closed Sundays?! That's some bullshit right there!

closed Sundays?! That's some bullshit right there!

no bullshit..i leave sunday open for people who live by me and other pinheads to brink their wife and kids to play until about dinner time..i let most thinks slide for my crew on Saturday night and believe me they eat drink and play pins like rock stars..but come sunday I clean earl put on Disney channel on radio, fill pop machine .make pop corn and leave mostly dads with their kids play in a safe ,clean no swearin type deal so they can have time alone as these guys work like they party so time is slim for them..just had kids x-mass party..my friends go home, their wives got time alone to rest with out kids.so they let my friends come back..this not bullshit my friend..this is small insurance price I pay so I don't play alone...by the way good point -out as the real pinheads come back over at about 8.30 with no other people, not even really talking to each other or share games..until 11 its selfish pinball so we each try to get to be better players..hey! this sign from your part of the county not mine.lol-thanks!

hi all just a few photos of our pole barn arcade..i know not the best photos and im even worse at playing pins..we have seating for 20,lights everywhere, music pumped thru juke box remote units..rubber mats are easy on the legs and people can come inside with dirty winter snow feet swearing like a sailor with a smoke hangin out your mouth and this no problem as its in the barn not the house.we run a 9x12 ho train inside for the kids, board games under booth seats-joe

    That leaderboard is awesome.

Like the leader board idea. I've been trying to think of a way to make things a little more competitive. I think I'll try that!

I tbink you were joking back, but just wanted to clarify that my bullshit comment was just meant as a wise crack</blockqu a I never thought otherwise..i just comment as people do wonder why that is on sign in somebody home arcade..im sure if you were here we could pull off a number of pinball scam jokes on people.one last comment at the risk of wild racist attack on me..got a friend who come here once a week..he own small Mexican restaurant.busts his ass .gets tired of hearing everything from customers etc.does not want to be important owner or anything over here...so we get some guys once in a while say to me who do we see about this game over here not working or I did not get double bonus like this real arcade or something..get a clue we don't charge so you can not get ripped off...anyway one night guy complain to me about something not to bright,,with out a hitch my friend walk over and say he is Mexican joe..the company service tech ..my friend is Mexican so o just listen as he go into some crazy ass thing how he works hard to keep machines up and we treat him badly because of his race. and just crazy ass half Spanish half English scream fest how hes is going to quit etc...this other guy start to say hey sorry I did not know you work here ..tell my friend he will just play other machine...from that night on we had joe our Mexican on site tech..his name will be on our next menu board as Mexican joe repair man..maps upon request...lol.. this my friends request..we are still laughing at the look on that new players face..just priceless..so nothing out of bounds for us as far as joking my friend and I fully hope it will not stop..its just pinball,,its just for fun.so thanks!

Do you like yours? Where did you get it? I host a 30 man tournament every year, and I need three ten person tables that can fold up if possible.

I do like mine. Got it on amazon when they had a free shipping deal. I think I only paid like 175 bucks with free shipping. Felt top, drink holders, and pretty sturdy. Still not anything like a nice wooden table, but it would be perfect for a tourney. I have about 8 games a year here so its perfect, as folded up it hides in the corner most of the time.

this is what i did today.
took the brick wall panels out of the sun room (no more spa) and made a little corner for my restored playboy in my gameroom... i think it fits well with the theme.

Updated the art on my walls!
picked up a great Zig Zag backglass, a Time Line backglass, NOS Pengo marquee, Mappy marquee, reproduction Marble Madness glass marquee (my only repro), my fave Bubble Bobble marquee, and my Genie and Space Riders playfields.
Oh, and added Target Alpha! Not a long-term keeper, but definitely fun.

Sweet wall cover, cait001! Gotta love that FutureSpa backglass. You can let me know when you're tired of that one. In the meantime, would love to see some pulled-back shots to see your set-up. (Did I miss it on one of the earlier 67 pages of posts?)

SOOO.... I am very excited to start designing my game room. Just got the keys to a new house. Here I sit in this empty house, watching movies and drinking good beer while waiting for builders to arrive in the morning. So I decided to do some mild demo at about 4am in the future "gameroom" overflow garage. This garage will be ripped out soon. But funny surprises. And glad I have hand sanitizer. Anyone have a VCR? I dont think this is baseball! lol

    and

    #3443 4 years ago

Ya never know what you'll find when you move into a house. I still have 3 SVHS VCR's and a few hundred tapes, some I made dating back to 1981.

    #3444 4 years ago

    eeew....that was behind the sheetrock?

Yeah, I wonder what I will find when I start breaking walls down lol.

Hope for about 30 old movie marque posters. People used to use them for wall insulation.
