Cool, I want this rug!
Can’t seem to find it on their website. Can you please share the name or carpet description?
Couple new additions to the game room!
Revamped the Pintastic logo, print, cnc’d and mounted mid-stairwell.

Joined the show us your door club with a custom build. Was hoping the lights of the games would glow through, but it turned out a bit too frosted.

Framed flyer posters with a couple details. Got a blank one on the end where the old lady immediately asked ‘well what, you settin’ yourself up for another pin?’ Seed planted

Cool! Is it sad that I thought it said "Butt hole" , not one but twice?
I like that one. I initially tried to order a similar one, but the order was cancelled due to no inventory. I went with this one:

Nope, it’s great if you say it every time!
Pulled it from The Good Place. Pretty clever, I love it.
Quoted from Bundy:Cool bumper car.
Is that wallpaper as sideart on the VR-pin?
Thanks.
yes it is. i thought it would make a pretty good "neutral" design.
Quoted from DanMarino:Moved 4 of my 6 machines into the unfinished part of the basement. Trying to figure out the best layout for doors and walls.

Doors can really screw up a nice bank of pins!
Any of you guys have a Mrs Pac Man / Galaga anniversary edition in your rooms? The joystick on mine after 3 years is messed up and I have to replace it. I ordered this
https://www.arcadeshop.com/i/392/joystick-4-way-red-ball.htm
Was wondering how easy/hard it is to replace? Looks to me just plug and play and 4 screws on the panel in the corners need to be removed to get to it.

If you can fit them pocket doors are great.

Was really hoping to be finished with new gameroom last weekend, but we are very close after another 18 hours of work. Will finish the ceiling trim, corners and then flooring. One more weekend of work, then the toys come in. Sneak peek…

"No Hunting" ?
C'mon man, make pinball more adventures!

Duct work prevented the bathroom door from swinging in. Didn't want a door swinging out into the room so pocket door for the win. Used one upstairs in the half bath I created as well

I’m learning more about carpentry all the time. I didn’t know what a pocket door was. Very cool idea and great utility for tight spaces. Nice job.

I had that sign above Big Buck Hunter when I owned it.
Our game room construction is advancing. Looks like the footprint will be 17.5 feet x 12 feet. Some doors are messing things up, so I think I will be able to get a line-up of 5 machines along the long wall. Then I will also be able to get a 6th machine in a corner. Might add some seating/stools and a high top table instead. We are also having a recessed refrigerator in one wall.
It was time to ditch the god-awful pink walls and yellow ceiling in my recently coverted gameroom (remnants from prior owners). You'd think repainting a room would go fast? Ugh. This is a weeks worth of prep and painting. Room looks totally different now. Biggest change is a proper, white ceiling which doesn't cast ugly yellow light everywhere.
Had to paint in 2 parts, as moving the pins out of the room wasn't really an option. I was reminded how painting textured ceilings sends paint splatter everywhere.
Acoustics in this room benefit from sound-absorbing wall panels, as you'll see below.
Here's some before, during, and after pics.

Wow, that was pink! We had one wall of pink I my daughter's room when she was younger. Took several coats of Kilz to fix that!

Paint has come a long way the last few decades. Combined paint/primer, etc. This was basically a one-coat job with some light touchup. Amazing, actually. Paint today is basically the consistency of pudding.

Not too shabby. What color/brand paint is that?
Quoted from DiabloRush:Paint today is basically the consistency of pudding.
Lol. It’s true. Quality paint and primer is thick these days. Having painted several rooms in different condos and houses I’ve lived in, it always sounds like a better idea to paint a room yourself, until you start. Then you quickly realize it’s a huge job, and soon you despise paint. I did, anyway. My wife and I rented a condo in FL years ago and it was this salmon color we didn’t like. So we decided to paint it a neutral stone color ourselves. The condo was probably 1,200 sq ft. with high cathedral ceilings. It took 79 months to paint. And we only lived there 2 years.
Quoted from DiabloRush:And a fun really-before pic, this was a large closet that I converted.[quoted image]
The rug really tied the room together, and works in both. Nice..
Looking where to buy a nice pub table and maybe 3 chairs for my game room ..any stores you guys can recommend? Thx
Quoted from briyau15:Not too shabby. What color/brand paint is that?
Behr. Home Depot's main brand. We used Behr Premium Plus for this job.
Quoted from polishedball:Not much has changed over the last 6 months added some artwork and a pinball. Still loving this space. [quoted image][quoted image]

Seems I have a later build than you do, I was met with this when I opened the coin door. So apparently on mine there are 4 screws in the far corners of the joystick panel that you take out and the whole thing just comes off. Nice and easy.
