Quoted from Averhoeven:Trying to figure out how to lay this out better. The pinball machine forced me to move the table which used to be lined up directly center under the light. Any thoughts?

extend the cord length on the light fixture, put a eye hook in ceiling above center of table, and then hang light from it.

I hope you don’t mind I photoshopped some people into your game room pic.

Snooker is awesome. Not so much on an 8' (or is it a 9'?). I find it's more fun on small tables to rack only 10 reds and leave the brown and pink out of the game as well. This will open things up for longer runs and better games. Give it a try, it works.
Quoted from punkin:The ones on top of the machines?
Haha no I was standing back there and remembered Tim took a picture of his lineup in this thread recently. I didn’t have time to look it up but was trying to stand in the same spot he took the picture when nobody was playing them.

Thanks for the tip. We set up the snooker balls for the first time in a year and found it cumbersome on the 8' table but it was fun to play something different. Every break I'd send the ball flying off the table so we eliminated the pink ball on breaks. We'll try your setup tonight.
Quoted from EJS:I hope you don’t mind I photoshopped some people into your game room pic.[quoted image]
Even better that there were real people playing them. 155 games were played on the pins on Saturday. Thanks Eric.

You got lucky your STTNG didn’t get clobbered by JR he put up his best game the following Monday on a different machine.
We've done sillier round here. Before i bought a pinball the major game here was the underhanded empty can toss into the bin.
More points for rebounds and ricochets, as well as throwing facing the other way/blind. Loss of points and a boo-ing if you let any spill through not putting spin on the can.
Quoted from dantebean:Very cool. Can't wait to see the head completed.
Almost all done. Front door and antenna are all that's left to do then it'll be ready to go into the gameroom.

Colours at top go left to right: Green, brown, yellow. GBY. Remember by saying God Bless You.
Cool room. I played snooker on 12 foot tables growing up. Not quite the same on the smaller ones. Especially trying to play 8-ball on a table with snooker pockets!! Those tables should never be allowed!!

Here’s my bender costume from back in 2009!
I still have it, and a friend even won $500 costume contest prize wearing it.

I have a trans/non-binary friend that will absolutely love this one, thank you.
My Game Room is a little on the weak side but I do have one PIN so that's better than nothing at this point. My media room is 18' x 30' and will double as a pinball and home theater themed room. It's still a work in progress and has taken me 3 years to get this far. Still on my to do list is;
1) Purchase two additional movie related PINs, in the hunt right now for those.
2) Fill the blank wall space with movie related pinball stuff in addition to movie related stuff. Thinking a few translite with LED lighting.
3) Crown molding around the ceiling with LED lighting.
4) Theater carpet.
5) Bar top behind theater seats, thinking of using two encased playfields.
I picked up the F-14 Pin about 8 years ago, I built the digital movie poster frame and used a 42" 4K TV for the display. It has 5000 movie posters loaded on it via a Raspberry Pi.
The two new Pins will go along the back wall next to the F-14 Pin I already have. If anyone has ideas or pinball movie related stuff for sale let me know. Anyway here are a few pictures and I will update as I progress through this cash cow monster. Ha ha

Quoted from F-14Pin:In addition to the above media/game room I have a music room loaded up with vintage equipment. All of this was collected through the years and dates back to the 70-80s. Most of the equipment (Sansui) was bought while overseas with the Navy. Cracks people up when they walk in and see several hundred 8-Track tapes. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Great are you set up. I love the vintage stuff! Are you posting in the vintage stereo thread? Head over there and tell us about your HiFi set up!

If you like flashing lights on top of your pins and haven’t already decided on which movie pins you’re going to get, you might consider a Lethal Weapon 3 and a Last Action Hero. Might be fun seeing those all going at the same time!

Most of us started that way! Hell I think I had 1 machine for like 4-6 years before my 2nd

Same here. I only had one machine for 15 years. Funny how the third one showed up less than one year after the second...

Toucan, he has sansui. Sounds like the dream!!
Quoted from LeMansFan:Same here. I only had one machine for 15 years. Funny how the third one showed up less than one year after the second...
I always wanted a machine but never actually made any effort at all to get one. Then one day I impulse bought a machine from an ad on Craigslist and now somehow there are four of the things in the game room... and I now have a room that I refer to as "the game room". Yeah, like you say... funny how that just happens...
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Latest addition to the gameroom. Lol

Why would you putt from the wrong side of the ball ? Phil Mickelson inner voice. Lol
And the first machine up a running in the additional game room.
Unlike the other 2 ball bowlers, this one has multiple games, and also because
I much needed the space in the garage where this was stored for I believe 23 years,
are a couple of the reasons I set this one up. But in addition, mostly because in the
Hometown Tavern (Big bar. Converted from an old full size Theater) is where the Fellas and
I had the best times from any of the other ball bowlers elsewhere. Great memories.
Back in (I believe 1998) when taking it out of the bar, I brought in home, freshened it up,
and the sections been stood up and parked in the garage ever since.
After inspecting the head's components and seeing all was free, a Friend and I set it
up, and trouble shooting was at a minimum to get her functioning 100%.

Quoted from mcuzz:I can see a bowling ball going through that window.
Haha, The old timers use to put screen covers over the backglass. Back then 16 year olds got
drunk in bars. I think I'll be okay. When there's kids, any of them under 12 isn't allowed anything
above 4.6%

I love them. Unfortunately I'm just storing it for a friend and it's getting picked up tonight I'm going to miss it's amazing lightshow and the best attract mode I can think of.
Hopefully someday I can bring home one of my own. I've had it since Halloween and still not bored with it and that's rare for me.
So, so many really high-end game rooms on this thread! I'm jealous, but hopefully someday I'll be able to up the ante so to speak on my game room. I'm almost embarrassed to post my modest game room setup. I'm in year 2 of the setup and it's still evolving, what a fun hobby!

No need to feel that way. You have some cool games! The cost of a house in LA with a garage is probably no small feat.
Quoted from punkin:Nothing to be whinging about there. 4 really cool games that anyone would be happy to own.
I know and trust me, I'm thankful to even be able to have a few pinballs. I just see other game rooms here and it's really hard not to be envious!

No kidding! I see you're in Detroit. I'm originally from Michigan and when I first moved out here I was completely shocked at the cost of housing. Hell, 20 years later, it's still shocking.

Ha. Is that where "DTE" comes from? Houses in Michigan aren't cheap either, nor are the property taxes.

Clark Griswald would be proud of that gameroom.
Update, pictures of work room, storage area and game room.
Looks epic! Feel your construction pain though. I’m working on finishing my home which includes a 4500sqft basement. Material Prices are astounding.
