool you have and stain and glue together. they look like 6 x 6 farm house lumber.
Quoted from Daditude:Capacity???
You've got WAYYYYYY more room!!!
Ha. Room is like 16 x 16. Have large door up upstairs porch and windows and door to 5th bedroom. I could prob squeeze in a few more
Quoted from Waldo:How was working with that Lowes Brick product? Considering the same stuff or Home Depot’s version.
The lowes brick was awesome. I mixed both of their colors. I used their providence brand and a great video. Biggest pain was using a mortar bag, it clogged a lot and the clean up is messy. But looks like an old warehouse wall.
Quoted from Pinkitten:Is the Lowe’s brick a veneer, like a thin panel? It looks very authentic, and now I wish I had discovered that for my garage mancave!
Actually 1/2 " brick.
