Very nice game line up. Refreshing to see someone who owns games that weren't made in the past 7 years. Now your place I would play for hours since they are harder to find.

Thanks, welcome to come play if you’re ever in NC. I remember when I looked for WCS94 because it wasn’t on location anywhere.

There's just something about that nighttime glow of the game rooms...

I like how the AFM topper is shoehorned into the ceiling.

It's only a single-player, but I bet it gets a lot of use.
    And it's built like, well . . . a tank.

    Alright Guys,

Here is a plain room packed with stuff. I've posted before, and changed the game lineup a bit. One day, I will get an awesome basement that you all show in these posts. Keep posting your awesome and creative game rooms.

Hey amstrick! I bought it through ebay around 4 or 5 years ago. I can get seller info for you if interested.

Thanks! It's mostly for retro gaming, but it takes up valuable real estate for potential pins . I had to sell Gottlieb Amazing Spider-Man to make room for Judge Dredd.

Looks like we had some overlap! I’m class of 2000 per my handle. Always good to see fellow Spartans! Pinball Pete’s was my stomping ground back in the day. Went back about 5 years ago and there was only about 2-4 pins and a ton of redemption games. So depressing.

Slight shuffle in the front pinball lineup. The Munsters rental was swapped out for Jurrasic Park. Great upgrade too!

Extremely cool Adventurer-theme. It reminds me of The Explorers Club they used to have at Disney's Pleasure Island. I couldn't identify all your games from the pic, but if you don't have an Indiana Jones, I would think that would fit the theme perfectly. Either way, nicely done.

Like that for me too all the time. I built a container house inside my warehouse where i run my internet business. I have a front games room with 4 machines in front of the house (still in the shed) and a back games room with room for twenty. Then my work is next bay over.

I do not condem the mini arcades, only have a question.
I always thought that mini arcades have 4K+ games on them. So you should have two, one in landscape and one in portrait. Then you have 8K games to play, so why so many?

Love the arcade1ups, they're reasonably priced and a hell of a lot of fun. Don't fret what the purest might think, your room rocks!

I agree. I have -next to my three dedicated cabinets (in NL these are very hard to find) two Neo Geo generic cabinets. One has the monitor in the portrait orientation, the other at landscape. Problem solved, more room for pins and arcade stuff.

I don't like those arcade1up cabs but I guess they serve a purpose. And hey, if you must pay like 75 dollars for a cab with a game (licensed I guess), LCD monitor, speakerset and a control panel this a fokking cheap deal.

Where are you getting these for $75 ? I paid $150 for Galaga/Galaxian + $40 for the riser. I know when they first came out Walmart I think did have them that cheap but I've never seen it. I think you get more than the bucks you pay for one but I also can see the purist wanting the originals, I mean like a pin who wouldn't. Space is the biggest factor for me combined with being a cheapass they work well for me.

Many were marked down to $75 a while back, and then $50 a few weeks ago. (Some areas even had Star Wars for $50 recently)

Try $400 Canadian for 1ups in Canada.
I just sold my mk3 mame for $600 with 8000 games in it. But that sucker weighed like 400 pounds and was just about as long as pin. Only good thing about the 1ups I can tell is the size and weight. And good luck playing another adult a co-op game on 1ups without bruising each other.

I also have this mame/arcade system that has 25,000 games on it but to be honest it is somewhat cumbersome to move around in if you don't know the exact platform you need to get in but it does work well.

I have multiple arcade1up’s. For years I’ve just had a full sized 4-player MAME with 20000 games. Problem is when people are over the guys would play golden tee in between a 4 player game on pinball. Then everyone else just stood around. I also have furnace ducts that give us limited head room along one wall that full sized games will never fit under.

Now I have a golden tee arcade1up for the guys. A Pac-Man because of the 4-way joystick. Mortal Kombat because the 5 button layout is unique and I hate playing it on a 6 button layout. My street fighter cab I modded with a Pandora’s box so that it now has about 50 for the best fighter games.

Usually we play nba jam on my full size cabinet because I think the arcade1up 4 player cabs look cramped.

The main reason for multiple cabinets imho is for multiple people to play and different control setups appropriate for those games.

Thanks. Wanted to do something different around the support poles instead of just boxing it in. Took a while to do each pole but we like the results

The way you alternated the wood end grain makes it look like individually stacked blocks.
