I was going to show a pic of my meager gameroom, but after going back and browsing through a few posts and seeing xfassa post...i wont bore you all. Well done, sir.

Let's see your collection. Big or small, they are all great!

I just moved in a few months ago, so this is a work in progress. I have a JP being shipped and i am picking up a HS at the Texas pinball festival.

    Quoted from jorge5240:

They were all gone and my dad had to have it shipped in from Australia for my birthday. You can find them cheaper here in the states but my dad wanted new and make sure I got it. I love it but surprisingly most of guest are not that impressed by it. I would love the life size dead pool to go along with my LE.

    Quoted from jaytrem:

Fair question. That in theory was a 1000 year flood, probably more like a 100 year these days. I was familiar with the type of flooding my house experienced before we purchased, if we could stick with those I would be no big deal at all. The house seems to be built with the more reasonable floods in mind. There's actually a somewhat easy flood control fix that will hopefully be built one of these days. Up stream is a giant reservoir they no longer use for drinking water. Unfortunately they can only lower it a bit with the current pipe setup. Most likely the new pipes won't cost a crazy amount, but when fund it they go with the worst case scenario (like 10X more). So it might be a while. The other good news is we don't flash flood at all. The pins will most likely be outta here completely when things are looking bad.
Anyway, I should post a game room pic. Very modest, moved some stuff around (the Comet is currently living at my moms). Eventually the couch will go and I'll add a few more pins. I figure if I stick with the coaster theme I can't go too crazy![quoted image]

    Why is there no funhouse?

My gameroom is gradually improving. I should go back in this thread and fibd the "before" pic. It still isn't where I want it to be...

All these game rooms look so incredible! As a bonus, I can show these rooms with 100 pinballs to my wife, and it makes me seem like I have mine under control Congrats on the incredible mancaves! and please keep up the pics (just in case I need to keep sharing them with my wife)

I, on the other hand, have a gameroom that looks like a firehazard a lot of times because I tinker and fix pins and arcades frequently. Here are a few pics of how those gamerooms (like mine) look:

    Quoted from Calfdemon:

For slot machines, its all about the fun interactive bonus games and the sound of coins hitting trays for nostalgia. My personal favorites are the mid 90's Williams 40x series. I have 7 machines (5 and home and 2 at vacation house) but I have 21 different kits so I can swap them out and keep them fresh.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

That High Speed is cool!! I didn't know those existed.

    #14998 4 years ago
    Quoted from Calfdemon:

Yeah, highly sought after. I hope someday to have a HS pin and have them side by side, but unlikely due to limited pin space and already over capacity. Cant see getting rid of any of my pins for a HS.

Do you have a garage? Maybe a bookcase that could be moved? How fond are you of your dining table?

    When there's a will, there's a way.

    #15000 4 years ago
    Quoted from Calfdemon:

As it is, the last 2 pins were bought without the wife knowing until well after and R&M was bought without anywhere to put it. Thinking SS will go in the garage when R&M shows up. Point being if I ever try and get another, then I will have LOTS of room, cause the wife will be gone... Lol. Would rather keep her!

Ok! You've talked me into it...i'll PM my address so you can ship me some

    Quoted from chubtoad13:

Definitely time for a bigger room, or a second room.
What happens when you need to take the glass off Jurassic Park? More importantly, how does anyone play Jurassic Park?

You can't tell from the weird angle of the pic, but there is about 3-4 feet between Jurassic park and the shadow. Plenty of room to play it, but not enough to take off the glass.

    Quoted from Irishbastard:

I have this Coin-op Breathalyzer. It works pretty good, found it NOS cheap on eBay a while back. Have had a few of the larger talking ones, they never worked right, always required Calibration, and the sensors failed often. Funny thing is, this one came from a seller in Florida, but has Rhode Island legal limit info on the front (I'm in RI).
    [quoted image]

A guy whose handle is Irishbastard has a breathalyzer! Classic!

    Quoted from Irishbastard:

Yea, booze was my friend lol. Currently Dry since March 8th though, so I won't be using that Breathalyzer any time soon hopefully.

I am of Irish descent, and I certainly like to imbibe in a few drinks...but an unpleasant doctor visit has led to me doing VERY little here lately. I have had fewer drinks in the last 10 months combined than I used to enjoy in a single evening. Seriously.

    Quoted from sixtyfourbits:

Not so much a gameroom, but more so my current lineup. It goes Baywatch, Super Mario Bros, Monopoly, Terminator 2, Star Wars Trilogy, and then a Star Wars themed retropie powered arcade cabinet.

    2 questions:

    1) which one is your favorite pin in the lineup?

    2) how many games on the retropie?

    Quoted from PlatinumPinMike:

Hey people , been quite a few years I have been inactive.
Recently downsized my collection since I’m not that much into hobby but I kept two machine I don’t plan to sell.
Recently remade my gameroom setup as I am more into terminator statue collection.
    Here what it looks like

Wow! That terminator themed section is AMAZING!!

    Quoted from Taygeta:

As a Terminator fan I am insanely jealous of all those busts and statues you have, damn dude! Trade that BoP for a T3

    Quoted from PlatinumPinMike:

Nah already have a T2 and BoP is a classic for me , but as a terminator collector I have considered that in past

There's still plenty of room to put a T3 in there

    Quoted from SNES:

I’m telling myself that right now. “Just three more and I’ll have everything I want and won’t need to buy anymore games” until something else comes out that I want haha

My wife keeps talking about another house...

I told her I'm not moving unless I have a gameroom that fits 20 games. Lol! Everyone I know wants more!

I have a buddy with 122 games, and he keeps saying he needs to add another addition to his place! Hahahaha!!

    Quoted from BrianJ1337:

Galaga has been my dream machine forever. I couldn’t find any good Galaga stand-alone for a good price which I still want but couldn’t pass this one up it’s in amazing shape and turns out my kids love the Mrs Pac-Man more, so it’s a win/win. This one it barely got played from the previous owner who bought it pretty new. There’s a bunch of these out there too for decent prices I see them pop up quite often.

Galaga was my favorite arcade when I was a kid, so I bought an original that was converted to a 60 in 1 and has a LCD screen. (I am moving some items around, so I didn't turn it on for the pic)

    Quoted from sponjey:
Alright, don't laugh, but I'm a newbie to pinside and proud and excited to finally have my very first pinball machine, one of my childhood favs, DE Star Wars 1992! I can't believe I actually have one now, and hope to find my other 2 all-time favs: DE Jurassic Park 1993 and Williams Indiana Jones 1993.
Thanks to GAP for making it happen! I think I can fit 3 more in this space

    Quoted from jorge5240:

DESW and DEJP were my first two games. I loved them both.
One day when I am rich, I will have HEP restore a DESW because it will always have a special place for me because it started my addiction in this crazy hobby.

I've owned over 100 pinballs. DE Jurassic Park is one of my favorites I've ever had.

And, yes, Lego is probably my #1 hobby right now. I teach middle school Technology and my Robotics classes are all based on Lego Mindstorm and Lego Spike Prime, so my classroom is all Lego themed. Which is cool because everything I can’t display at home I just bring to school and display it there (like the 10k piece Eiffel Tower I just got).

    You can too!

    Quoted from PinPickle:

They are all Pearl Jam posters. Have a few other bands around on other walls and in the bathroom. Poster are from shows I have attended.
    [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Pearl jam is one of my all-time favorite bands. If I could only listen to 1 album for the rest of my life, it would be Ten.
