    The Invaders?

    #4906 8 years ago

Sweet, I just finished watching the entire Invaders series (43 episodes). It is a campy series, but I have always liked it as I remember watching it as an 8-year-old kid.

I still chuckle at how an advanced race of aliens can travel to Earth from several galaxies away, but cannot figure out how to mask the deformity of a mutation in their little finger which eventually gives them away.

You should slide that T2 next to the T2 arcade Patofnaud. Awesome collection!

    #4911 8 years ago

    Yes, definitely nice collection pato

    #4912 8 years ago

Thanks. Someday I may end up putting the two T2's together. Probably when I finally get around to restoring my two Midway gun EM's.

Rearranged things again and added some more stuff. Officially no room left until the addition has finally had enough saved up to get done.

Not shown in the pic is my homemade DK cabaret with a 412-1 board and a spinner. Its beside the closest pin. Just enough room left to get to my closet tool and parts boxes.
And just enough to get the glass out of every pin.

    Room has...
    Interflip Dragon
    Pinbot
    Star Trek pro
    Imve
    Elektra
    Custom DK 412-1 vertical cab
    Custom 2019-1 horizontal cocktail.
    Matrix pachinko.

What game did you use to make that coffee table? That must have been a pain in the ass to cut down.

    #4923 8 years ago

It was a Williams Contact that I got dirt cheap because there was no guts in the backbox, so I decided to turn into a coffee table. The playfield is in mint shape and lights up with leds installed. The cutting was not that bad, cutting the coin door was tricky.
    Thanks.

    #4927 8 years ago

    Frolic,

I don't want to be a back seat driver, but I think your event would go better if you had a few pins for people to play.

Yeah me too, my main wall is only 8 games long. But where's the bar?

    #4930 8 years ago

The paint is still drying and I need to put in the LED rope lighting, but this will be my daughters mini-arcade once the floor cures in about a month. Now we just need to move in the custom killer instinct cabinet and buy some pinball tables

Looks neat, how old is she? I hope she likes purple and green.

    #4932 8 years ago

She is 9 and is a pinball fanatic. She is better than I am on most tables, but she doesn't have nudge strength yet. She picked out the colors and designs.

    #4933 8 years ago

Good, she'll love it then. Alot of 9 year old's can beat me too so don't feel bad.

    #4934 8 years ago

My boy put the high score on my afm when he was 9 and that score is still #1 to this day.

Here's my game room(Before and After). I still have a lot of stuff to put on the walls... But I've finally got everything up and running again!
I'd also like to add that the panel walls and sheetrock ceiling was done by the previous owner...

That look cozy. Room for one more game? Some interactive under cab lighting would look cool i there.

Cozy indeed, that's the price I pay for buying a small house built in the 1920's... It's about 11x12. If I finish out the rest of the basement I could probably comfortably fit four more. The extra space next to White Water is awaiting a MMr. As far as under cab lighting, I've been trying to decide if I want to go with interactive or just do some RGB led light strips.
I'm just happy everything is back up, and I can play them again!

    #4940 8 years ago

Interactive is more expensive for sure and can add a lot of "confusing" light especially under all your games in a row. Where as rgb lights that do a nice constant fade between colors is kind of soothing if any of that makes sense. I really dig you lighted table and stool. Where did ya get them?

I LOVE this thread. Took some pics of my "row" last night. Pinsider EagleTG was kind enough to fix almost everything that was not working, and better yet, teach me some things in the process. So now the row LOOKS nice, but more importantly, they all PLAY nice now also, something that hasn't been for quite a long time, so I am very happy. Posted a while ago, but I think one or two things changed. Thanks again to EagleTG for being such a good Pinsider!

I could have spent this money developing my tiny little basement, but I choose pinball machines instead. I think I made the right choice.

I found them on Amazon. They are lumisource LED Bar table, although I just checked and the price has gone up a bit...
They also fade through different colors. They add a lot to the space.

I think T2 is going to be swapped with a Star Trek pro. I will miss T2 though. I wish I could keep them all.

You got a nice line there and as for the tiny basement paint the walls and ceiling flat black. My small basement has the open ceiling like yours and had white walls, when I painted them it made the basement look bigger. To paint my walls and ceiling it cost less then $100 Those white walls really make the room look small.

I don't particularly want to paint anything in the basement. This place is temporary. But, in a couple years I will hopefully have a nice finished basement. My basement would be a nightmare to reorganize for painting. 672 square feet and no garage makes my basement a mess.
