    Quoted from BorgDog:

Nice lineup! I see you have one of the Alien Stars with the skinny coin door, wonder how many of those there were.

Thanks! I'm not sure how many have the skinny door but I did hear that one of the former owners' of my Alien Star was Brett Favre's dad (the late Irv Favre).

Moved into our new construction home 2 weeks ago and finally getting to the point of setting up my new gameroom. Still have a lot to do but at least we can play some pinball! I still have to setup my Harlem which is at a buddy's place and have a GNRLE coming sometime in January.

    Great room, love the comics.

I know this looks like a hot mess, but I FINALLY started to put the basement back together. The contractor got all the wainscoting done, so I could get to work. This was one day and I hope to have it all situated and cleaned up in the next few days or so.

Riverboat Gambler, WCS, Breakshot, and T3 have returned to their owner. Moon Patrol, TOTAN, and RFM will do the same likely tonight (after being down in the basement for almost 20 years)

    Quoted from Pin-Pilot:

    Interesting ceiling lights.

I also have 4 can lights in the room but wanted some dim-able lights in the center of the room with good light dispersion so that I can turn the can lights off when playing games. It works out well and I have no glare from the room lighting when playing.

Added a new arcade cab and projector / pulldown screen since I posted last. Will be getting rid of the couch for a smaller futon (guest room too) and virtual pinball is getting traded for a few more arcade setups by end of year. Still waiting to see what my next pin will be!

I don't have a ton of room in here so I'm trying to figure out the best way to lay it out.

I sold a few games this year and picked up a GnR LE yesterday. I also added the RFM and SWE1 last month. The GnR topper and under cabinet lighting should be here this week.

Nice! I also have the class of 1981 Galaga Mrs pacman. You play with rapid fire on or off? I found the rapid fire Galaga fun but WAY to easy.

There is also a back room with a couple more pinballs. Will have to post some pictures when I have them all illuminated and the game room “turned on”.

Love the handheld and collectible shelf. I am jealous of that Dragons Lair. That would be the only dedicated machine I would own. (I have a Hyperspin multicade I built)

It’s really great once you learn it, launchbox is much easier

I use hyperspin for small installs for a few hundred games, I really try to stay away from complete installs, just too much time involved.

Good move. My friend and I almost died getting that beast into the basement of my house. I think whoever buys my house from me is inheriting that machine.

Yea I’m disabled so it was TOUGH. luckily my buddy has a really nice furniture dolly and I had some decent ramps for my truck. Saw it go on the Facebook market for $600 and was 6 miles from me. Didn’t care if I hurt myself I wasn’t missing that deal!

Fixed the front lock and marquee light last night. She’s as good as new!!

What a cool collection! Love the nostalgia of the arcades and handhelds. I was an 80’s kid, 8 years old when E.T. came out, so I was obsessed with all this stuff. Dragon’s Lair is still such an awesome game!

Here's a couple recent pictures of my game room. I don't have a huge basement but have tried my best to make the space work. The basement was originally bare and unfinished. We put a full bathroom in, did an epoxy floor, painted the ceiling + walls, and added new lighting. One day I hope to have a larger basement for more pins (and my Star Trek Next Generation finally finished lol) but overall I'm happy with the current setup.

I am running it on Windows 7 and once I got everything the way I liked it I took it offline and have not touched the OS or Hyperspin. It has worked fine for me. My buddy moved over to LaunchBox and likes it.

Here's a recent tour of my unfinished basement. The amount of stuff is about done. I still need to knock down walls to another room and replace with a nice sports bar kind of thing, and replace all paneling with drywall. Getting closer.

A little Game Room update. Sold some and picked up a couple of new games and then felt compelled to rearrange most of the lineup. Then we had a good 2 hours of 4 player family fun tonight!

I had about 25 of them printed up by a fellow pinsider that's in the printing business about 3-4 years ago and I sold them behind the scenes at Expo and VFW shows in the parking lot. I may have 1 or 2 left, but I would have to hunt for them - might be a lost cause to find them again at this point. He made one for me that was a little more costly that I could back-light in that frame.
