You guys are killing it with huge gamerooms. Motorcity, that floor is awesome! Looks like water
Whenever I think I might have too many pinball machines I just look at this thread and it makes my collection look very modest and restrained...
Quoted from Motorcitypinball:We have recently finished the Game Room Build! It took about 7 months. It is finally at a place that I can post pictures
The few at the beginning are before.

Wow looks like a location

Agreed. Looks awesome, I would be interested to know more on the floor as well. Epoxy?

Yes it is Epoxy in my basement. I had 6 different quotes and finally chose a company. My idea was to have the colors and artwork similar to Vincent Van Gogh Starry Nights. Blue some white and some yellow swirled in. I wanted the look of water or glass so I opted out of NON slip material sprinkled on at the end which IMO takes away from the glass look. As it is, it is NOT slippery so I made the right decision. This a metallic epoxy. I was happy with the finished product.

Looks great, I did epoxy too! We love it. We almost when metallic epoxy but we wanted dark floors and more of a space theme. So went with black, fleck and holographic glitter plus an additional coat to gloss. Epoxy is a great choice for a game room
Mine is amazingly easy to clean. If there are spills or anything. Epoxy will also strengthen the existing concrete and supposedly give some extra protection against cracking. Time will tell on that!

Yeah, we did ours three months ago and no issues. Clean with water and micro pad . Hard to see the holographic glitter in the picture but super looks good when you see it in person

Your game room is pretty ok too.
Glad you enjoyed the story! Went down to visit John and his wife for New Years since writing that.
Nothing but even better things to say. Gracious host and a humble guy
I did finally get a chance to ask him what it was like working with Cyd Charisse on Broadway. He said she was an absolute sweetheart.

Any details on the hardware you used for building that rig?

Pro tip: whenever your wife complains about how many pins you have, show her this thread.

Thank you. Most people say it looks better in person than the pictures. Some have said "HMMMM it looks like a bowling ball finish" and I am good with that!

That is bad ass!
Agree, I love seeing the different layouts and how people use the space that they have for their game rooms. Each is unique which is cool.
Quoted from NeilMcRae:amazing to see all the rooms.
I have been drooling over your game room for over a year !! Finally got mine!!
Quoted from Motorcitypinball:I almost forgot these custom flipper Bar door/Drawer handles/knobs
[quoted image]
This would be a lot of work and a little pain, but it would be fun if those actually flipped and have them wired up to some push buttons on the counter. You wouldn't even need full strength flipper coils either.
I’m trying to figure out what carpet to use in mine. Only need about a 14 x 20 foot section. Everything I keep looking at though doesn’t seem to fit or isn’t available. Would love any suggestions.

Just for future reference on the pex. If you don't absolutely need an elbow, leave it out and let the pex curve. You'll get a ton of pressure drop in lines with a lot of fittings.
Quoted from weaverj:zeppelin premium?! you had to have just cracked that open.
Brought it home on Super Bowl Sunday from Flip N Out Pinball.

I'm looking for a coke machine just like yours! how much does one of those run? I'm seeing them between 2-5k, very tough to figure out what these things are worth!
Quoted from weaverj:i'd love to see a def leppard pin. just saying, gary.
Was just thinking that myself while listening to Hysteria yesterday!

That’s a cavalier 72 1959 and it’s flawless .I got a great deal on it guy was retired moving to Phoenix but those go for between 3-6k depending on condition .If you can find one completly done I’d say anything under 4500 grab it .The value will only go up as years go by .
Quoted from Yelobird:I'm sorry but you moved to Indiana you will need to Please return all of that Chicago sports memorabilia. Thank you.
I actually bought a bunch of 16x20s photos autographed at auction and make those myself .I’m planning on selling them n replacing with new ones as I go .Well that’s the plan I usually end up keeping everything
