    Quoted from Lonzo:

I used commercial grade carpet squares. Cool look and low profile. I put a slider on the end of each leg and the machines move around with very little effort. The carpet is waterproof but If something does happen just take the square out and put another in. image_(resized).jpg

I did the same thing in my last house. We converted the garage to a gameroom and my home office and at first I just epoxied the floor. I don't think anyone really liked standing on that hard cement floor for long periods of time. We ended up putting commercial grade carpet squares in there and I loved them. We just moved a little over a month ago and I'm going to convert the three car garage at our new house into another gameroom and home office and I plan on going commercial grade carpet again. I'm not sure if I'll do a roll or squares. I know the squares are better for the reasons you stated above but I'll have to see what the price difference between the two is. I love the look of epoxy floors but carpet all the way for me. But hey, different strokes for different folks right?

    You're right Howie!

Wow! That is an incredible gameroom!

I have a Ghostbusters themed arcade and I've been thinking for years about eventually adding some giant piece of equipment like you have to the left of your bar. Something with lots of lights, knobs, buttons, etc. I figured it would fit the whole crazy tech themes inside of Ghostbusters. Where did you stumble on some of that stuff if you don't mind me asking? I found some neat stuff on eBay years ago but the last few times I've tried searching I've come up dry. I'm not even sure what to type in the search box to get equipment like that.

I have dozens of arcade marquees that I'd like to hang on painted walls, what would be the best way to do this without putting any holes in the walls? I'm thinking it's probably those adhesive Velcro strips, has anyone used these? Will the adhesive damage the printing on back of the marquee if I should I need to remove it?

I think there's a good chance of marquee getting damaged if you use those Velcro strips and attempt to remove them one day.

What about an option like this? It's a picture ledge that hangs up with command scripts. No holes in your walls, no adhesive on your marquees. I use three of these to display action figures in my game room and haven't had any issues with them.

I tried convincing that we should move into the guest bedroom and turn the master into a game room. Didn't work

I did the same thing! Our master is huge and we barely have anything in it. Plus it's on the first floor!!! Sadly, my sales pitch did not work. Hah!

I still have some games and seating furniture to add but here is what mine looks like that I have been working on for the past 5+ months. Diner theme!

One of my new faves! Love the swinging door too!

That's a thing of beauty! GL was my first machine and the reason I'm hooked on pinball now. I bought her for $750 I think. One day, I'll own her again!

I second this. I bought one a few months ago for an alternate Stern Star Trek translite and I LOVE it.

Still have a Deadpool coming but wanted to show off my basement.

Amazing room! Love the Lego collection and that Super Mario Bros 3 art is genius!
