    You guys have cool uncles.

    #15452 3 years ago
    Quoted from Mr_Outlane:

My uncle had one of these for his basement bar in the 70's.
    [quoted image]

My uncle had the same one but lost it in a hurricane. I’ve always wanted one but haven’t found one yet.

    #15453 3 years ago

I would get one of those, but apparently our bar is always open...

    Quoted from xsvtoys:

I don’t think there are too many of those around. There is a working one at PHOF in Las Vegas, we ran it through its paces on a visit there last year. I already forgot what it made, I think maybe a dinosaur.

The Milwaukee Zoo in WI has at least a dozen of them still churning out overpriced plastic animals. Still really cool though!

Kalahari Resort has at least two also. Once near the indoor waterpark and one at the other end of the campus by their arcade, just past the pub.

Looking for a decent commercial level margarita machine. Not looking to break the bank (around 1k)

    Also commercial breathalyzer.

If anyone has any leads or info on what to look out for it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I certainly am. Take a look at my game house in this thread. I need one.

I need to update my pics too. Lots of new toys!

Any info on the breathalyzer would be great. I want a wall mounted model.

    Thanks

Been looking for one too, wall mounted one. I want to put a high score board next to it and also have it on my kiosk with the iscored high score software.

    #15469 3 years ago

A guy a few pages back had one of these. Thinking about getting one but seeing if there is other feedback out there.

    Thanks

My newest game room addition. After looking for over a year I found one for $1800, the only catch was I had to complete a playfield swap that had already been started After much frustration I still am missing the diverter but it’s together now! I need a new translite too as this one is shot but I was more worried about getting it together first

I guess I will share with everyone. They are HILARIOUS at parties (not that I have had any, or even been to one recently, of course)

I have this Coin-op Breathalyzer. It works pretty good, found it NOS cheap on eBay a while back. Have had a few of the larger talking ones, they never worked right, always required Calibration, and the sensors failed often. Funny thing is, this one came from a seller in Florida, but has Rhode Island legal limit info on the front (I'm in RI).

A guy whose handle is Irishbastard has a breathalyzer! Classic!

Well, searching through my old eBay emails, I see I bought one for .99 cents and another for $79. I'm going to assume it's the $79 one. Was brand new in the box when I got it.

Yea, booze was my friend lol. Currently Dry since March 8th though, so I won't be using that Breathalyzer any time soon hopefully.

I am of Irish descent, and I certainly like to imbibe in a few drinks...but an unpleasant doctor visit has led to me doing VERY little here lately. I have had fewer drinks in the last 10 months combined than I used to enjoy in a single evening. Seriously.

Same here, great grandparents came off the boat. Yup, my "don't drink for a week prior to blood work" scheme didn't do it's job this past spring lol.

Speaking of drinking, anyone else have a "Car Bar" in their collection?

Looks nice . . . until you step through the door and see the rest of the car sticking out into the yard.

Not so much a gameroom, but more so my current lineup. It goes Baywatch, Super Mario Bros, Monopoly, Terminator 2, Star Wars Trilogy, and then a Star Wars themed retropie powered arcade cabinet.

    Nice gameroom!

    2 questions:

    1) which one is your favorite pin in the lineup?

    2) how many games on the retropie?

    1) I know its cliche, but that's a tough question. They all play a bit differently. I would say currently its Monopoly, though for the longest time it was Super Mario Bros. I also just got T2 and Star Wars Trilogy, so one of those may take the top spot yet (I'm really loving Star Wars Trilogy so far). Baywatch has really solid gameplay, and the color dmd is beautiful.
2)I believe its just under 3000 games. I have complete collections on it for the NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega Master System, Sega Gamegear, Turbografx, and NeoGeo Pocket Color. I may be forgetting a system or two as well.

Not a massive bet i spose.

Speaking of car bars, Pete’s Garage in Monroe Michigan made several classic old cars into seating booths. They removed the doors and seats and replaced them with a table and two car bench seats facing each other. This effect should be available for viewing on the internet.

Having written games for several of those systems, I'm curious if they include any/all of mine.

Any chance it includes Star Trek : The Next Generation for NES & GameGear, or Goofy's Hysterical History Tour for Genesis, or Star Trek : Generations for GameGear?

I can definitively check this evening.
Just as a side note, I absolutely loved the sega gamegear growing up, so its really neat to hear from someone who actually helped produce games for the system. That's rad! Are you ok with the idea of them being emulated? Just wanting to make sure I'm reading your post correctly as one of curiosity, and not dislike for the idea of what a retropie is.
