    Quoted from palmab03:

how do you like the Megatouch? I'm thinking of getting one sometime soon due to nostalgia , but haven't looked into whether I could just play everything on there on an ipad easily enough.

It's a must have. It gets played more than anything when I have people over.

As a proud Canadian, NO Thank you. If that ever happens I'll move to Europe or Central America.

As an American, I'm not sure if I should be insulted by this comment :/

Finished the lights yesterday and took advantage of having the dance floor up to hang my mirror ball.

Mario Kart is a personal all time favorite video game, but does it get old quick with the GP?

    #20159 1 year ago
    Quoted from mmuglia:

Over the past 6 months I've completely refreshed my collection. It started with GNR in December, then a HUO CV and AC/DC. In the past month I've added Godzilla premium, Rush premium, and Deadpool premium all NIB. It was difficult selling some of the games I had, but it was time to freshen up the gameroom.

    Quoted from BorgDog:

offer accepted, in a couple weeks this is the new forever pinball room, currently 15'x25'ish with possibility to take out a wall or two for minor expansion. a separate pinball workroom approx 12x12 just down the hall. straight shot half flight of stairs to basement from back door. fireplace currently not functional, will look into putting in gas insert at some point in time.
edit: ceiling height is 7'4", all my current machines easily fit, is there anything I'd have trouble with?
    [quoted image]

Got the game room all gutted, wired, painted, most of the floor in, and finally have all the kids in the same room! Need to add the décor and stuff, but that will come in time. I have the string lights on when playing and you should be able to make out the 6 light fixtures on a seperate switch I can turn on to work on things and such.

    PXL_20220531_214020092 (resized).jpgPXL_20220531_214020092 (resized).jpg

I can fit at least 3 more to the right of TNA, especially once Star Light is back together and I squeeze things over.

    PXL_20220531_214132929 (resized).jpgPXL_20220531_214132929 (resized).jpg

and if I squeeze these together a little bit I can fit 2 more to the left of Jumping Jack, there is a bumpout in the wall and the door on that side.

    PXL_20220531_214140728 (resized).jpgPXL_20220531_214140728 (resized).jpg

Of course if I buy that many more machines the only place to sit will be on the fireplace hearth.

42" screen portrait orientation, sticks about 9" down into the main cab. LG now makes a funky monitor that is almost perfectly sized for a wedgehead, https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-28mq780-b

    Quoted from dantebean:

Maybe a little rude calling them "little dolls" and asking if the collector (OP) gets them out and plays with them. Unless you are a complete recluse, some people do display retro toys. Not that far fetch of a concept. Usually toys that belong to a boys are considered "toys" and not "dolls". Kinda too late to backpetal at this point.

Irony he has comic book stuff painted on his walls ( which is completely badass by the way) different strokes I guess.

I display a bowling tophy I got as a kid!

What has mural art got to do with it? And how is that ironic? The art is directly from the pinball machines.

If you noticed I delete it pretty quickly cuz I'm not trying to drag down this thread. But the irony is you have cartoons painted on your walls that's it. Pinball machines or not, other adults walk in they see cartoons on your wall just like you walk in and see someone's dolls. Anyway I think your place is badass that's why I deleted it not trying to get into it. Y'all have some nice rooms take it easy.

I find them very different. If I had to pick, it would be Earthshaker, but Mousin' is good fun and the ball lock traps are super cool. I like the music on Mousin Around. it's really upbeat and catchy. That said, Earthshaker is just plain awesome. Great sounds, music, and gameplay.

    Both are staying.

Your room looks fantastic, I like the more modern look with pins in it. Actually I REALLY like the cave look as well that many people have but for me I can't ever do that. My room for pins is basically a bonus room with seating, TV and a dining table all with modern furniture so I need to place pins in that decor. Its nice to see other people with similar design as well.

Do you have any night shots in this room and how the pins look in the dark?

Not completely. Here's the picture I use for splash screen prior to live streams on Twitch (which I haven't done in awhile)

Also found a picture of the basement empty from around the time I bought the house. Basically standing in the same place

Took the wall out between my game room and the wife’s tanning room to make room for more games that are coming. Now I can play pool again to still have to redo the floors n wall. She might have been a little bit upset about taking part of her room.

My wife wanted a "reading corner" when we finished the basement into a game room. Over the years, the games grew and the reading room was moved to a more suitable location.
