    Quoted from xsvtoys:

I'm sure I'm not the first to think this, but these recent posts made something pop in my head. If you have a game room with a nice pool table like this, well then, does at least one of your pins have to have a pool/billiards theme to go with it?
If I had room, I'd love to have a pool table with an EBD next to it.

True but I like pinball way more then pool so I usually just stick to the pinball themes that I enjoy. EBD is a great classic but nothing for my taste really stands out to me for a game I really want that is pool themed. Maybe a Big Shot EM but yeah

I’m ready to let our pool table go. It’s a nice table but takes up space of 4-5 pins. I’m only working with about 600 sq ft so gotta prioritize.

    Quoted from Raegor:

Think that's impressive? Look at his "owned in the past" list...
395 if my count is correct

Count incorrect, or maybe I haven't added everything. I have a running list that is at 587 games owned. Not bad for 26, eh?

WOW! At 26 my wife and I were living in a one bedroom apartment, the idea of owning a single pinball machine was a dream.

Looking through your list I see a lot of games sold multiple times, is this a business for you? Awesome collection BTW!

We have a pool table in our game room, and also a Capcom Breakshot pinball. Not intentionally, but it goes well with the pool table. Also had this made by Stan Fukuoka:

Finally filled in all four spots. Two more games in shop and will rotate them into lineup when done and pull a game to clear coat and cosmeticaly restore. Its amazing how big a four game collection feels! Have to dedicate a bit of time if I want to play them all.

This is my limit- it feels like enough games to keep me busy and the room looks fun!

Thank you! I actually got the idea from another Pinside thread a number of years ago. When we remodeled the basement my wife let me design the mirror into it and outlets for pins and even the sign. I built a DMX RGBW controlled two zone system for the lights- those are suspended from a lighting tray sitting 8 inches from the ceiling that runs around the entire room. Kids love to change the lights so you never know what the vibe of the room might be from day to day

The Neon was an ebay purchase from a well known cheap neon MFG. It looks good but uses plastic shrink wrap to change colors.

My buddy had his gameroom set up just like that. A row of pins on one side and a pool table with an EBD sitting beside it on the other side of the room. Ended up selling the EBD. Now wants to sell his pool table. Anyone want to buy a pool table in the York Pa area let me know. It’s a coin-op barroom table.

ICK! Buddy of mine is getting a neon plant up and running in his barn this summer. I hope to learn how to make signs.... then ill have some good ones to offer at pinball expo and such.

    #13524 4 years ago

Yeah- the ebay neon adds seem to conspicuously avoid mentioning how many tubes they use! Oh well.

To be honest- for the price its damn hard to compete. Real is better... but maybe not reasonable for this type of product as cost is 3-10x

After seeing all the incredible gamerooms on this forum, I am blown away by the creativity and size of the collections. I have my little bonus room down here in NC. I miss having a basement like we did growing up in Michigan. My collection is small, but I'm content. Always looking for new ways to rearrange and redo the room. Maybe I'll get some gameroom carpet, or some laminate flooring. Also thinking of getting brick wall paper, but it's getting congested with the stuff that's already in place.

Fyi - I keep the blinds and curtains closed, and I cover Spidey when not in use.

My game room is shared with my kids as their playroom. Essentially I get part of a wall and they get the rest. They are 8 and 5 now so in time their toys will go the way of the yard sale and my space for pins will increase. Until then this is what I have and I am quite pleased with it:

Looks awesome and great lineup!! Old guy experience, while pins are awesome enjoy Every minute of seeing your kids play with those toys on the floor. They grow up SO fast and you sadly never get those times back. You can find ANY pin Anytime but the your kids hanging out playing on the floor are a one time deal. I miss it honestly.

Absolutely love this thread! It is what Pinside should be all about, versus the bickering and angry opinions.

I will post a video/pix of my game room once I am finished. Won't compare to most of you guys/gals, but WOW! you have all done an amazing job.

Seriously, my compliments to you all

Quick question...where can I buy some decent movie posters to adorn a corridor leading to my theater area? Google searches all come up disappointing at the moment.

Don't be shy. Mine has been a work in progress for about 3 years and I still post pictures sometimes.

I want to see the theater.

I made a digital movie poster to put on the wall leading up to my theater, but the walkway isn't very long. It's in this thread somewhere.

    EDIT -> Found it.

I picked up my movie posters on Amazon. Just be wary of really cheap offerings, as they tend to come in poor shipping tubes and have wrinkles in them. It's pretty easy to send them back and get a refund if this does happen.

I used to work in an arcade back when Cyber Sled first came out, and it's one of the games I put a ton of time on with my friends. I have reason to believe this is the same game I played all those years ago, but I can't verify it. I'll just assume it is and be happy. The game still holds up well after all this time.

So question for you guys and gals that have multiple rows of pins facing each other. How much space are you leaving between them so you can comfortably remove the glass and work on them without having to physically move machines? I’m getting to that point where if I get another machine I’ll need to rearrange games and will probably configure 2 rows of games.

Thanks. The ramps are cheap on the game. But overall, I really like the game and the flow. I don’t understand when I hear the shots or the game is clunky. Tilttopper.com makes great toppers including hulk, xmen, and Star Trek.

Ghostbusters would also look good in slime green.
