I like em fast and brutal! No room for toppers though…
    [quoted image]

Oh man, I love Wipeout. My dad brought one home in the 90s and our basement was the coolest. I loved the schwartezeneger accent on the call outs. Why don’t you call your mother and have her help you ski.

    Quoted from ChipScott:

My pinball bar/game room is coming along.
We had a bunch of folks over for a Christmas party and the Mrs organized a Santa for the party... After joining me and my buddy and trying his hand at the Iron Maiden, I stuck him on the EM and he loved it! Haha.
    [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

That’s a sweet setup. Mind if I ask where you got the ceiling tiles? Was it easy to get the recess lights installed in them?

    Quoted from PlatinumPinMike:

Hey people , been quite a few years I have been inactive.
Recently downsized my collection since I’m not that much into hobby but I kept two machine I don’t plan to sell.
Recently remade my gameroom setup as I am more into terminator statue collection.
    Here what it looks like

Thank you very much! The pictures are of a finished basement and the ceiling tiles and recessed lights were placed prior to my arrival, so I'm not entirely sure where they came from.

Pre-gameroom and post-gameroom buildout. Floor is Polyaspartic with aluminum flakes added, ceiling is flat black. It took 36 gallons of paint to finish the ceiling. Bathroom roughed in and support posts boxed out.

WOW! What a set up! Love the way you put all of the themes together, such as the music pins next to the jukebox. Genius! Also, Loved the Evel Knievel toy set up on that shelf and the lunch boxes neatly displayed. So many memories with the EK motorcycle and playset.

Gamerooms should be set up as a stroll down memory lane and you nailed it. Congrats!

No, same place. Just found some pictures from the early days of building the room. Always like the "then and now" pic comparisons.

Been lurking for a while now and decided it’s time to reveal my obsession/addiction/insanity. Here’s my man cave. It has been evolving into what you see since mid 2008. It was a childhood dream to own a pinball machine and when I finally had my own house with a big basement I had to have *one* pin. I was warned that pinball is an addiction… you will almost certainly never have just one. Fast forward 13 years and I’m up to 8 pins (10 if you include the heavily modded Zizzle’s, plus a Black Knight and Blackout being baby sat at a friend’s house since I’m out of space).

I always loved model trains almost as much as pinball and always envisioned a train running through my game room. My 2020 covid lockdown project was to finally build my model train setup. Around my bar area I have a 30-foot rectangular N-scale model running along the ceiling. Along the rest of the majority of the basement/gameroom I have a 110-foot loop HO-scale model running along the ceiling. Plus a sh*t ton of micro arcades and vintage/handhelds. A wet bar, pachislo (with slot mod), and popcorn machine to finish the deal. And yes, RC is a hobby too haha.

As you can see in some of the pics parenthood took over some of my cave, but the kiddos like pinball and love playing in the cave so it’s all good! Enjoy the pics!

Geez; talk about a first-world problem...

Didn't start out that way. Had only one machine - Star Wars. But I made the mistake of turning out the lights...somehow it reproduced. Then I thought, OK, two and that's it.

    Rest is history and time.

Good thing I enjoyed machines back then and not recreational drugs....

we have all been there. Back in 2004. I thought I would be happy with just 4 games. I don't even own those 4 anymore.

LOL - "more fun to compete" - play and enjoy those old Gottliebs!
I keep the old tradition alive too, of always keeping some "quarters up" on the left corner of the glass of my Jet Spin.
