Quoted from LargemouthAss:Made a lineup change. TNA is out, AFMrSE is in! Loving it! No room for more than 5 machines until my kids grow up and no longer need half the room as a play room...
See you still have the roadshow! Hope its treating you well. Your collection has certainly expanded!
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Nice Earthbound! I also own one of those CIB.
Used to have hagane cib but sold it lol

Great lineup variation
Quoted from Pugsley:Like the oddball neon signs.
Thanks. I am all about the oddball neon signs. Every tom dick and harry collect beer and liquor signs. They are everywhere. Just look at craigslist, offerup and let-go. I try to find the weird, unique, one-off signs.
Here's one I found for the grill area. It wasn't working... needed a transformer. I got it for $40.

Thanks. That's superbikes 2. I bought it from T-Pain's private home arcade about 2 years ago. And, the girl posing on it is Kylie Janae... an actress on the recent Netflix series "Ozark". She was one of the strippers in the strip club.

Wanted to give an update. About this time a year ago my wife and I decided to finish our basement. We had no intention of doing it because the prices we were seeing were simply out of our price range, especially considering the fact we wanted to add some games, etc. After much debate we decided to do everything on our own. Keep in mind everything is not technically perfect, but we made the most of the space and resources we had and made it our own.
The aquarium is a 220 gallon tank I got that children's hospital had gotten rid of. Structurally the stand is made from 4x4 pallet wood that sheet metal is shipped on, I had easy access to these as I worked in a sheet metal shop. The face wood/doors are a mix of cherry wood, and something I cant remember, haha. All from the local mill.
The tiki wall was recently hand painted by wife who is way more talented than I. The bamboo/fabric work was also done by my wife and the "Spooky Pineapple" sign she used a wood burner on. It was a recycled bourbon barrel end.
The bar is just some random bamboo bar we found on an auction site, cost about 15 bucks.
The lava wall was made from large foam blocks hand burned with some weird heat rod thing (unsure of the terminology).
I only ended up with enough room for 2 pinball machines, but we made use of the space we had.
Eventually I want to go behind the steps and drill out a bunch of holes and do some sort of light show as you walk down, but havent figured all of that out yet.

Looks great! What did your wife use to adhere the thatch/bamboo to the wall if I may ask? Glad you posted those pics because I have decided recently to do something similar myself.

Looks great Jan, I've always done my own.

Thank you! She basically used some cheap trim pieces she had left over to hold everything in place like a frame. There were some droopy parts in the center where gravity wanted to pull it away from the wall, so we simply used some thin gauge staples. Sounds cringe, but you literally can not see them, and in the event we ever need to do something different to the wall they will pull right out. No different than putting a thumb tack in etc. tiny hole.

Love the amount of shirtlessness going on there.
I have to say this is one of my favorite forums to follow. So many cool setups that everyone has, wish I could visit some of these places and enjoy the fun!

Great looking space. I love the aquarium. Any pics of behind the wall? Do you have plumbing back there to make water changes easier?

About pissed myself. Lol
There was a revival of the schoolyard tradition of dacking when your hands are full that day.
Thankfully there has been no repeat. I'm the one with the sleeves.

Is there just no AC in there of what?

NICE! someone should start an aquarium pinside thread. I would be like a kid in a candy store. Love automated stuff like this. I have alexa routines for feeding the fish that shut down the pumps for 20 mins, etc.
