First is from the workshop, where my main lineup is. Where the “work” gets done

    FD1E66BB-DC24-4E33-993C-F0048AE7E33A.jpegFD1E66BB-DC24-4E33-993C-F0048AE7E33A.jpeg

Then the basement gameroom, which has sadly become yet another storage room. I have to move a ton of shit if I wanna play my beloved Baby Pac-Man. With the new house it will be different!
No furniture, I will sleep under my machines, with the GI to keep me warm.

The storage unit with the shuffle bowler used to be empty, now holds all the winter projects and a ton of racking that will be used in the next workshop.
I’m staying prepped for the future, 90% sure I’ll have to close the arcade and clean it out, then reopen down the line at a new location.

Up and down and up and down and up and down
Please use the rotate feature, I’m gonna be sick flipping my phone around so much!
Congrats though, your gameroom looks awesome!

You’re really harshing his dream right now. Not fuego. Just keep it real and don’t beef with the vision, feel that?

Not sure what that means, but his “heavy” reference was from Back to the Future, and so was mine. Sincerely, Doc Brown.

I followed your BSD build. I must say it's the nicest BSD I've ever seen. Beautiful!

    Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Whoa, you made your basement a diner?!?
That’s awesome!! Love the vibes from that.
I’m looking at buying my first house now. Viewing of my two top choices on Sunday!! Hopefully they aren’t crap lol. Looking for a fixer-upper type cuz I’m gonna be ripping it apart and remodeling anyway, haha!
Told my boyfriend that we figure out the pinball rooms first, THEN everything else. Slowly, he’s getting into it; at first he thought pinball was confusing and difficult. Found out he was intimidated by my “skill” (every non-Pinhead always seems to think we’re amazing players when we complete basic shots lol!)
I’m using a lot of these gameroom photos for idea how to turn the entire house into a badass man cave.

Thank you! Diner idea was all my wife's, not mine for the record lol

Wow, agree 100%. I missed that one, but it is awesome. The review of the 4 Mad Max movies in the first post is spot on too. I’m glad to see someone else has good taste in movies.

More decor/room rearrangement incoming, but just finished up the game room. 2month project with a friend and my gf.

House remodel is happening next year and plan to add a candy cabinet multicade to replace the washer dryer, once the utility room is moved to the main house proper.

I made my own dart board wall protector as well. Step son wanted a dart board so I contacted the local electric company and picked up a free giant cable spindle. Pulled off one side, then used a blow torch to color it.

I used these neon rolls for just over 150’ run and no color/brightness loss like LED lights. Look awesome!

The pool table has to go. Then you’ll have room for more pins. Problem solved.

Already been discussed with the wifey(she hates my pinball obsession and doesnt like pool either). My space is long. So im thinking about getting rid of pool and adding a 18 foot shuffleboard table. Since those are vary narrow it opens up a ton of space for more pins and my wife would actually play shuffleboard. I have a 9 foot pool table so this would add room for another 5-6 pins. The other option is to take over my kids playroom on the other side of the basement when they are done with it(probably a few years away). I could fit about 10-12 pins in that room and keep the pool table. Dunno if I can wait that long....

Just an opinion but aside from pool tables and tread mills shuffleboard tables gather dust faster then any game in my opinion. Fun yes but short lived.

If you have a partner that likes to shoot pool there's nothing like it. We go down and shoot for at least 2 hours day. Even before we had the table set-up, we'd shoot pool at the bar daily.

Agreed. It does help quite a bit if the wife likes pool too. I would kind of like to get one for our place eventually. My wife grew up with a pool table and I know she’d love it. Hopefully that would offset the sting of the P3 that arrives tomorrow!!

It's true that many pool tables sit idle all the time, but, for the people who "get it" and are students of the game, there's nothing like having a pool table at home to shoot while you're watching TV and relaxing. If I had more time I would be playing in league still. I miss it all the time.

i really enjoy playing pool, but my wife hates it and no one else really likes it around here. My neighbor will come over a few times a year and play a bit while we drink, but thats about it. And this year of course no one has been over!

At least one house. My wife and I had an agreement that if I got the basement finished I could put a pinball machine down there guilt free. That was summer 2018. I now waiver between 3 and 5 pins. It's a fun hobby!

I’ve got some other ones too, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Mötley Crüe to name a few! Just no more space. That’s why I’m looking at houses

You guys inspired me to take better pics of the basement gameroom. It’s still packed full of stuff. 20 lbs of mancave collectibles in an 5 lb room!

It can’t be properly displayed till I’ve got at LEAST an entire floor that can be a gameroom!

Gotta wonder how much home renovation happens in the name of pinball

We're actually looking for a single floor house, just so we can have a game room with full access. Luckily, my gf totally likes having pins and arcades around! I thought it was only arcades (she'll never let Pac-Man go!), But turns out pins as well.. so, we're trying to bypass the whole 'home renovations' thing, lol, and just move into a gaming house instead!

Very nice room. I really liked the Augusta 12th hole picture. My Amen Corner pictures are in my "clubhouse". [quoted image]
But my version of Amen Corner is in the back yard.

Thanks. I picked it up from the lady at the end of my block for $5 at a yard sale years ago. I love major golf and especially The Masters. Was strange watching it in November but happy it happened at all this year. Your Clubhouse is awesome!

    Quoted from Pahuffman:

there's nothing like having a pool table at home to shoot while you're watching TV and relaxing. If I had more time I would be playing in league still. I miss it all the time.

Right? After the wife went up after happy hour last night I put the Monday Night Football game on and shot by myself till after 10pm in between tearing down SF2. We talk about joining a league whenever this pandemic subsides. We did dart league for a few years in the early 2000s and it was fun.

Both of those are great compliments to pinball. Playing pinball doesn't really allow you to check out a game, your full attention is on that silver ball. Sure you can take a break between turns... but your timing has to be pretty good, and then you get that looping music and maybe even some callouts telling you to hurry the f up.

Oh, and a bristle board is dirt cheap and takes up practically 0 space. Everyone should have one in their game room.
