Quoted from rai:Thanks, if only I was a better player. I got the games, now I got to master them.
I hear ya there. I have 10 on line and feel the same way.

Quoted from John_I:Yeah I have been planning to get some! I might move my main LED blacklight bar down low too.
I'd keep it high, out of peoples way. I have mine screwed to the underside of each game, no way are people going to break them.
My little getaway from wife and kids, even though my eldest (6yr old) is currently loving the mame setup.
It's a single garage in my house. Gets bloody hot in the summer and nice and cold in the winter. No insulation makes for these types of room temps.
The consoles that are with the TV are a NES, Segamega Drive and Xbox. It's cool that I can sit down and have a bash of these while my girls sit on the stools playing my mame. Good to share my obsession with them. Gives us something in common at such a young age.

Looks nice, what's on the other side of the "garage"? Room for the car?
I've been looking for an Ikea Deltolf cabinet to display some stuff for my pin garage, but ikea doesn't sell them anymore. Any one know where I can get one???
Quoted from MustangPaul:Looks nice, what's on the other side of the "garage"? Room for the car?
Cars are under the carport. The only priority I told my wife when we bought the house is I need room for my toys. This is the room.....now I need a bigger room
Just out of curiosity, do black lights have the same effects on game cabinet art as regular UV exposure over time?
Quoted from GetTheJackpot:Just out of curiosity, do black lights have the same effects on game cabinet art as regular UV exposure over time?
No, they are way to weak for that. The wrong wavelength (I think) also.
Quoted from domijr:Sweet, nice setup Aurich. I'd like to get a MAME someday.
I find them more fun to build than play to be honest, I don't have as much patience for arcade games anymore I guess. This one is really nice, vertical CRT arcade monitor, lot of high end parts, custom paint and decals etc, which is why I keep it. Just don't have the heart to let it go, but I almost never play it.
Quoted from TomT:Not a pic of the whole gameroom but definity my favorite, my 9mo old son helping me out with the latest addition a LAH

Cool pic of you and son, nice big room too, looks like there's more to it.

They still have them on the website and I have seen them in store fairly recently.

They are really cool shelves for not a ton of money. I have one for my pinball trophies...

Thanks dude!!!
Quoted from Aurich:My garage. Going to move the Star Wars cab and MAME cab to opposite wall, put a couple more pins in. Get some modern Sterns to balance out collection.

Love the Scared Stiff with the color DMD. Nice set up.
Quoted from fuko:Some pics of the current lineup
Wow that looks great! Even the floor reminds me of growing up in the 70s. Like the pachinko banners but didn't see any in your game room.
Nice fuko. I love seeing my Shadow translite in big lineups, you have it between a couple great ones.
I actually have three of them. This one is a bit of a...project. plan to sand it and respray. I bought it primarily for the parts but I cant bear to part it out. I managed to pick up a bunch of NOS stuff for these games while I could a few years ago. I just need some time to work on it.

Lucky guy ! For sure I will import one to Europe one day or another.

Holy crap! Varkon AND Inferno??
NICE collection there sir!
Chris
Wonderful mood lighting, carpet and room in general fuko. For me it's not only the games in a room- but the atmosphere the room creates.
Quoted from SteveFury:For me it's not only the games in a room- but the atmosphere the room creates.
I didn't want my gr to look like the rest of the house that's why I went with the "arcade" look for my room....so it looks like I went somewhere to play.
Quoted from luckymoey:Like the pachinko banners but didn't see any in your game room.
I have a few pachinkos that are in storage for now. They are fun for parties, but so damn loud
Quoted from Aurich:I love seeing my Shadow translite in big lineups
I applaud your work. I didn't want a Shadow until I saw your translite, and now that I have one I love it.
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:Holy crap! Varkon AND Inferno??
Thanks. There are a few other rare titles hiding in the background of those pics....
Quoted from SteveFury:For me it's not only the games in a room- but the atmosphere the room creates.
I agree 100%!
Quoted from MustangPaul:Ohhhh a sit down Star Wars game. NICE.
Thanks! I just got my monitor working. It's beautiful to sit down and hear the Star Wars theme and all the fantastic sounds coming from the rear speakers.
"Red Five I'm going in!"
Quoted from fuko:I applaud your work. I didn't want a Shadow until I saw your translite, and now that I have one I love it.
This is my favorite compliment ever, because it means people are enjoying a game that I love.
Quoted from fuko:Some pics of the current lineup
Oh man, you've got the varkon buried in with the arcade games. Did you do that on purpose so when guests come over they're like "Hmm, never heard of this arcade game.. oh wait! it's pinball?! guh?"
Quoted from ThatGuy:Thanks! I just got my monitor working. It's beautiful to sit down and hear the Star Wars theme and all the fantastic sounds coming from the rear speakers.

Wish I had the room for that one.
Here's my gamesroom, from left to right. Zaccaria arcade cab with Gamesfamily board, Revenge From Mars, Jungle Lord, Wipeout, NASCAR (actually a Stern Grand Prix) and Jacks Open (with custom art on the sides).
Sammy Extreme Hunting and a repro Donkey Kong with a 60 in 1 (they've been moved to the other side of the door since that pic was taken.
Great pics MJW and BLUE95. You both have good taste in games. Played many of these games growing up and have fond memories. Jacks Open at the skating rink with a dented coin door from one too many skate kicks and playing High Speed and losing a few bucks to a cute girl that was a much better pinball player than me. Those were good times....

are those divo hats!?
Quoted from Meph:My game room is pretty limited in size but I can't complain since I didn't have one just a few months ago. STTNG is my only pin so far and I am hoping to pickup a couple more this year.

Where's you find that Tempest poster? I've never seen that. I'd love to get one.
Quoted from Leeps:Just moved a couple months ago. Basement is still a work in progress but it's coming along nicely!

Nice large game room. If that room were empty how many pins could put in it? Ever figure it out? I'd say 40-50.
Quoted from Aurich:Thin Mint LE.
Will there be a "Harass People Passing by Mode"?
