Quoted from EJS:I like cards, poker etc, but you could move that table into the kitchen (upstairs) and fit (what looks like) 3 or 4 more games there.
You did a great job with the bar.
gorditas I'm with EJS. I love pool, but it takes up a lot of space. Depending on how much you play poker, a poker table and a pool table may be sort of redundant.
I have a 9' table in my basement. I got a decent leather(ish) cover for it. I cut a sheet of plywood in half and added felt to each piece (I recently had the felt replaced, but the old stuff was salvageable for this purpose). They're easy to handle and fit right on top of the cover. It offers both a recessed and slightly elevated surface for cards and board games. The chair height is a little tough. I had some lower kitchen bar stools I used at my old place, and they worked pretty well. I got rid of them, completely forgetting how useful they were for poker. Since then I got a drafting chair and that seems like it can position to a decent height.
It looks like you have a 7' or 8', so the stretches aren't too awful over that size. If you're not super serious about poker, and the sole host, it's something to consider just ditching the poker table altogether and providing a bit more utility to the pool table.
I can post some pictures of my setup if you're interested.
