    Quoted from RetroGamerJP:

If you are a movie fan, trailers (and posters) are not seen as commercials, but rather nostalgic works of art.

Thanks. Don't guess i'll ever see it from here, but at least i understand the view.

Quoted from jorge5240:I have a house dedicated just to games. A true “game house”.

Wait, tell us more... not a place to live, but a house with only games in it?

Go to the top for this thread and do a Find in Topic search, put in jorge5240 in the Posts By Pinsider box, and it will spit out all of his posts in this gamereoom thread. You can look through those, towards the beginning he tells the story of his second game room house, with tons of cool pics.

I went back to upvote a bunch of jorge5240 posts. That is definitely documentary or atleast reality tv worthy! Nice work!

Now do the same for ramegoom, if you pull up all of his posts you can see the evolution of that massive game room right from the beginning.

I haven’t taken pics in a while. I will try and get some next week. I am going to be up there for a week.

Glad you liked the game house. Family and friends have a lot of good times there.

If any of you get out this way (Northern California) stop bye and check it out.

I head up from Socal to visit my friend in Angels Camp and play some golf every so often, although that's been on pandemic hold. So I drive right through Copperopolis hint hint. I've also been looking at properties in that area, considering maybe retiring there. I'd like to get a nice spread with a barn for a game room setup. Or heck, I can just buy 2 adjoining houses and do it that way.

Let me know when you head that way. I am a huge proponent of Copperopolis. Only 14 more years until I move there full time. Just have to get my youngest through school.

I don't know your political beliefs and not to make it political but it is a very conservative area and you should be aware if you were really considering moving that way.

    #16363 3 years ago

Yup, Are you the first person on this thread to have your own brewery near the game room? Damn!!

My first words out of my mouth, "Holy Sh*t". Jealous.

Are those two 5 gallon brew kettles? How are they temperature controlled? Create one yourself or bought a kit?

I really didnt like the stainless steel part, as a physician it resembles an autopsi room.

On my 3rd time looking at the pics, I finally noticed you have pins too.

Love those floors, can't ever go wrong with a dartboard

I slide through the Back to the Future town square, I mean Copperopolis, when I visit the local prisons of the area.....work related. I've had some pretty ok and pricey Italian food there. Paid for by, you guessed it, work related.

Next time, I'm going to try and hit the 88, just not sure if there's enough runway.

Any chance you're literal home arcade near the clock tower?

Looks cool but complicated and over the top. I'm trying to figure how it would improve the flavor or make brewing easier? Simple step mash system with a cooler works fine. This must be nice for brewing during yhe winter. Kudos on the specific temp fridges for lagering!

    The floors are metal epoxy.

The brew kettles are 15gal Blichmanns. Their temperatures are contrived by unit from The Electric Brewery. I bought the kit.
The two stainless steel brew buckets are 7 gal. They are from SS Brewtech. The temp is controlled via a controller that I made. The temperature prob bypasses the fridge thermostat. It keeps the temp within +/- 1 deg F.
The small screen displays Tilt Hydrometer reading.

Love the floors, I almost did epoxy on mine as well, but decided to stain them instead. Did you do it yourself or have a professional in? I stained myself to save some $$

I'm in the middle of my game room work now, can't wait to finish....

About 10 minutes from there. You probably go across the bridge on the way to the prison. We are in one of the developments before the bridge.

Next time go to the Copper Cafe in the square, really good.

If you ever roll past the prison and go towards sonora hit up Woodscreek cafe, best breakfast place I have ever been too. Get the Super Bowl and you will not be disappointed.

Interesting fact that town square was built so that the golf course could expand and build more homes. That was the deal made with the community in 2008 before the shit hit the fan. For many years the town square was just a ghost town but it is finally getting its footing. Lots of retirees moving up in that area full time now.

    #16378 3 years ago

I have a still in my basement. Shhhhhh.

I like the floor too. It may just be me, but I dig that sliding door entry.

And I agree with @littlecammi, you need an Oktoberfest and while you are at it a Taito Ice Cold Beer

My first thought was that this was Walter White's gameroom.

I had to look up Copperopolis because of the name and the BTTF references. Did not disappoint. Don’t want to know how much a house goes for over there, especially on the river.

Also, that basement brewery... Jesus Christ. This thread also never disappoints.

I posted my game room/diner/movie theater/bar/ electric brewery a few weeks back. Course it doesn't really compare with the Blichman setup. I did just get my stainless sink that ill be installing at some point. I see he is below grade and has a sink pump. Exactly what I will be using too!

How is the dart board backboard holding up? I looked it up on amazon and it’s pretty ingenious. Been looking for a good dart board backboard for years

Works great. I have the same one. It just locks together and friction fits around the board. Darts stick into it like the dartboard. Highly recommend

The extended length is the way to go too. I had the other that was square and a lot of stray darts hit wall below it. Not anymore

Whoa, you made your basement a diner?!?
That’s awesome!! Love the vibes from that.

I’m looking at buying my first house now. Viewing of my two top choices on Sunday!! Hopefully they aren’t crap lol. Looking for a fixer-upper type cuz I’m gonna be ripping it apart and remodeling anyway, haha!
Told my boyfriend that we figure out the pinball rooms first, THEN everything else. Slowly, he’s getting into it; at first he thought pinball was confusing and difficult. Found out he was intimidated by my “skill” (every non-Pinhead always seems to think we’re amazing players when we complete basic shots lol!)

I’m using a lot of these gameroom photos for idea how to turn the entire house into a badass man cave.

I built my own using some scrap cedar. Ripped a bunch of 1" strips and PL300 glued them to a 3/4" piece of melamine I had laying around. The ledge is great for holding your beer and as a first defense against dead darts.

Don't throw much but has been hit a few times. Adds character. Holding up good
