    My pride and joy:

    #4130 4 years ago
    Quoted from HighNoon:

    Cool legs on your Creature.

I now have all of my Bally Classics and my three remaining Stern's together...

That green congo with custom speaker panel and speakers is from after the fire? I also have a Congo and liked what you did!

    Quoted from agodfrey:

HH is a game everyone should have!!! Still haven't joined the club...but I shall

I did not know this game, but judging by the ipdb pics, the playfield looks so different than average.... It really must be an awesome game!

    #4218 4 years ago

Some pics of my posters and other stuff!

    #4226 4 years ago
    Quoted from Pinbali:

    Nice black hole

    Quoted from yzfguy:

That is the biggest glory hole I have ever seen.

At daylight its not so black!

Ready to be hung on my wall!!!

    #4232 4 years ago

Getting ready to watch the Coca Cola 600!

    #4237 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

That chair doesn't look comfortable for watching a 600 mile race.

Yeah, not so much really..... that chair stands on the outdoor near the pool, next to the game-room.... anyway, I was still geting ready.... the pillows, blanket, snacks and beer came after.... my wife joined me later and we kept most of the time playing with our dog..... hehehe.... but I surely enjoyed Carl Edwards victory!

    #4238 4 years ago
    Quoted from StormyX73:

Just two in the corner of my office. Hope to add more.
    IMG_0003.jpg (Click image to enlarge)

Love JD and that alternate AC/DC translite is something else!

    #4246 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Amen to that. I'd NEVER sell my Mustang just so I could buy more pins to put in the garage.

hehe.... If needed, I'd actually sell my pins to fit a Mustang!!!!

Glad there's no way to drive a car into my game-room!

    #4248 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

To funny. With my new garage addition I could change my setup to a garage cade but it's a detached garage so I couldn't go out there in the winter in my underwear to play.

You should fix once and for all your teletransporter...

    #4250 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

The tech finally came out and told me the bad news. The genetic rectifyer was blown and took out all the transducer power bio gel packs. I'd have to sell all my games to get the money to fix it.

Have you tried the aftermarket? Maybe you can find some second-hand parts....

    #4276 4 years ago
    Quoted from PromoJoe23:

Still a work in progress. Goal this summer is to have the entire garage cleaned out as much as possible. Then the following:
    - Paint
    - Redo Lighting
    - Rearrange so the arcades can be in the lineup
    - Bar with a Kegerator.
    - Add neon signs and posters.

Very nice collection! Great variety and great titles! Congrats!

    #4315 4 years ago

I ain't got a bar, but a pool, a 50's GE fridge and my barbecue space next to my game-room!

Keeping wet and greasy hands off my machines is a b****!

    #4317 4 years ago
    Quoted from Aurich:

My space is pretty modest by the standards of some of these gorgeous dedicated gamerooms, just a garage, but I enjoy it very much, no complaints.
My EMs are inside the house in my home office.

    1) Put some pics of you HO!

    2) How you are able to actually work with that sort of tempation right in front of you?

    #4320 4 years ago
    Quoted from Aurich:

It's an embarrassingly messy right now. So old photos, but desk on the left, pins on the right.

Nice, I've got some pins next to my desk as well! Can you see them?

    #4321 4 years ago
    Quoted from AlexSMendes:

I ain't got a bar, but a pool, a 50's GE fridge and my barbecue space next to my game-room!

Not one of my better pictures because the weather didn't help (rained earlier), and the pool is dirty (autumn), but I hope I can pass an idea of the space I've got right next to my game-room! hehe.... working from home has its upsides!!!!

    #4324 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

You must have some great parties with a set up like that. You work from home...what do you do?

hehe... not so much, but we really enjoy some winter weekend nights preparing pizza at the wood burning stove...

IT sales.... actually, I only work from home when I ain't got no customers meetings scheduled for the day!

    #4328 4 years ago

Yeah, I'm already getting tired of that Star Trek dude....

    #4337 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Nice. Sounds like you have a nice life down there.

Thanks man, we have to always try, right? And, when life throws us lemons, we make caipirinhas!!!!!

Here's a pic of the overall space, including the pool and the game-room back there.... Sunrise during autumn and winter throws some sunlight at the front of some machines. .... I'll definitely have to take care of this or else will face some serious fading problems!

    #4342 4 years ago
    Quoted from BMore-Pinball:

Pins outside in Rio? Won't the humidity corrode them quickly?

I don't live by the beach (about 15 min driving), but I can say that I spend quite more than I'd like with maintenance..... Most of the time switches problems. ...

    #4363 4 years ago
    Quoted from BigBlockFever:

Genie, Airborne and Comet - what a threesome!!!!

    Could not recognize the EM....

    #4376 4 years ago
    Quoted from Meegis:

Looks to be an Aladdins Castle.

Of course!!!! Nothing like checking pin photos with the notebook instead a mobile phone!

    #4377 4 years ago

Checkin Aladdin's Castle PF on IPDB... what a nice game it must be!

    #4378 4 years ago
    Quoted from AlexSMendes:

Genie, Airborne and Comet - what a threesome!!!!
    Could not recognize the EM....

All 4 wonderful pins..... what a FOURSOME!

    #4379 4 years ago
    Quoted from agodfrey:

More or less this will be the layout. Hard to believe, the room 'feels' so big.....4 pins and a desk sure take up a lot of room... If I need to I can squeeze two more in....who needs both doors, ha
    Screen Shot 2015-05-11 at 9.18.27 PM.png

Looks like you've got a great view outside! Can you at least keep the left door always shut and move your pin sideways so you are able take the glass out whenever you need without having to move pins around?

    #4401 4 years ago
    Quoted from NPO:

The encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy...

Wow, from what movie have you taken this phrase?

    #4414 4 years ago
    Quoted from agodfrey:

I am with you on that. I need my space!

I used to agree with you guys..... until I bought another pinball machine, and another, and another..... and then I thought.... what the heck.... I know, it sucks big time having to move the machines around whenever I need to do any maintenance, but what can I do?

    #4417 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Yeah same here, it's a sickness aint it.

    Quoted from NPO:

Not to come across on obnoxiously obvious, but, not buy so many machines?
Just throwing that out there .

I just couldn't find any PA (pinballholic anonymous), meetings around my neighborhood...

    #4423 4 years ago
    Quoted from philwojo:

We do all you guys get the money for all these games? I have 1 pin and I don't know how I could afford to get another, at least not the newer stuff that I would want that is. We are not rich, but we don't live pay check to pay check either. Man I wish I knew what the secret was to having 10+ machines and most of them being new stuff!!

I guess most of all (including myself), starve and don't have lives!

    #4443 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

But you do have to be careful and not "nudge" the game too hard. Pisses off some of my friends who get a bit to physical with my games.

The friends who are too physical with my games are no longer invited to play. PERIOD!

    #4449 4 years ago
    Quoted from philwojo:

The one I have now, a TAF, was bought over 20+ years ago, and it was a stretch then. I guess my wife and I could do it, but I haven't had a raise or promotion at work in over 5 years, plus I was just laid off a month ago. Ignoring the layoff part we also love to travel, so that is where most of our money goes, that and saving for retirement. We just did Africa last year for 2 weeks, it was amazing, would do it again in a heart beat too.
I just see people on here with 20+ game collections and most of them are $3k+ machines in that group of 20 and I just can see how you can do that, and people aren't doing it over 20 years, they are doing it so quick. I just wish I had that kind of extra money to throw around, just being a bit jealous, love everyone's pics on this thread, one of my favorite threads on here.

My wife says we don't travel much because of my pinball machines..... go figure!

    #4450 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

My "physical" friends have learned better by now after I've said WTF a few times.

hehe.... I'm at work right now.... tomorrow I'll show you the signs I put on the walls for the guests!!!!!

    #4457 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

That sounds like they are gonna be funny.

Hey, here it goes..... you see, I think there's nothing new to them, maybe the majority of the pinsiders here must have already seen those signs..... but it's always a good laugh for newcomers!

    20150616_212404.jpg 20150616_212549.jpg
    #4459 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Nope never seen these before. Wouldn't they make people afraid to play them?

That was the original idea, but unfortunately it didn't seem to work!

    #4463 4 years ago
    Quoted from Eddie:

Want those signs for my game room!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow man.... I'll dig into my external HD's to see if I can find the original arts!

    2 weeks later
    #4477 4 years ago

Unfortunately, a playfield hanging on the wall means that there's one less pinball in the world!

    #4533 4 years ago
    Quoted from GRB1959:

    A few more photos.

Cool, but you shall get rid of that donkos pennant!

    #4535 4 years ago
    Quoted from GRB1959:

Believe me after the 2014 Super Bowl that thought crossed my mind.

    #4539 4 years ago
    Quoted from PW79:

JFH you broke the thread for me
You & the clockwork orange acid milkshake game room dude have ruined my life lol
Man you need to make a thread on your room too with stories & pics & details.
    Do it!

I'd say the same.... Just showed to my wife! We both loved the Vintage 50's area for the EM's and the Star Trek Space theme for the modern pins!

    #4593 4 years ago
    Quoted from solid187:

My collection so far. Looking to add a nice FT, DM, or World Cup Soccer if I can find one.

Dude, please, don't ruin your awesome collection with a WCS.....

    #4595 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Fish Tales would go great in your collection.

I once owned a FT... Lots of fun and the music is awesome! But them an opportunity came to me to trade it for a TotAN - no brainer but I miss the FT anyway!

    #4635 4 years ago
    Quoted from JosiahCox:

Not the whole room but here is the latest lineup shot. Man some of you guys have amazing game rooms. Cheers!

    Finally! Some pinballs again!

    #4640 4 years ago

Those awesome game-rooms are inspirational! Keep on coming and yes, let's play pinball!

    #4646 4 years ago
    Quoted from rottenrobert1313:

Just added new carpet to my gameroom. Now looking for a nice RFM to add to the expansion I'm doing in another part-

Many arcade games and just 1 pinball machine??? Man, you've got to rethink your priorities!!!

When done my game room will be 1800sqft. Eta June 2016

    image.jpg image_1.jpg

    Now you're just showing off.

    #4739 4 years ago
    Quoted from Cheese_WizardPQ:

Here's the last lineup After selling and buying new games.

Got that strange sensation that the pinballs on the back are not leveled....

    #4752 4 years ago
    Quoted from twenty84:

The video games I made myself. There is a thread on the arcade controls forum where I describe how they work:
They are attached to the wall but do not go through it. They are much thinner than the originals because they use a LCD monitor. The games are emulated on a Raspberry Pi (except for Fix-it-Felix Jr. which uses a Windows 7 PC). There is no danger of them falling off the wall.

Really liked the idea! Thumbs up.!

    #4815 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

That's why I never got married.

That leaves us with one question.... who's the girl in your avatar?

    #4823 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

That was my girlfriend from '85-'91.

Well, at least I hope you still got that gourgeous black Mustang!

    #4839 4 years ago
    Quoted from RDReynolds:

Not sure I like them, but I'm trying to find something to keep my stupid dog from running under mine. Open to suggestions!

My dog lies under my pins when he knows he's about to take a shower (can you spot him?)..... It's a pain in the ass to get him when he does that.... Anyway, I think he's way much clever, I LOVE him!!!!!

    #4849 4 years ago
    Quoted from RDReynolds:

If your dog was deciding to be "bad" under there you wouldn't . that's my issue.

Oh, now I see.... Fortunately he never p*** on any of my pin legs, but he did it many times on my CD collection BAD DOG!

    #4855 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Only on the cd's he didn't like I'll bet.

Well, some Whitesnake cd's were lost!!!!

    #4857 4 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

Your just gonna have to raise that whole thing off the ground a couple of feet. That will be the end of it.

Definitely thought about that.... I have to keep the door closed while I'm not around and he's inside the house.... I don't trust him anymore..... one spot that he likes to pee is my refrigerator, so the kitchen door is always closed as well!!!! That being said, I ain't got much trouble with him regarding this problem.... the rest of the house is somewhat safe..... when he's around he usually goes down and makes his #1 necessities on the walls around the pool, so I'm constantly throwing some cleaning liquids on it (day and night)!

Anyway, my pinballs are safe untill now....

You need to buy a JACK-BOT!

    #4966 4 years ago
    Quoted from Spitfiren8:

Been awhile and i added a few vids recently so here's a few updated pics...
    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Very nice details.... loved the NASCAR race car hanging on the ceiling, and the car floor mats on the floor!

    #4991 4 years ago
    Quoted from pinmanguy:

Didn't say it wasn't difficult, I couldn't do it. But difficult doesn't equal entertaining.

To be actually on the stands and watch a live NASCAR race or any race that "drive around circles" is awesome, and a experience some can never forget. Now, to watch a live race on a road course can be extremely boring especially when you only get to see the cars pass right through you every 2 min or so... They all have it's unique characteristics and I love'em all!

    #4992 4 years ago
    Quoted from Spitfiren8:

    No its still stock.

You see, I'd hang it upside down..... Wasn't originally meant to be like this?

Dude, I recently opened a new thread called "Threesome".... hehehe.... (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/threesome)

Please, post your PIN-BOT Three.... logy pic there!!!!!

    #5055 4 years ago
    Quoted from king-pin:

No worries, didn't open that thread because I was a bit afraid of what I might see.

    That was kind on purpose

    #5068 4 years ago
    Quoted from Roostking:

I'm with you man!! Still got a game room!!!

Adrenaline starts to flow, you're thrashing all around, acting like a maniac.

    #5083 3 years ago
    Quoted from sleazius:

Pool windows are perspex, not likely to break, just crack. The Batcave did have several leaks due to a fault in construction, all fixed now. The whole outside of it was covered in a membrane however the membrane was pierced in about 10 spots (all really close together). Those got patched and it doesn't leak now.

With that much open space, I just wonder why would you build underground ....

    #5087 3 years ago
    Quoted from MiamiRedSkin:

I think he just won this thread

Sure nice but I guess you didn't go thru this whole thread....

    Quoted from SpecialK-33:

It's finally time I add to this already awesome thread. Not quite the basement man cave, more like a sauna here in So Cal with the heat! Pins are in my garage trying to stay cool.

    image.jpg image_1.jpg image_2.jpg

You think it's hot in SoCal? Come to Rio, man.

    #5186 3 years ago
    Quoted from gweempose:

For those of you with pool tables near your pins, aren't you afraid that a hard break could send the cue ball flying off the table? I've been thinking about getting a pool table, but this is something that concerns me.

Well, how much do you like playing pool? Is it worth the risk? I'd say: not for me......

    1 week later
    #5210 3 years ago
    Quoted from Strange:

Gotta have a bar. To me that's even more essential to a gameroom than having pins.

Dude, you're in the wrong forum.

    #5219 3 years ago
    Quoted from Spitfiren8:

Dude relax...dont take the title of the thread so literally. This is a gameroom discussion topic not just a pic thread. This is one of the only "drama free" topics on pinside anymore. Please dont bring any here. No reason to stir up shit cuz you dont like to read. i personally dont want to get or send unsolicited pm's to folks when there is already a thread to handle such questions.

Most of the time I don't read posts without pics, and I just can't stand "in construction" pics..... but I gotta be ok with it, or else I wouldn't be able to post all this blah-blah-blah right now.....

    #5222 3 years ago
    Quoted from Colsond3:

And to add more blah blah blah...very nice collection you've compiled Amendes.

Thanks man.... hopefully my Johnny Mnemonic will arrive this week from restoration, then I will post some updated pics of my game-room!

I am soooo stoked to see your Johnny......Mnemonic

Soon man.... now I'm already counting the seconds!!!! If there's no additional unpleasant surprises, tomorrow is the big day!

    #5253 3 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

    Except for their bark.

    Oh, please, don't say that!

    #5254 3 years ago
    Quoted from agodfrey:

I gotta plan a trip to Rio !!!

Yes, you do! Though I'm not a frequent visitor, we've got a pinball club with over 100 up and running pins!

    #5258 3 years ago

Well, I don't have the answer to your question, but I do know that, if for whatever reason you'd like to fit pins in a volkswagen bug, the answer is 5 (2 in the front and 3 behind).

I do have an older Terminator 2 gun game from the 90's and my plan is to get buck hunter and house of the dead but this was going to be my center piece of the game house along with a skee ball I have on order.

    Quoted from twenty84:

I set up a MAME cabinet to play shooter games with a Windows PC, 52 in TV, and two arcade guns (www.arcadeguns.com). It can play a lot of the favorites mentioned here (area 51, Time crisis, Terminator 2, CarnEvil, Golgo 13, Lethal Enforcers, Jurassic Park, etc.) It gets a lot of play at parties and the TV can be used to watch TV at other times. I like this more than a cabinet dedicated to a single game system because it allows more variety without taking up a lot of space. The disadvantage is that it can't play the modern games.

    Quoted from ZNET:

Here's eight photos of my utilitarian basement gameroom. It's populated largely by EM pinballs and EM arcade games. Other occupants include six prewar pinball machines and a few trade stimulators.
I've got a section dedicated to an elaborate HO slot car track and slot car collection and a workshop area down there as well (not pictured). However, I plan to consolidate that wing to make room for two EM pinball machines which are temporarily stationed upstairs (in violation of my agreement with my sweet wife).
In the future, I plan to hang some art on the cinder block walls and improve the lighting. There's nothing fancy here. . .exposed ceiling, fluorescent light fixtures, and a hodgepodge of throw-rugs on a cement floor. Two good things, though---the ceiling is extra high for a suburban basement and the staircase is free of angles.

Dude, post some more close-ups of your other games!
