Nex Machina - it doesn't get better than Eugene + Housemarque.
On that note, check out their other game Resogun on PS4/PS5. It's a proper remake of Defender and it's fantastic.

Yeah I played the hell out of that and Alien nation. Shame Housemarque said they are going to stop making these types of games because of low sales. Sucks!
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Question for you guys. What do you use to hang your skateboards? Thanks
Google has some options;
That is so lame, Dirk and i are mates and i was trying to help start the discussion by showing options.
But you do you Blackjacker
Quoted from PinPickle:These are fantastic

Look great and cheap!
Thanks. Led me right to those skate ptych hangers.

Fishing line through truck holes, hang on nail

Actually thought decorative plate hangers would work. They didn't.

And here’s a shot at The office game room. Surprisingly, all of our employees have started to play pinball and enjoy it! At first they were a little hesitant to start a game - but I’d find them playing when I came back from lunch or from a short trip from the office. Now, they all feel pretty comfortable stepping up and playing a game or two to clear the mind a few times a day. Of course…I led by example!! Fun stuff.

I will say that I replaced all my GC scores since moving games to the office. I never realized how much more effective my nudging and cabinet man handling skills can be on a cement floor than carpet…
Quoted from ExSquid:Yeah I played the hell out of that and Alien nation. Shame Housemarque said they are going to stop making these types of games because of low sales. Sucks!
Ok i guess im boomer, but what are these games!!!! This was my life in the 80s and need some updating...
Xbox X

Use a black zip tie through the the top 2 holes and hang on a hook. Cost 35 cents and no one has been able to figure out how I did it. Buying aparatuses is silly expensive.
Quoted from I-Closed-Wolskis:I have done the skateboard lamp thingy, does work well

That’s awesome! I got back on my board a lot this summer after giving up skating about 25 years ago. I just cruise around, but I do love skateboards and had fun building mine again. Oh, and I plan to hang some decks on the walls of my new gameroom when it’s finished, hopefully this month! There, I tied it into the gameroom topic.

Im probably close in age of you and my life was Robotron and the like in the 80s as well. These are from the same guy who made Defender and Robotron. They are downloaded games on the PS4 and 5.

Are you looking for new employees?
Hello, can you do, or do you have a photo of your gameroom without those playfields in front of the mirror wall to see the effect of a mirror wall in that kind of setup, since am thinking to do that to my gameroom.
( well, am thinking to do with mirrors in each side to make an effect of infinity corridor, to see if it looks nice.
thanks

This is definitely one of my favorite threads to visit! So great seeing all the awesome game rooms. So many cool designs and ideas. I finally got around to taking some pics of my family cave, ha! I ran out of room in the main room of my basement so I had to move the weight room and turn that into a side gameroom instead. Kinda wish I would have finished it before filling it up but oh well, someday maybe

Another game room that I wouldn't be able to afford in two lifetimes. Awesome setup. How did you do that in the ceiling of your theater?
What's that Tetris style cocktail called? I saw them once before but forgot to look into them.
Cancel, Atari pong, found it.
Quoted from CoachBacca:Another game room that I wouldn't be able to afford in two lifetimes. Awesome setup. How did you do that in the ceiling of your theater?
Thanks man...the star ceiling was a bit of a pain. I took 2" foam panels and used spray adhesive for the black fabric. Then randomly stuck 800 strands of fiber optic thru them. It was a pain and took me 40 hours to do it but thought it turned out great

Do you mean the black and white pong table? Or there's a pacman battle royale and a 60 in 1 little cocktail table?

The atari. I have contact with someone here who want's to sell one, but i don't know if it would get any use.
i have air hockey here and a twin shooter, stand up multi etc, but they only ever get used when other peoples kids are here, not my thing.
just wondered if this would appeal to a non arcade guy.

Most seem to enjoy it but it's definitely more heavily played by the kids I'd say
Hey folks, I finished up my arcade / theater and made some changes since posting a while back. The last change will be adding LOTR in place of High Speed but that won't be for a little while.
There's 4 movie themes throughout the arcade, Jurassic Park, Tolkien's Middle Earth, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean. Pirates was my favorite ride at Disney as a child so lots of great memories for me in some of the props. Hope all enjoy and keep posting your rooms and progress pics. I love seeing all the cool ideas and designs!

Amazing! Love how not only do you have the themes down in props and signs, you have the pins to go with them! I am a big fan of all 4 of those themes as well, your game room / theater looks like an awesome place to hang out, nicely done.

Nice how you synced WOZ and Hobbit to show the JJP logo at the same time.

This is an amazing set up! So many pins.... so much room!
Out of curiosity, are those SVS Subs and audio in the theater? The starfield looks great as well.

I had no clue that was like that! Not intentional. I was just walking around snapping pics and just noticed that after you mentioned it

Thanks man! Appreciate it! Your setup is extremely well done! Very nice! Love the themes
Yeah I have svs pb ultra subs but all the speakers are revels
I'd have the most killer game room if I had money. I built mine with nothing and it shows. There will never be a row of 10 games but as long as I have a pool table, dart board, a pinball machine or two and music, I'm more then happy. I'll live vicariously thru you pinheads with the killer collections and gamerooms. Keep the pics coming!
Man, some of you have your sh*t together on these game rooms. Wow
My all time favorite thread. Nobody bitching about CCr LE delivery. Whether Bond 60 is a rip-off, turning into insults. If Halloween is ever going to get better.
Its like a detox.
