what's something like that run on the used market. I remember the auction days, huge stuff like this was dirt cheap, because nobody had the room or a way to get it home.

Nice start to your gameroom...and I love the artwork on the walls!
So yeah, I got a really good deal on the pod. The seller buys a lot in bulk from overseas and gets good prices.
I made a couple previous purchases from him so i got hooked up.
Side note: I just ordered a Rush premium...so stoked!!!

Seriously though it is pretty sweet. I am trying to figure out what that is. Is it hand drawn on? Is that chalk? If so, who did it?
Quoted from dirkdiggler:A bowling alley would be so sweet. Definite install when I win the lotto max.
Only thing missing is a huge tv screen at the end of the lanes above the pins, or at least some type of mural.

Anyone know what that long table thing is in front of the pins?
Quoted from bob_e:just one problem I'm about 35 million short..
After paying the 1st years taxes I'd be qualified for Social Services..
Quoted from pinballslave:Anyone know what that long table thing is in front of the pins?
It's a Shuffle Board table but not sure on the length.
I'm thinking tournament size which is 22 ft..
I was going to venture to say it's an "official" size shuffleboard table, not the home editions that are 9' or 12'....but the big 22' size! If only i had room for a 22' shuffleboard and bowling lane! The Dru abides.
Quoted from cait001:if you like the idea of pool-- the social aspect, the dexterity, the satisfaction-- but don't like the huge amount of real estate it takes up, might I suggest Bar Billiards? http://pinballnovice.blogspot.com/2021/07/a-note-on-bar-billiards.html
here's the video from my link:
It's only a bit more space than a pinball machine and fit nicely with a line of games
excuse the tangent from the normal content, but:
for anyone that was interested in bar billiards table, I stumbled on a forum where people had some for sale in the USA.

I bring these up because apparently there are no manufacturers in North America, so your only option would be a used one like this, or shipping from overseas. While not a perfect swap-in for a pinball machine, they would fit in many pin lineups that have some space wiggle-room.

I'd buy that one in Calgary but never get down that way. Wish I had some family down there. Bar billiards would be a fun addition to the gameroom.
My pinball bar/game room is coming along.
We had a bunch of folks over for a Christmas party and the Mrs organized a Santa for the party... After joining me and my buddy and trying his hand at the Iron Maiden, I stuck him on the EM and he loved it! Haha.

For those using black light? Any recommendations? Everything I see the reviews are overwhelming about the heat from the smaller cubes. Thx

I have these in several of these in the recess can lights in my bar/gameroom.
They don't get hot, they last a long time, they offer a really nice blacklight effect ( as well as offer a nice subtle light to the area below). They're not uncomfortable or harsh to look at, and actually they look rather neat.
I found them on Amazon.com.

Recently downsized my collection since I’m not that much into hobby but I kept two machine I don’t plan to sell.
Recently remade my gameroom setup as I am more into terminator statue collection.

Almost all of the ebay stuff is garbage. It's important to use 365nm instead of 395nm, because the latter throw off a whole lot of visible light and it ruins the effect. Even the ones claiming 365nm are usually fake, so be prepared to occasionally send back a dud.
I buy mine from http://spiderwebman.net/ - guy has an old-school operation but he's picky about what he sells. I have two of the 12W ones and my goodness does it ever make things pop.

Incredible collection! I love how you cut a perfect circle in the ceiling tile to allow the one statue to fit.
Absolutely no pink? Huh? What does that mean? Then you have pink lights throughout? I'm super confused.
Pink is the new black.
Camo is the new pink.
