I love polynesian bars and black lights. I'm so jealous! If your ever in Chicago hit up 3 Dots and a Dash. Reminds me of your place.

Quoted from jandrea95:Our project over the past few months. Wife wanted a tiki bar and I wanted a small game room. Very happy with how everything is thus far.

That's neat but put a 20 inch floresent on the bottom of that game, it will REALLY light up that bl carpet and highlight the pin.

Thanks for the tip!! The carpet can be so much better with a true uv light. Agree 100 percent
Curious if under cab will light up all the carpet, or if ill need to ceiling mount, but I guess only one way to find out! Trying to capture the carpet and potentially slimmer with the uv (wife painted it in UV paint) but also have enough ambient light to see the amazing Metallica side art which I am failing in all areas at doing now.

I mentioned this to my wife and she said it was actually partially inspired by that place, haha. Also Union KY? Small world we live in.

Love the Spooky Pineapple sign and the overall mash up theme - very clever!

^^^^ this. Very nicely done!
Quoted from drfrightner:We have a haunted house and I bought damn near every horror themed pinball and added it to the exit of our haunt. So you have horror themed pins surrounded by monsters, autographs, and so much more. Check it out. If you're ever in St Louis stop by... these pinballs are only avail to play in September, October and early November. After that they sit there doing nothing, other than we open for one day for Christmas, Valentines and one special event in March. Yeah they just sit there year around.
is there a good place to learn about the history of the American Haunted House phenomenon? I'm assuming it's a predominantly American thing, right? (like, the big ones)
What a great lineup, and I love the alternate translates.

I agree, it looks awesome! Tiki is great because you can damn well mix and match pretty much whatever you want - Polynesian, Hawaiian, surf culture, fishing stuff, heck any ocean/beach stuff, and pretty much any manner of kitsch. As long as you are sure to combine it all together with some cool cocktails and as much bamboo as possible, you will have a winner every time.
My dream is to have a tiki game room and have this pinball in there.

Same initials for high scores too, weird? We'll have to catch up sometime.

I wish I could find a Gottlieb Paradise but have never come across one. I have an Aloha though!
Quoted from Red_Devils:I know it's the wrong Enterprise for the topper but I think it's cool
I think it's the best Enterprise.
Awesome space by the way!

Quality beats quantity if you ask me.
Quoted from Bundy:Quality beats quantity if you ask me.
Until you see some of the incredible game rooms in this thread where they have both.
Four awesome pins! Four is the perfect number for me. It's what I have room for and as many as I care to own at once.
May get there one day!
Quoted from radium:I wish I could find a Gottlieb Paradise but have never come across one. I have an Aloha though!
I know someone selling one right now that's cheap and within driving distance from you. Pm me if interested.
Made a few changes in the last while. Got rid of a spare bedroom that only my drunk friends would stay in and replaced it with a little movie theatre.
Also sold a pin, moved some stuff around and got a Lane Master bowling game.
Family loves both additions!
Here is the theatre:

The poker table is really slick looking and the sport touches are layed out great. Great decision on the theatre over a guest room and that lane master looks like a blast. Hope to find one to try someday. What can you tell us about that driving rig? I've slowly been collecting parts and looking to build out something similar over the winter. Thanks
Wow amazing space
That’s the best poker table I’ve even seen
Custom made?
Did you make it ? Awesome!

Love the poker table. Always nice to see another Oilers fan!
Quoted from chriz99:Upgraded my Gameroom with some cool Pac-Man and ghost lamps. The ghosts are RGB controllable via remote control. I wired them all togehter, so I need only one power adapter for a cleaner look
cheers

You'll need overhead uv light too.

Thanks man! Most appreciated.
Here are some more pictures of the driving setup. The cockpit is an Obutto. Very sturdy frame. Seat adjusts just like a car seat (forward and back and tilts). The wheel and pedals are a Logitech G29 with an older shifter from a G27 that still works. Its currently hooked up to a PS3, but I also swap my PS4 in sometimes, and even use the Playstation VR with Gran Tursimo or Driveclub VR for the full experience. Also have a Buttkicker hooked up to the bottom for a rumble effect. Then a receiver and speakers. Its a big hit at parties as my drunk driving simulator.
Here is the maker of the cockpit. They have different versions for sale.

Thanks so much!
I did have the poker table custom made from a guy in Vancouver (Chanman Poker Tables) who does amazing work. I would highly recommend him. He is not happy until you are happy. And he expertly wraps and pallets it up. 3 other guys in my poker league have ordered from him and all love his stuff. I added a couple of side tables with wheels for drinks (I didn't want cupholders on my table to have idiots spill their drinks on my table, but you can put cupholders into the rails if you like). I also had him add a chip drawer to hold all my chips and cards. The side rails with the advertising are lit by a battery under the table (so no cord to trip over). I custom designed the advertising on the boards and the playing surface to look like Rogers, with a cool ice effect. The beauty of the table is that the playing surface is a custom gaming cloth, so the cards slide perfectly. You can deal from one end and get the cards to the other side with little to no effort. You can even rim cards around the boards.

Wish I could come over and play but alas in Ohio lol
One day I will watch oilers live in Edmonton

Let me know the next time you’re in town.

Right?! I think the boards are the topper. So cool. Very realistic. Now if you could get them to change like they do at Rogers
Quoted from Apollyon:Let me know the next time you’re in town.
Dude! Appriciated bro. Will do
Quoted from yzfguy:Nice troll doll that table is gonna take a while to go thru.
that's my 5 year old son's lego table. The troll doll is a kreo brick figure. Yep they make lego trolls.

That really does look cool! So they are all just squares and you glue them straight down?
Quoted from Micky:That really does look cool! So they are all just squares and you glue them straight down?
Yes. All 18 inch squares. Had to cut a few. Not the same size but close. I was going for a 3D look of some sort. I didn’t want just reg carpet or one color.
