    Quoted from yaksplat:

It's a 2500 sqft single floor addition, so it's pretty much a house. But yeah, the timing sucks. I'm replacing every LVL with steel where I can to save cash.

We’re trying to build similar size to what we had in CO (7,000sq ft). Ouch.

    #17502 2 years ago

Thanks, of all the murals it's the only one I've asked Ash to paint the way i wanted it (besides the front door). I had the concept in my head and set out to find the dance floor to make it work.

He painted my house which is between the two pinball areas as well as my front door.

Beautiful trio. I need to get one of those neons.

True story: It was between 1980 and 1982 in Las Vegas. I was playing black jack at Caesar’s Palace. Evel Knievel walked in with two bodyguards and stood at an empty table directly across the pit from me. He proceeded to place a $3,000 bet on each of the six spots on his table. The dealer dealt himself a 20 and Evel lost $18,000 in about 30 seconds. He didn’t say a word and just walked away.

Lol. I've seen basically the same thing happen to my neighbor at a local casino but lower odds. A new table opened and he placed $100 bets at all seven spots. Dealer hit a soft 21 and busted him 2gs with splits and double downs.

Just did a home arcade walkthrough with my buddy Erik who owns District 82 Pinball up here in Green Bay. There is another video that goes with this one where we walkthrough his home pinball shop and parts collection. I think you guys will like it

Finally got to meet OneAngryMo (he’s not as angry as you might think) even tho we are just 10 miles apart. Played some awesome pins and hung out with some real characters! Thanks, Mo!

Finished the last piece of the hardwood on the additional game room last weekend, and now
finishing up the trim around the staircase. Next will be the staircase's railing, then staining, and
still have to wrap the beam supporting the roof. Won't be too long for clean up. These machines
(plus others in the barn) I'll have set up..

Do you have an outside lift? Or will you be carting stuff up the stairs?

Lot to be said for a gantry i reckon, put one in my distillery shed at home when i built it.

Wondering that too - stairs look a little steep and maybe tight at the top for the full turn, especially on that beautiful wood floor.

That's awesome! I recently bought a 90s payphone from my hometown and waiting till I can find a authentic booth to put it in. However after seeing your pics I might build a custom booth myself. Well done sir

Put an exhaust fan in the roof and you could sit in there and have a pipe.

I also have an outside phone booth down at the pond.
When a Kid walks by, I'll ring the phone, and their eyes open
wide. Some will answer, and that's when the fun begins.. haha..

Thanks! Years back, I got a little lucky. It kinda fell from the sky.
A Friend calls and ask if I could use a phone booth, $600.00
I asked "does it have a phone. He said Yup. I said sold and a couple hours
later it was delivered to my door. I think he bought out the contents of an
    old building..
A couple weeks ago I turned a Friend on to one that was fairly local for $850.00
If he didn't want it, I was going to grab it. It'd be a great trading piece..
If you can find just the booth (even without the phone) for under $1,000.00,
    you'd make out okay.

Wow that seems pricey for something that was once so commonplace and now obsolete. Anyway, you gotta make it so dialing a certain number opens the door to the game room or something like that one that is shown somewhere earlier in this thread.

Dang, there is so much cool stuff in this thread.

I know a booth just sitting in someone's yard. I like them used indoors better than this yard ornament.

Thanks! The big one came out of Tilt Arcade that was in Concord Mills mall back in the day. I'm not sure exactly when they closed, but I think they had it specially made. Buddy (doughslingers on here) bought from them when they closed and it hung at his drive-in movie theatre in Norton, Va for some years. I bought from him last year and took it to a Neon place in Greensboro and had them fully restore it and hung up in the gameroom, so it is one of a kind!
