Is it too late to build a ramp for a walk -up basement?
My buddy and I thought red dog was awesome when it came out in the early 90s. Fast forward to a couple years ago, I saw a case in the liquor store .. couldn't wait to get to his house and crack them open... DISGUSTING! Guess our tastes really change!
Quoted from punkin:I drink Coopers, by the pallet. So they give me stuff.

Beautiful artwork, punkin! I see you're in Australia. Do you ever get any nasty bugs or snakes crawling in your game garage/building? Just curious.

Never heard of Cooper's, and it's my son's name so I looked on ebay to find there are only hats available.
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:Here are a few pics of some of the neons in my game room, in which all pertinent permits were pulled.

Cool drop ceiling panels! Wow. You have more pictures of that somewhere? Looks like the coin door, backbox back and fronts from Attack From Mars. Those light up? Great idea!
Quoted from mac622:I used to really enjoy Icehouse. Never see it anymore though....
I need to light mine up more often. It sits behind the bar next to my Pinside viewer.

Lots of snakes live here on the coast. Mostly carpet pythons, but there's green tree snakes, brown and black snakes (both poisonous).
This Carpet Python was in my back yard resting up for a couple days;
There's also these two guys live in my shed with me, they are Centralian Pythons;

PM me your address, i'll send Cooper a hat.

It's a project I did about 15 years ago. If you ever took drafting, this is an exploded view of an AFM cabinet. All custom made to fit in 2X2 and 2X4 tile spaces. Otherwise, I made it to look as authentic as possible.
Power switch turns on the coin door lamps and the speaker is tied to a receiver.

Quoted from Kkoss24:I havnt tightened up yet but no I don’t like inspectors they slow me down .Usually theyre the mayors nephew that wants to red flag you as much as possible so he can start getting commissions on them .I’m mostly a carpenter but with YouTube I’m doing it all now and getting better every day .The funny thing is nobody mentioned the ceiling you’ll never see one like this because I just invented it .In Indiana if you drywall your ceiling in basement it becomes taxable .If you have acess to your ceiling it’s not .Most people here spray paint the ceiling open like some bars do .I installed 2x4 blocks across the joists to make equal rectangles .Then used door stop 1/2 inch up to picture frame each opening .Caulk it up n paint with a flat black .Cut drywall panels and painted n installed like ceiling tile .Makes a 8 foot ceiling look 8foot 3.tedious but real cheap to do

I'm regularly looking at these games room posts and often show them to the wife, it's nice to see the different ideas and visions for them. They are all unique and awesome regardless of size and style, after all, we do it for ourselves and they reflect our personalities and tastes.
We were taking pics for someone today and she convinced me to share them on this forum so, here are a few before and after snapshots of our Man Cav... I mean Family Cave... we're very proud of it... ROCK ON and STAY SAFE guys, CHEERS!

That is awesome!
Wow, I’ve seen some spectacular game rooms on this thread. Very inspiring, creative, & super-inviting indeed!
As for me...just starting a game room with my 1st machine - Joker Poker with all it’s charm & those classic chimes to boot! You’re never too young to enjoy some pinball!! Game on. lol. Cheers fellow Pinsiders.

WOW! How long did this take you? Did you go about it solo? If you don't mind me asking, what was the budget?
This is seriously a place I could go and just hang. Not too many games, not too few, excellent relaxation atmosphere. Very nice all around.

Is that you in the pic?
Joker Poker is one of my favorite games all time. I could play it daily -- and I basically have -- and never get bored. What a classic!

Yep @meurah. And I agree with you that JP is loads of fun to play. The chimes definitely ‘sound & spell classic pinball’ to me! Cheers.
It's funny, one of my favourite games that would be in the last two or three to leave is my Hankin Orbit 1. It's an SS game, but to me it's pinball distilled into it's essence.
No ramps, no speech or multiballs. Just shoot the blinky lights and then do it aging.
I'd be a very happy man if i only had one pinball machine and it was my Orbit 1.

I uncovered the table to play over the weekend. Covered it Monday morning before finishers started.
As usual, thanks for sharing everyone - always fun to see how others imagine their own game room spaces.
Quoted from Dewman:Probably because of the thin blue line flag. I served 25 years in law enforcement so sorry no apologies for it.
I with you 28 down and 7 to go (I’m in it for the long haul. Love your room only thing missing is another FLAG. Be safe.

There's a word for that... "Crazy." 25 and out for me three years ago.
