    Quoted from Waldo:

Few additions and subtractions to the lineup.

Interesting idea lining the walls of the rack room with Linacoustic. I have a decent amount left from my theater build just taking up space. I didn't do drywall in the rack room, so I'm not sure how effective it would be just on the studs. I do like the idea though of knocking down some of the sound from the rack and the HVAC system.

Beautiful theater by the way. I'm embarrassed to show mine after seeing yours.

    Did you build it yourself?

I think I'll move to Colorado, there must be something in the air there that promotes big fantastic game rooms! I was bored and surfing Youtube the other day and I typed in "game rooms" to see what I might find. There were some giant ones of course, but right there near the top I found one that started looking very familiar (the floor is the giveaway), it was ramegoom's place, also in CO of course and the subject of many posts here. Great video showing all the cool stuff there.

My current lineup. Upstairs game room: Genie, Comet, SM$M, and Quick Draw. Downstairs: HS2, Fish Tales, Taxi, Mata Hari, and SW Premium. I just got the Fish Tales this week, I'm gonna give it 'The Bob treatment"....new cab decals and the whole enchilada!

Few additions and subtractions to the lineup. Still waiting impatiently for my TBL to ship. That will be it on pins for awhile. Would love to find more true arcade games like an Off-Road, Super Mario Bros, Joust, BBH HD or many other ones but the Arcade1ups were cheap and kids seem to love them. The Valve Index VR machine is crazy fun. Also added the video poker and slot machine to the main bar area. I blame COVID for all this.

No I’m not that talented. My time was better served picking up extra work to pay someone good to do it right.

My super humble game room. Nothing like the home mega-arcades I see posted on here, but loving what I have. A work in progress as artwork goes, but pretty much maxed out on pin/arcade space right now. There is another smaller loft area I could take over so who knows. Might use it if the right pin comes along.

And, yes, that is a blacklight foosball table!

Thanks! If you own a Warrior Table Soccer foosball table, it already comes with the holes for screwing on the holder for the blacklight. They sell the full kit to convert it and it is totally worth it (blacklight men on rods, 4 blacklight balls, holder and light tubes, and blacklight handle wraps.

I was lucky to find my table on CL for $150, so I just used my savings to splurge on the kit. The other awesome thing about their tables are the rod guards, so kids never get hurt (great since I have a 5-year old who likes to play).

Actually, I do have a Warrior foosball table! Had no idea they offered this. Definitely going to look into it now. Thanks for sharing! And yes, lots of kids in my family so the rod guards are a huge plus. When I was a kid I used to get drilled running past the older tables, haha.

That is awesome! The blacklight kit can be ordered directly on their website. If I remember correctly, they're based out of San Francisco and I talked to them a few times with questions before purchasing. Super nice group of people, very responsive over email as well, and kept me up to date on the process/shipping. By the way, they discounted me for the blacklight tubes, as they were unable to source them at the time of my order (it was the beginning of the pandemic and much of CA was shut down). If they still don't have them, I found a great site that sells them so let me know if you need that info.

The picture doesn't even do it justice. In a dark room it really glows and it's a blast following that ball. Yes, definitely enjoyed by all the casual players and kids. Makes foosball "hip" again.

Is it [TWD] a flowing game like Aerosmith, or trap and shoot like ACDC?

For big scores, you'll want to trap and shoot.

Really makes a difference. Makes the room actually seem bigger.

Looks great, is that reclaimed lumber? I’m getting ready to do the exact same thing in my game room, I located the lumber today and will be picking it up sometime next week.

No. It's actually just 4x8 panels from hardware store. It was $54 CDN a sheet. 4 sheets total. Much cheaper. The look great. But when you feel them they are just smooth But the stairwell leading to the games room is reclaimed stuff. The pic with the Shakespeare bust is looking out the games room hidden door to the landing. We should have the stairs and railings here in about 2+ more weeks.
A few finishing touches left stiil. And organizing the final layout

loving that people are putting pachinko and pachislo machines in to their rooms. Not everyone's cup of tea I get it, but a great and flashy way to use some otherwise dead wall-space most of the time. And especially cool if you can find a theme you love.

KozMck Arcade drink caddie. It is fully modular, has 4 different orientations with the same bracket, right side of the cab (as shown), left side of the cab, left front and right front. There are 2 configurable heights, the one pictured is the lower position. The cup holder can be replaced, it is screwed onto the horizontal bracket. The cup holder shown has the medieval theme and can be deployed to MM and all its variations. Hand painted. Customizable cup holder for other pin themes.

    I hope you like it.

Looks like it sticks out rather long from the game if you have several games next to each other. Isn't it prone to breaking if you bump into it also for the same reason?

Mounts in front as well, on both sides as needed as well as both sides, 4 different positions with the same leg mounting bracket. You are correct the distance from the cab in all cases is the same. I could take 1/2 inch off of the leg mounting bracket distance but I did not want it to come anywhere near the cab. I also thought about making the cup holding bracket able to rotate closer to the cab, before setting its position. That would be easy to do. It works great for me as-is. The bracket is reversible, position wise and height wise. Thanks for the feedback I was hoping for that. This is a project for my home arcade only.

Got rid of the home theatre and declared that room the new and improved game room. Still some work to do. Waiting for lit frames and another pf to hang up(won an autographed stern jp pf). Fireplace is gonna come out if we decide to stay in this house. More room for 1-2 more games.

Still need to fix the infinity lighting on the juke. Converted to MP3 but you wouldn’t know by using it unless you looked inside. Behaves as original but with uno mega with mp3 shield. Video of juke “behaviour”:

    Quoted from cait001:

loving that people are putting pachinko and pachislo machines in to their rooms. Not everyone's cup of tea I get it, but a great and flashy way to use some otherwise dead wall-space most of the time. And especially cool if you can find a theme you love.

Built one into a wall. But wall space is premium in any game room, so I kind of wish I put it into a door instead.

I just bought a bunch of reclaimed wood from an old man in NC that takes down old tobacco barns. I wanted to make the bathroom near the pool look like an old sharecropper shack outhouse. The newspapers on the wall are all from WWII. Just found the perfect old Squirt sign from the 50’s. Still waiting on plumbing rough in so I can finish. So there is no bathroom in the arcades, but at least we have an outhouse close by now!

That's awesome. Those other buildings look cool too.

    Quoted from Bundy:

Looks like it sticks out rather long from the game if you have several games next to each other. Isn't it prone to breaking if you bump into it also for the same reason?

    How's this positioning?
