drool.....I could live at that bar!
in 2 years, the furniture will be gone and it'll be full of pins, and be looking for another addition to home to fit the new ones
Quoted from Lermods:heres a few of mine...recently completed.
Nice armor on your XMEN! Looks sweet.
Rlerman - nice collection! Seems like we have similar tastes in games. Two great super deep games in LOTR and TSPP. Fun comic book mode based games in Xmen and Avengers. Love the theme on all of them.
If you are thinking of getting another I would recommend Ironman. Fits with the super hero theme you have going, and the super fast gameplay compliments the other 4 games nicely.

Thanks. I was thinking about tron, but maybe will give IM some thought.
Quoted from policano:Update to my Game Room.
Love the lighting in that room. Looks great!
Finally got around to taking a shot of my game room...so here it is.
IJ, Monster Bash (with Color DMD), WCS, WWF, Pac-Man Cabaret (60-in-1), RFM, and a TV to watch Reds games...although RD Jr has hijacked it and is play Wii here.
There is also a ceiling train, as well as 3' Jack Skellington figure between the IJ and the MB.

It's just missing a television set playing nothing but Prime Time Wrestling...

LOL. I was literally watching that via Classics on Demand about an hour ago.
Haha little IT consulting firm in OKC. I'm one of the owners and i've convinced everyone else there that having a pinball room is the way to go!
best owner ever

I used to run EA's global IT prior.

Please buy my firm
This is my favorite thread of all time. Makes you think that everybody has a game room. You lose perspective that this represents <<<1% of the population. Oh, but what a sweet minority it is.
Quoted from dendoc:The current room. Of course too small for my 10 pins, so just got wifely permission to convert the garage to a new games room, and build a new garage in front of that! No more need to rotate pins in and out of storage!
Great variety of games, like the mysterious mood of the room.
Quoted from Flake49:Just had my basement finish project completed. Dont have a dedicated gameroom (I like think most of the basement is a game/rec room) but the kids playroom does have plenty of dedicated circuits to accomodate lots of pins. Obviously the centerpiece is the bar. There is also a mame machine and cruisin exotica (not really pictured). There is also a countertop itouch game and an in wall jukebox with dedicated in wall speakers. Only one pin for now but as you can see there is a open slot for a buddy.
Very nice room, very nice mood and decor. Just nice.
Quoted from Dbaum88:Here are 5 of my pins, including my new Tron Legacy Pro and Star Wars Data East.
Is that your $10,000 spending spree? Fun!
Quoted from pzy:Just brought ToM home to my tiny (and messy) apartment. Nice two-pin lineup now!
That's a heck of a 1-2 punch!
I'm looking for suggestions for lighting for the gameroom. It's a converted 2-car garage, so I have no windows (and would like to keep it that way ).
I'm not sure what lights to put over near the pins that won't cause a bad glare or reflection.
I see a lot of can lights in ceilings in these gameroom pics, but do those cause bad glare on the glass or light up the playfields too much?
I use can lights with colored flourescent 12 Watt (40Watt eqivalant) party bulbs and I don't seem to have any glare problems. As long as the can is mounted above and perpendicular to the playfield it can not appear in the mirror reflection of the playfield glass when in the player position. My gameroom is always under construction:
This is my favorite thread. I love to see the great collections and beautiful game rooms. Big or small, I love them all! Several years ago, I never dreamed of having a game in my home. I'm so happy I found them a home and love to see others homes as well.
I just officially removed my desk from my office and its now the PinCade. I really like having them together. I'm looking for a cafe style table and couple of chairs for the back. I already added the TV to watch movies and such when Chris and I are working on pinballs. I attempted to only put finished machines in there but I like them all in the same room with the exception of TSPP because my mother is going to finish the painting Sunday! Then it will make its way home to the PinCade. TonyCade's
Well it was 2 years ago this month that I bought my STTNG pin. Have no basement so my pin has been relegated to a small alcove in my dirty garage. About a month ago I bought all the parts to do a full teardown, new rubbers, wax, new Silverjet balls but I didn't want to tackle the job out in the garage. Out of the blue my wife says to me "why don't you move it in here?". So finally today I got around to moving my STTNG into its new home. My wife no longer uses her PC since she uses her laptop upstairs so I am thinking its time to build a smaller desk for 1 PC and make room for 2 more pins.
The kids love the arrangement and hopefully with it now in the house I can get my wife to play it. She played it the first 2 days I had it and that was it. This room was originally going to be the "entertainment" room and then kids came along and it became the "kids" room. They no longer need this big room as their toys have consolidated and moved into their bedrooms so its time to make the game room properly. Here is the start. The room is actually 14'x22' so there is a bit I can do with it.

BTW, that window looks awful bright but outside of it is a 16'x16' covered patio so direct sunlight barely comes in that window. When the sun comes up in the mornings it will come through at an angle that hits the opposite wall for an hour or two but should never hit the pin. With the cabinet sitting below the window sill, no direct sunlight, and wooden blinds that will remain closed I don't think I should have a problem. Any suggestions to anything else I might do to protect the pin or should I be ok?
Quoted from Meph:Any suggestions to anything else I might do to protect the pin or should I be ok?
You're fine, so stop worrying about that and get cracking on making that PC desk as small as possible to fit three more pins in there
few others...trying to figure out how to post a video. Also, moved games since pics to straight on instead of angled and figured out I can fit 9 pins with ease, so I have some work cut out!

Also, sorry that last pic is irrelevant to a pinball game room, but thought it added character to the room..from the 1800s

Nice decor,9 foot ceilings too. What type of floor is that?
I stained my concrete....wasn't too bad, but you really don't know what you've got until you clear it b/c the concrete takes the stain how it wants too! Thanks! I'll update pics as I finish it up. Aaron
