Perhaps partially because it's a two player machine (which is always nice in a game room) but I took the Scoreboard
out of a Friend's restaurant and replaced it with an Extra Inning primarily because of it being low production.
This machine was a mess when I got it in years back. I had the backglass made, and back then I didn't have the backing
placed on them, so I'm going to have that done next..
It has a different rule set than its cousin Base Hit, and when checking for schematics, Steve said Wow, a low production
machine. It took a little time, but Mike Pacak was able to dig one out for me..
There are better playing Pitch & Bats, but I only know of one other Scoreboard, so I'll be keeping it around..

    Quoted from bigguybbr:

That’s awesome. Where did you find it?
I finally got to ride that a few years back when I went out to Anaheim to run a half marathon. Cheesy but great. I would have loved it as a kid.

My brother gave it to me so its a mystery to me. Sad thing is he moved out of state and threw a couple more in the trash, bastard.

    Quoted from Flynnyfalcon:

How did you mount backglasses to the wall?

Hooks. I have seen people use mirror mounts too.

    Quoted from durgee7:

Sataneatcheese...gameroom looks sweet! Nice lineup. I like seeing my old spidey backglass put to good use.

    Quoted from Bud:

Where is the Spidey backglass? I can’t see it!

    Quoted from Staffan:

I think it's the one above Black Knight, right side of the door..

Great thinking sir, I am going to copy your idea as I was looking for similar setup in my gameroom
(yeah, gameroom still in progress)[quoted image][quoted image]

Love your backlist movie poster frames. Where did you get those?

Beautiful room... and, hate to say it, but I agree with what you said JJP. Epic fail

    #17809 2 years ago

thanks guys, yeah a shame and disappointing but we are lucky in that there is a lot of choice so move on to the next thing - if you are in the UK you have an open invite to come round and play!

I usually move a game into our pinbalclub -> Flip Out London but we are pretty full there so will have to wait and see, I have a few games on loan to friends. My company also has a new office opening up that I might be able to put a couple on location.

David, that looks absolutely fantastic; I've been trying to find a house with a room like that but they simply don't exist so for a couple of years I've been planning to build my own house unfortunately covid has put my plans back but next year I'm going to get back on the wheel for this.

Congrats on your new home. Insanely jealous!

    Neil.

It’s technically not the game room but the living room is coming together nicely. I think Bank A ball will go on the end but it’s too stinky to come in the house yet.

Got my overhead lighting sorted for these 2...couldn't be happier..( not a PinStadium guy).

One shot was standing from balcony overhead obviously

I like it but does it add any extra glare. Are you using PDI or similar anti glare glass.

PDI and zero glare....lighting is dimmable...zoom in and you can see the 2 lamps on each game, but gotta look close...." night and day" as the playfields are gorgeous...

I use overhead on all my games, just no ceiling in this case

I too don't care for the pinstadium lighting. I'm not a fan of seeing all the mini light reflections on playfield parts (especially metal ramp rails) in my games.

The neo version don't do that. They have a cover and diffuse the light. I love pinstadiums because they are programed so if there are parts of play where the playfield lights go off so do the pinstadiums.

Different strokes....I like the game designers deciding the color schemes. Added overhead light, dimmable and low white color temp to bring it all out.

I use track lights on all my games very similar to how you do. So cheap, easy and no installation when swapping games. I put all mine on dimmers so its just enough light to see the playfield and not lose the lighting effects as designed. And no puketastatic color bombing.

Bingo.....I was thrilled to sort a way to continue that on the MMrRoyal and AFMRle next to the staircase so just wanted to share. The games just look right like that imho...

Just busting your chops, to each their own.
I've never had pinstadiums, I just have gotten used to no lights above the games to avoid glare, and I like a "neon sign only" kinda vibe when I play.

Agree 100% Not a fan of pinstadiums at all. Why would you want your playfield whitewashed in a color? This belongs in the rainbow puke thread imo. All the beautiful color of the playfield is gone.

Awesome day adding both AFMr and MMr on the same day. AFM arriving from AZ after a 3 week journey, and MM picked up locally earlier this week. I have to move TNA into another room by STTNG so MM and AFM can hang together. First world problems!

Tatman, IBC (now, Benedictine University) is my old Alma Mater. Had we been friends back when I was in school, I would NEVER have got any studying done. I'm pretty sure that I would have focused on a Phd (Pinball heaven Degree) in Batman and Spiderman, instead!

You have an amazing rec room / theater, btw.

The only reason I haven't ordered the MMR color led kit is... I can't justify in my mind how it makes the game look.
