Quoted from Fast-Ed:I wish you would have contacted me. If you didn't have much time at least we could have met one another. Are you working nearby in the future? Ed
For sure, I get around.
I fix/repair CCTV, access, fire, burg & automation systems in a resi & small biz environment so I cover a huge area but won't know until a day or two before so keep some burritos in the freezer lol.

On another note... This thread is like a mega enabler for me to stop applying money towards the mortgage & start applying it towards the basement lol. My game room is very cookie cutter in terms of decor & materials but this thread makes me want to get creative with the color palette & materials. I guess if I'm not selling the house that's ok, right enablers?

Boy Mike that lineup looks similar LOL !
Quoted from blondetall:Kaneda, did you get Felix from PinballSmith, or are there 2 in private hands now? I didn't think he was selling his, just wondering. It is very cool to own one. I played one at DisneyQuest last October.
I haven't updated the gameroom, but I did do a little decorating in the laundry/bathroom and got a custom bathroom sign since we're sticking with the alien/sci-fi theme with "Area 42 Arcade." Also added a cool decal on the door to the second pinball room. That room has Frankenstein, Jurassic Park, and soon Predator, so I thought the warning was appropriate.image-42.jpg 240 KB

You need a door covering like the last picture from wwwthinkgeek.com. They have several diff. ones to choose from. The original post from blondetall is on pg 47
Quoted from blondetall:ThinkGeek, see link in my post above.
Thanks for the great idea Blondy! I'm already talking to a contractor about making a REAL door like that for my Cigar Room!
I think need to talk to ThinkGeek about getting a referral fee or commission... They might as well sponsor my gameroom since most of the stuff down there is from them.

Send pictures with a nice note and see what happens.

Hey you go 3 great games...I have 2 of them. You could fit one more in there from the looks of it.
Here is my newest addition to my gameroom. This is my latest restoration. An op had drilled out the original panel and switched it over to a Tekken Tag Tournament. He also removed the original Q Sound amp. The monitor in it had been left on with vertical collapse so after repairing the chassis there was a nice burn line across the center of the tube.
Made a new custom control panel and a member on KLOV had the scans for the control panel and marquee. Put another WG monitor in that I had here and found a Q Sound amp to bring it back to its stereo goodness. The artwork was added last night and the only things left are the custom bezel I am waiting for and T-molding on the control panel. I have Super SF2, Super SF2 Turbo, Street Fighter Hyper Fighting, Marvel vs Capcom, Xmen vs Street Fighter, and Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter boards for it. Along with my STTNG Pin, this is one game that will probably never leave.

Nice! I always like the world map on the control panel. Very cool...and looks to be in phenomenal condition.
Never should have opened this thread....Now not only do I feel inadequate but I also need to start house shopping......anyone know a good real estate agent in the Lafayette, Indiana area haha.

I ordered the airlock based on your previous post. Finishing off the area below the stairs to the basement as a "pirate space ship" for my little guys. Blackboard paint for the walls, some metal prop pirate keys, and the airlock door will be perfect on the tallest wall. Need to get some control panel stuff still.

I wouldn't leave the house if that was in my basement! Great looking room with an awesome collection!

I don't leave the house....spend all my time in the basement trying to make them look better.

Very nice line-up.

How did you get around the youtube copyright song policy? I just had a radio playing in the background while I took a video of my game room and youtube banned it.

crap....I didn't think about that. Maybe Golden Earring thought it was a cool video and called off the YouTube cops.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Looks nice. How many more ya gonna get?
At least one more. Doing the ceiling could be fun.

Just wow… Can only dream of ever owning that many!!
How do you take the glass off with the pins being so close in facing one another?
best collection I've ever seen..
Quoted from Kneissl:At least one more. Doing the ceiling could be fun.
I have some on my ceiling but want to re-do it so I can light up the inserts with a constant light not blinking and be able to swing them down for cleaning the floor joists above them of cob webs and bugs.
Hated to have these rug rats playing them, but they had a blast. Might have been their first time playing pinball too.
The older guys were fine, but the little tykes were hanging on the shooter rods or flipping continually.
Overall they were a huge hit.
The twins in the middle, playing Wolverine, knew all about the X-men characters.
Quoted from rai:little tykes were hanging on the shooter rods
Yup, first tyke to play my machine hung on the rod and bent it. This should be the first instruction to any little tykes before they play.
Quoted from NPO:Well, after those fancy dancy rooms, here's a rather humbling video and pics...
Those are huge gaps between your games. You'll be shoring those up in no time.
Here's a disaster picture of my gameroom from this past week......had some water issues this winter and I found out why (never had a drop before). You can see RCT on the right (2nd pic) and the Rush 2049's in the background (also 2nd pic). Thats the bowling alley with all the stuff on it

Dude if I had all those games I would no longer be married.
