Quoted from DaWezl:I'm finally starting to set up the game room, woohoo!
We installed the one set of tentacles a couple weeks ago--still have two more to put up--and got the seating area set up last Sunday. Plenty of space for GB when it gets here, and then...?
Always nice to see another Hi Deal machine. I have had mine for over 35 years.
Quoted from Dooskie:Heading into the off-season here at my golf course, so I had my range crew moving pinball machines around this morning for me, making room for the two new additions that will be here on Tuesday (Jungle Lord, Stars). Of course, after moving the machines around, I had to have everyone test them to make sure they worked and were level. I've had these in the pro shop all summer, and none of these guys had ever played. They were all introduced to pinball for about an hour this morning. Pretty tough when the boss says you have to play pinball while you're on the clock.
My backyard course is about to close down for the winter too. So it is back to playing golf in the clubhouse and the games in the arcade.
Quoted from Dooskie:Have you somehow sealed the autographs on the ball washer so they don't fade away or accidentally get smudged?
I actually talked with a vice president at Par Aide after I got it and he said he also has one and that as long as it doesn't have direct sunlight, it should be fine. I too thought I would need to put some kind of clear coat on it to preserve the autographs, but 4 years later, it looks the same as the day I got it. The one that sits outside during the summer, I actually wax to keep it looking good.
Quoted from TRAMD:Why not.
Very nice game room. One thing I noticed was your PGA Tour Team Challenge machine. Don't see many who have them. I too have one running everything from Championship 1 and 3, Challenge and Team Challenge All Access Pass.
I also am running an "Offline" tour through Facebook if you are interested in competing with others from around the world.

We are always looking for more players while we wait to see if we can once again get the machines online again and compete via the World Tour and online tournaments.
Quoted from TRAMD:Thanks guys!
Are you sure? I'm a bad ass at this game. -15 to -20 scores are regular...or maybe that's the norm...I just beat all of my friends and it is the most played vid in my collection.
Here are the scores for this weeks tournament. It would be great to have you join us.
Quoted from Parzival:Small collection, but working on it!
Looks good. I couldn't afford a bubble hockey, but I had my daughter paint my players in Fighting Sioux colors.
Quoted from KirboTurbo:2 of my favorite things in 1 room, Pinball & Golf! Things got a little crazy one night with some of my buddies, so i had to make a rules sign.
2 of my favorite things too.
My clubhouse, and game area.

Quoted from Pahuffman:A few small updates from last time I posted but nothing major. Still doesn't compare to a lot of these game palaces. FunHouse is at my parents' place for now.
Nice room Brother.
Quoted from TRAMD:I'm not sure if I posted this video here before. Since this video I have everything fixed to perfect working condition (first time ever) and added a Tekken 2 next to the SF 2 pin.

Too bad the PGA Team Challenge is down. We have about 30 guys from around the world playing in weekly tournaments online. Hope you get it running soon.

Quoted from bbhenry2000:We just moved into our home on Labor Day weekend so we still have some work to do.
Awesome set of pictures. Really like the Deereboni
I drove a Zamboni when I couldn't get a job after college. It was the one thing I was asked about on my resume when I was interviewing for a job.
Game rooms are fun for the winter months,
Untitled (resized).jpg
but my summers are shared with my backyard golf course.
20160715_152359 (resized).jpg
Quoted from RWH:Sounds like you need a no good gophers to make your summer fun in the game room too!
I helped get my friend into pinball last year and his first pin was a NGG. So I decided that I would get a Tee'd Off for my clubhouse
Quoted from mrossman5:Some more.
Like the Coke collection. Mine aren't collectibles, but very useful.
Quoted from SDTMinSTL:This may get some eye rolls but...
Seeing all the great rooms that are here, and with my obsessive need for planning our pending basement addition, have any of you ever made a digital mock up of your room with the machines for placement and layout ideas? Say a scale drawing or some sort of interior planning software? Was just curious if anyone had used anything. I am looking for something really simple to use. Autodesk makes a program that is free for personal use homestyler but it looks to be a little too intricate for what I am looking for.
Any ideas?
I made a rough scale of my game room in Excel. The pieces are then imported as pictures so that they can be moved and rotated as needed.
Quoted from Krh13:Here's some pictures of my modest Gameroom. I know.....only one pinball machine, but the other ones keep falling in my lap. Latest pickup was Asteroids Deluxe for $50 last week.
Just need to finish the rest of the basement and find a place for the rest of the families clutter. Its in the way.
Then it is another pinball, a shuffleboard table, and a shuffle puck bowler. Oh, , and a winning lottery ticket of course.
I do have to say that that this is my favorite thread right now. Thanks for sharing all of your rooms!
The important part is that you have fun. Game rooms will always evolve.
Quoted from DaWezl:Made a few changes so here’s an updated photo. The fourth (working) pin really makes it feel like a real game room!

Nice to see the Hi Deal continues to be in its place of honor.
Quoted from brad808:As always it's a work in progress but this is where my room is at now:

There is a joining room with a small bar, dart board, touch screen jukebox, etc too. Overall I'm pretty happy with what I have but I'm sure I'll keep changing it up over time. I want to adjust the layout a bit but I haven't come up with anything better yet.
Always nice to see another PGA Tour Golf game. So much better than the GTs of the time. If you would like to play it online with about 60 players from around the world, here is a link to our Facebook community.

Unfortunately, my PGA did not fit in my game room, so it remains in my "clubhouse".
Evolution of the game room. I think I have finally passed the limit of its space without having to get rid of anything.

Quoted from zh2oson:I didn't immediately search eBay for "Star Wars pachinko" after watching this video. YOU DID.
I saw a Space Battleship Yamata (aka Star Blazers) Pachinko a few months back on CL. Wish I hadn't passed up on that one. At least I still have my Yamato Pachislo.

Thanks! I wish it was the Nintendo game, would have been easier to move.

The new PooBot mod
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Yes, but not currently setup. Here are some pictures of what it looked like at my old place.[quoted image][quoted image]
Nice to see a golf sim set up with Perfect Golf. I had hoped to do that in my basement, but it was a foot too short. I have 4 different courses I converted from my Links2003 designs for play in Perfect Golf. Just never felt they were good enough for release.
dwan18 (resized).jpgpasted_image (resized).pngQuoted from RWH:I know exactly what your saying, I get more out of pinball when I see people enjoy my games than I ever do just playing them. Sometimes I just try to blend in the background just so I can soak it up and bask in all the joy on every ones face, it's for those moments I'm in this hobby.
Very true. I find that I just watch when the game room is open and people are over.
pasted_image (resized).pngQuoted from okgrak:fantastic TNG topper.....
I was given the Picard Pop by my daughter for my birthday. So after I bought my STTNG, it seemed like a good way to use it and fill out the cast. Just wish they made a Dr Crusher Pop.

Oh, and pinball is cool
gameroom mar2020 (resized).jpg
Quoted from cait001:loving that people are putting pachinko and pachislo machines in to their rooms. Not everyone's cup of tea I get it, but a great and flashy way to use some otherwise dead wall-space most of the time. And especially cool if you can find a theme you love.
Put mine in my egress window. The Pachislo machine I bought only because of the theme. Space Battleship Yamato (aka Star Blazers) was my favorite show as a kid.

Very nice room. I really liked the Augusta 12th hole picture. My Amen Corner pictures are in my "clubhouse". pasted_image (resized).png
But my version of Amen Corner is in the back yard.
ec3 (resized).jpg
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Thanks. I picked it up from the lady at the end of my block for $5 at a yard sale years ago. I love major golf and especially The Masters. Was strange watching it in November but happy it happened at all this year. Your Clubhouse is awesome!
Right? After the wife went up after happy hour last night I put the Monday Night Football game on and shot by myself till after 10pm in between tearing down SF2. We talk about joining a league whenever this pandemic subsides. We did dart league for a few years in the early 2000s and it was fun.[quoted image]
I have been doing a custom colorization for my Tee’d Off pinball machine for about 3 years and had decided to make a custom animation for the plunge to hole in one scene. Originally I used #17 at TPC Sawgrass, but decided to make another option using #12 at Augusta. Sadly I just sold Tee’d Off to a friend to make room for Indiana Jones.

Just waiting on the light fixture to come.

Much better looking than that "bowling shoe" paint scheme Northwest used back in the 90s in that towel. I do think that NW compass logo was the best Northwest ever had however.
pasted_image (resized).pngQuoted from Boblabla:From MN and a Sioux fan! Gotta love that!
Sioux Forever! Even the game room had its Green on last night.

Quoted from Boblabla:Is that a dartboard right next to a pj screen? Gutsy!
It's a Valley Cougar dartboard (soft tip). The TV is a Samsung which I use as a TV and monitor for my Mame PC in the cabinet below it. Haven't had an issue....so far.
game room jan2021 (resized).jpgQuoted from jaytrem:Oh, and chronological order....
[quoted image]
I like chronological order.
6 pins Feb2021 (resized).jpgQuoted from EJS:I hope you don’t mind I photoshopped some people into your game room pic.[quoted image]
Even better that there were real people playing them. 155 games were played on the pins on Saturday. Thanks Eric.
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:Damn! That took some talent and time!
Here's another idea. MY wife and I had originally thought about doing a number of panels of different side art but it's tough to find just one side decal for sale.
I've posted this before but maybe some new guys have never seen it. It's simply an exploded view of an AFM.
Needless to say, this all had to be custom cut to fit 2x4 and 2x2 spaces.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
I have a drop ceiling in my game room if you want a place for your AFM panels when you sell.
pasted_image (resized).pngQuoted from moat-pin:Wow that TOTAN backglass is different- pretty cool
I thought someone had made a custom Monty Pythons Life of Brian pin.
Quoted from big-c66:Took the wall out between my game room and the wife’s tanning room to make room for more games that are coming. Now I can play pool again to still have to redo the floors n wall. She might have been a little bit upset about taking part of her room.
[quoted image][quoted image]
My wife wanted a "reading corner" when we finished the basement into a game room. Over the years, the games grew and the reading room was moved to a more suitable location.
game room jun2016 (resized).jpggame room jan2021 (resized).jpg
Quoted from AlexRogan84:How does everyone do their "order" of games? Age? Manufacturer? Theme?
My main four are in the order I remembered / loved them as a kid... Getaway, Funhouse, Diner, Party Zone.
Mine are chronological. Although my MMrSE is technically newer than the NGG.
