    Quoted from Jean-Luc-Picard:

Yeah, I wonder what I will find when I start breaking walls down lol.

Aren't you glad you opted not to meet the seller?

    Quoted from toyotaboy:

I don't know why anyone decides wood paneling is a good idea, I suppose it's just laziness.

It all depends on the application I ripped out the old knotty pine paneling in my basement and replaced it with drywall. That being said I would love to have something like this one day if I can afford it. Love the look when its done right and with top notch materials.

I was having flashbacks when I saw his paneling.

Hey now! I used it in my game room (see several pics earlier in this thread) because I like it a lot better than just paint. And people seemed to like my game room.

I doubt with your collection they were looking at the walls

I meant "just" wood paneling against studs with nothing behind it, and I mean the crappy looking 70's wood paneling.

    #3457 9 years ago
    Quoted from dothedoo:

I doubt there's a baseball game on that tape

haha, yeah. I am curious to see what kind of 70's porn they had. Now I just need to find a VCR lol

But the good news is, all the wood panels and crap is now ripped out.

    #3458 9 years ago

Just got done making some new additions with the racers and a shuffle alley. Crammed in there nicely!

Well, we ripped out all the hack job cabinets. Under one of the base boards..... I found bloody panties!!! yeah.... Awkward!

    #3460 9 years ago

Uggh.....that's disgusting. You might want to research all the previous owners. Sounds like one is a child molestor.

Thanks. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get all the other pins inside from the garage without my wife noticing.

    #3475 9 years ago

Wvpinball----I worship your game room, superfun!

    #3476 9 years ago

WVpinball, you clearly need a friend... PM me! haha... what a great gameroom!

    #3477 9 years ago

My game room started off as a bedroom with a small walk-in closet. And a sledge hammer...
    IMG_20141112_190440_107.jpgIMG_20141112_190440_107.jpg
Then I removed and rebuilt the rear wall for another small chunk of space. I didn't want to dip into my pinball fund so I reused to old wood where I could.
    IMG_20141122_182215_470.jpgIMG_20141122_182215_470.jpg
The interior wall was loadbearing to I used hurricane clips to attach new ceiling joist runs to a new beam I put in and bolted them to the rafters.
    IMG_20141130_090838_524.jpgIMG_20141130_090838_524.jpg
After a bit of sheetrock, paint and time here is the (almost) complete result:
    IMG_20150110_170601_213.jpgIMG_20150110_170601_213.jpg
    IMG_20150110_165125_959.jpgIMG_20150110_165125_959.jpg
Now I just have to figure out how to get this beast upstairs and set it next to POTO...

Dang that's a lot of work but you did it yourself and saved a lot of money. Looks like only room for 3 games but it's a nice movie room too with a BIG screen. Well done.

Very classy. I was in Frederic back in '07 an made a video program of the 8th Annual Frederic Celtic Festival. My good buddy Joe is head of the Scottish clan. It's a 3 dvd set, I had 4 camera crews and we covered everything. The big bagpipe band really is some great video and the Scottish games are really something to see. The video sold rather well.

My TMNT is a prototype with a captive on the top left of the playfield. Only one other that I know exists.

Yeah yeah... I feel like covering up all that Steelers stuff after blowing the season... If you're going to lose, you might as well angle for a draft pick...

Well how small a world could that be? The Atlas is really my Dad's. Some of the plastic has started to burn through so a while ago I went on search of parts and machines and couldn't find that anyone at all had one of these or one in a 'graveyard' to get parts from! Three in DC Metro is crazy!

Sounds like you guys should get together and have plastic sets made. Split 3 ways it might not be to bad.

I bought an Atlas early last year. The playfield is in pretty good shape but all of the plastics were warped pretty bad and the graphics were flaking off. I have been looking for someone else that had one to see if I could get a decent scan of the slingshot plastics and the center plastic. Any chance you help me out, no hurry.

Awaiting their turn in the lime light of the upstairs gameroom. I had a downstairs gameroom too that fit 8 more but had to get rid of my paid storage space so now at maximum capacity and downstairs gameroom is now storage for a while until a sell a few games to make room again. Only room to set up 12 maximum at a time. I rotate them around as they all are keepers. Each has their dance in the sun. =)

Will definitely see what I can do. Let me see what is intact and not. Perhaps we can also see what this other guy has in Frederick as well. WildWilly's.... does he have a pinside ID?

No he's not on pinside that is his only game. he's had one for many years and we found the second one at the York show a few years ago. pinball rescue does have the plastics on their list to be made so if enough people email them maybe they will get bumped up the list.
