    Quoted from mooch:

So where is the new designated area for bangin’ hookers?

Funny story with that sign - apparently since the property has sat vacant for so long, a few locals had been bringing ladies of the night back there for years....our agent caught one doing it and he said just that. Since the high tech security sign was added we havent had the issue again

    #18802 2 years ago

Moved to its own topic. I will update with pics when something happens - it might be awhile - hear it takes 6 months to demo and break ground lately....

    #18803 2 years ago
    Quoted from Waldo:

I have a different guy for the theater - not letting our builder build that out. Once we can afford to do it the theater entrance will come off the snack bar at the back of the theater....

I was going to say you need an elevator to move the games up to the second story, but never mind I see it now. Defiantly needs its own thread

    #18804 2 years ago
    Quoted from Waldo:

We are finally gonna attempt to build a dream place on the inter-coastal waterway in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Might start a thread of the build process if folks are interested.

Sure, we're interested. Everyone will want to know the answer to "Where's Waldo?"

    Quoted from DanMarino:

    Waldo! How cool is that?
A massive game room with a secret door to a hidden arcade room!

    Quoted from dirkdiggler:

There is no entrance to the theater room?
Just one door that leads to a furnace room?

Ah! Now the entrance to the theater room . . . that is the true secret door.

My game room has turned into a glorified storage area,….today I decided I’m taking back my space and switching the lineup around.

For what it’s worth, my humble man cave. The only room in the house she lets me have. Star Trek leaving and AFM coming in soon.

Has anyone here done the ping pong table top over a pool table? All the things said about a pool table being a waste of space and not being used very often is true in my case as well. I have modified my Table to reflect the Star Wars theme going on in my Basment, so getting rid of it is a no go, I worked too hard on it and I like the way it looks. If anyone has, which one did you get?

I have done it for years and it works fantastic. Spend money on a good net and buy a table cart for the ping ping table. Load the sections on a cart/caddy and roll to storage.

The table height is higher than normal (2”) but for us it’s good enough. I’m moving in January and buying another pool table. I have lost of open space for a ping pong table too but I will go back to the conversion top. Just watch the beer pong spills between the crack of the party is getting crazy.

Let’s see the Star Wars table.

A few months ago, with all that wood, you could have made a fortune by parting out your house.

My father-in-law works for MPC Cashway Lumber. Still expensive, but like 1/2 the cost installed. Got materials at cost and we built the frames and installed them. Plus it was 3 doors total. It’s only 900 sq ft with 1 bath.

    #18844 2 years ago

I’m about 200 plays in on my LE, did the first waxing and ball swap last night. A fresh coat of wax instantly reduced the outlane drains by at least 50%, maybe more! I was staring to get frustrated with that tailwhip into a right outlane drain if the ball wasn’t carrying enough speed or rattled at all…..I’m actually getting bounce backs into the inlane now!

    Quoted from Waldo:

Get busy living, or get busy dying....We are finally tossing caution to the wind and gonna attempt to build in these crazy times....We are calling the project the ShawShack Redemption (last name and it literally feels like a scary murder shack). The place is a vintage Florida home on the intercoastal waterway in Cape Canaveral my wife found and talked me into leaving my dream place in Evergreen, CO. Might start its own thread of the build process if folks are interested...

    Here's mine.

From left to right we have

    Dance Dance Revolution
    Mame cabinet
    Virtual Pin
    Iron Maiden Pinball
    Golden Tee 2021
    Arkanoid/Arkanoid 2/Free kick machine

You can see the conveniently placed hole in the roof that I needed to make to be able to lift the playfield. Low ceilings suck!

Back at it now as cabinets and TV arrived .I can see the finish line but being older I’m sure it’s farther than I think lmao .Wife’s side needs to be completed before I get back to the fun side .There’s some very detailed and original work coming soon ,but I have more time than money so how ever long it takes so be it .
