Thanks very much for the kind words. I know my setup is pretty modest compared to what I’ve seen in this thread. I’m not very good, but I do love playing pinball and I do love pinball machines. I love mechanical things in general and all my favorite games are kinetic. I feel very fortunate to be able to play in here.

My humble game room. I still need to decorate, and have the other side of the room to fill up in the future. I can hold 4 more pins and a Super Chex hockey.

    Quoted from red-line:

I used led UV strip lights. if you want different colors, regular led strips will do great. I lined the edge of the underside of each machine, about an inch from the edge. If you want a different color under each machine, I'd think you'd need short individual strips for each machine. I bought 20 ft strips and it perfectly covered 2 machines. Run from the back left corner, to the front left, to the front right, to the back right corner, and then run it over to the back left of the next machine.
The black light messes with the camera so it's impossible to show what it looks like IRL, it's not so blue in person.

Where’d you get the rug from?! Usually see full carpet installs like that which look awesome, but I’ve just been wanting a rug to go on my vinyl wood floors.

I think I got it from Wayfair, but it looks like webstaurant store has it as well. It looks great in person. And yeah I also have vinyl plank flooring

Hey, don't worry about the cord from the sign, your set up looks great! I'm totally OCD and that cord doesn't enter into my line of sight 2nd, 3rd or 50th. Looks fine!

    #20780 1 year ago

You don’t need a new outlet if you use a cord cover with possibly some paint.

I could do that. However, the other side of the wall is a storage area. It’s easy to access so it won’t be difficult to run another outlet.

    Quoted from zerbam:

I don’t really know. The house was 95% done when I bought it. It could have been?

that was my wife's uncles company........they had a patent on those forms

Meet Uncle Al, the latest addition to my game room. Life-size sitting "gangster" Al Capone fiberglass prop, holding 20 grand (stage) cash. Sitting next to a stack of c-notes. The guy was strictly business in real life.

I'd been searching for this prop for years - saw it outside of a Chicago bar in the 80s - and finally found it in California. Smoking a cigar, brandishing a big gold ring and he weighs about 100 lbs.

Moving to a nice beach house in a few months. I wont have the biggest gameroom but it will be very nice. If all goes to plan going to do the real brick/mortar facade on one wall. Neon signs, pics etc....prob 5-6 pins, 2 vids, whiskey barrel table and my vintage round top coke machine. Will be on second floor which makes it a pain getting pins up there but it will help me limit trading Question is we are getting a very nice large covered porch on the back so I have the option to have some stuff outside during warmer months. Anyone have any part of their gameroom outside? Going to have a pub table and trying to decide what else can go outside just off the gameroom.

I think biggest design issues for most gameroom's is how to handle corners. Put all games in a row, put one angled out in corner, put vids in corner, or do 2 on small wall and 4 on larger wall.

I was going to say an all weather ping pong table, but the absolute minimum space is 11'X17', and that is tight, so that space would not work. Maybe take your pub table idea and expand it to an outdoor bar like a Tiki or Beach Bar - definitely would work great on the beach! Two internet pics below.

Actually, Kasco Untouchable is vintage 1971 (originally thought to be 1974). There's a paucity of information available about Kasco games. They are among the most sophisticated and coolest EM arcade games ever made.

Below are 2 video demos of my game, the first demonstrating overall gameplay and the second of which shows the gangster car close up. When a successful shot strikes the photoelectric cell on the rear of the gangster car, the green gangster momentarily collapses/ducks.

My modest 3. Promised the wife I wouldn't have any more than 3...so I just have to pick which one to move if I want a new one. I highly recommend PINWOOFER. Installed one in my Deadpool and it's a real game changer. It's soo good that it literally makes your other games seem less fun afterwards.
