How many sq ft is the room?
Quoted from MustangPaul:How many sq ft total?
About 840 sq ft (the basement, not the whole house ).
Plenty of room for the pool table, drums (potentially two sets now, a right hand and a left hand setup), and some other ideas I am toying with.
Floor getting put down tomorrow...then hopefully finish the ceiling...can't wait to get games in.... Some pics and vid on my Instagram

An 1800 sf game room is a perfect size!

Just 1800 sq ft? That's like room for 3 or 4 pins!!! Haha

The drums and pool table will eat up alot of space so 4 games might be all you have room for.

Now you're just showing off.

That is exactly the point ! I don't want 20+ games. I only need 3-4 as I enjoy other hobbies .

Smart man.

No clue! Its plenty big for me though, it's larger than it looks in the picture, should be able to have 15 pins and some arcades no problem
We finally moved into our new house and I'm using one of the small rooms on the first floor as my temporary game room until my basement gets finished, although I have no clue when that will be.
But for now, here is my room. I just got everything set up last night but still need to level the machines. I need some stuff on the walls, but I'm waiting for my contractor to get back to me with pricing for the basement. If it's in my budget, then there isn't any need to do anything else.
There is room for 2 more.

If it's bigger then 550 (that's what mine is) you'll get more then that in it.

So how big is your basement?
Quoted from MustangPaul:So how big is your basement?
A little over 1,900sq ft.
Ignore the center room that says Bar under the steps. It's actually the unfinished part, but I forgot to change the name. There has been a revision to the bar since I made that plan. I'm going to bring the bar out into the game room a few feet to tie the rooms together. My contractor is supposed to be getting my a price on Friday, so I'll know more then. I'm not sure if I want to tackle such a big project myself. I'm "alright" around the house, but my dad offered to help and he's done just about everything.

Very nice.
Quoted from the_one:But having 1900 sqft. for only 3 pins isn't that little bit to luxurious?
I need room to grow!
Quoted from Kcbbq13:Not really my game room, but this is next to the room that pins will end up in... Built this over the weekend with my 10 year old.20150804_113308.jpg
I'm in OPKS every 3 months....now I know where to play next time I'm in town.

Now that's my kind of game room. I hope you have a 10ft. ceiling in down there. Would that be GREAT.

Once the table is gone I'd love to see you and your lady having a nice candle light dinner while you stand at your games.

That's just the wide angle lens I think.
Lol The bathtub's for my other girl, Randy. She's a red-eared slider. Been with me for 20 years so she stays.

They're all good. Wide angle impression

What is the deal with the vids on the wall?
Quoted from pinnyheadhead:What is the deal with the vids on the wall?
Interesting...never seen that before. Is it to maximize space in some way? it looks like the monitors are 'behind' the wall?
Quoted from pinnyheadhead:What is the deal with the vids on the wall?
Seems dangerous if someone leaned on them too much.
