Is that a dartboard right next to a pj screen? Gutsy!
It’s pretty cheap ($15 or so) to buy a 100 count string of fairy lights that are either clear or multicolored. Some come with different modes. I just tape them to the back behind each insert.
The playfields are the real expense! Cool art tho.

That’s like a tin piece of wall art I bought recently from Etsy I believe. $30, and they offer several mini playfields.

It's a Valley Cougar dartboard (soft tip). The TV is a Samsung which I use as a TV and monitor for my Mame PC in the cabinet below it. Haven't had an issue....so far.
game room jan2021 (resized).jpgQuoted from MrMikeman:I remember it was prohibitively expensive.. like around 500$ or more for the kit. As usual, they got slaughtered on Pinside by armchair designers who thought they could design something similar for 1/5th the price. Of course that never happened.
Everybody wanted that kit but nobody was prepared to pay what it really cost unfortunately. Given the 1-2$k toppers being sold now I think it could probably work now. They were just a little ahead of their time.
Here's my 15$ solution from Amazon. Sorry for the short clip. There's 8-10 different flashing patterns and didn't feel like recording for 4-5 mins to get them all.

They have 50 and 100 light strings. I used 100 lights.
I like the cat meowing towards the end of your video. Is that a Siamese?
Quoted from dyopp21:Just to add to the discussion about illuminating old playfields. I used a cheap LED sequencer called "LED Magician" and cut an LED strip into small sections and soldered the wires to the small copper pads that are populated all along the strip. I think the sequencer has 10 or so different patterns and will accommodate around 15 different channels. I've done 4 playfields so far and will add more after I get my room set up later. The sequencer was around $25 as I recall.
Here's some video of one for the wall:
And also some video of a few playfields I put in a bar:
I was so excited when I saw this. I have been looking for something like the LED magician. It appears they are discontinued and no longer available. I guess I just need to go with the fairy Lights, Unless anybody else has other Ideas to share

Where did you get the GB playfield? I’ve been looking for one, not a wall hanger, but a spare for my game and I’ve come up empty-handed.

That's what I have on 10 of my wall and ceiling hangers. I found Gorilla Tape holds best.

I bought it from another Pinsider who had replaced it. This one has some pooling and chipping around the post holes. So it wasn’t new, just an original one with some flaws. Makes a nice piece of art tho. I think the GB hand-drawn art is awesome.

I was focused on an expensive, complicated, sophisticated sequencer. Until you posted this!
It took me 45 minutes to setup and $11.95
Thanks for posting the info!
Quoted from Apollyon:The only issue is that they are rare. They were discontinued a while ago. I got one of the last ones I could find in North America. It was used but in excellent condition. [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Company I work for used to operate a couple of those. Super fun game, but a huge PITA to work on. Especially the optics and cameras in the rear of it.

Nicely done! Just takes a bit of patience and a whole lot of duct tape lol.
I'm surprised at how few inserts are on TAF! I had 64 on DrWho and at least that many on JP.
Quoted from MVCO:Can you tell I like old Bally's? Also collect vending stuff. Many of the pins are HUO. My pride and joy accumulated over the last 30 years.

Seriously though......that has to be the strongest dresser in the world!! I have a similar slot machine and its amazingly heavy!! How is that thing standing up with 2 of them on top of it!??!?!
Quoted from durgee7:Reminds me of a restaurant/bar in Monroe, Mi called Pete's Garage. You could eat inside of old fashioned cars. They also had pinball machines upstairs. I wonder if that place is still around. Last went there in early 90's, I think.
It's still around

but with those high ceilings have you considered: build a 2nd level loft and double the pins in the row?

I do have two stories to my house. This is ground level. The only room my wife said I can have.

Not the living room. Just a extra room.

That wall above the pins is just begging for a projector screen. I actually painted my screen, people can't tell it's just paint.

What a lineup! I need to get me an ACNC
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:What a lineup! I need to get me an ACNC
Yes you do, that one is taking all my time recently.
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:What a lineup! I need to get me an ACNC
Good luck in the search! I purchased ACNC, then got R&M a few months later. What game left my collection first? R&M.
Actually I think I've bought and sold 5 games since my ACNC purchase...
Anyway, it's not a game to give up easily and very few were made. If you can find one, pull the trigger immediately. Put down that deposit and run to it!
Quoted from Rdoyle1978:What a lineup! I need to get me an ACNC

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:And close to me! For trade though
He had to list a price, so maybe he's willing to sell and use the cash to buy his Stranger Things. Couldn't hurt to ask. I bought my ACNC six months ago and I can't stop playing it. It's a great game.
The Ballshack has made it up to the “cold gray void” stage. Drywall is up. I guess they’ll finish mud before they add the pocket door to the “world’s smallest shitter” (I ain’t giving up much room for pinball machines, one small closet and one small .5 bath)93F43E05-93F6-40C6-8F27-97135C64EBD0 (resized).jpeg5A658F88-7036-4BCD-B2EA-AFF3BDC73650 (resized).jpeg
Quoted from hlaj78:I’m not seeing too many outlets in there.
The picture is misleading. There are several on the back wall you can’t see and for some reason a few of the boxes are cut but still covered. That one room has a total of ten 20amp circuits.

Don't make me come over there and clean that place up!
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:Don't make me come over there and clean that place up!
Haha. Yeah I'm hoping they give the place a good sweep before we take ownership. You should see the back yard. It's a minefield of bricks, drywall and lumber with nails sticking out of it in every direction.

Make sure they haul away the stuff in the yard and don't bury it. Ask me how I know
