    Quoted from CollinT:

Down to 4 in the apartment. Ran out of room and had my Pinbot in the guest bathroom for two months. My lady is pleased it has been moved to my brother in laws house.[quoted image]

    Nice row!

Pinbot in the bathroom? Surely you're talking about the Nintendo game, right?

    @ajnada

Thanks! I wish it was the Nintendo game, would have been easier to move.

If I put the legs in the bathtub, you could play while sitting on the toilet.

I think that is brilliant, pinball while on the shitter!
I would have to get a divorce first

    #13454 4 years ago

You could totally repaint the cabinet while taking a dump. When you're done with one side, flip it around and do the other side.

Yuck lol. Magazines that go into the bathroom never leave. I guess the pin would stay too!

I hope people weren't having long steamy showers in there otherwise you might have some problems down the road.

    #13457 4 years ago

Hopefully you left a night light on or SURPRISE!

It would be funny to connect it to a motion sensor that turns the game on.

Instead of asking if a pin has ever been routed, my new question will be if it's ever been 'bathroomed'.

    Awesome pic!

At least it is a PinBot and not a Whirlwind, so no worrying about if the __ hits the fan.

The only complete collection of system 11s in the US.

A collection like this should be in a museum. Finish off the rest of the basement and charge admition. Superb!

My games room here. Haven't put any machines in it yet, still got room in my family room (seeing as i left the family behind).
    office38 (resized).jpgoffice38 (resized).jpgoffice39 (resized).jpgoffice39 (resized).jpgoffice41 (resized).jpgoffice41 (resized).jpg

There's a mezzanine on top of the office so i think i've got room for at least 100 pins.

Now i just need the cash.

Insulate the garage door and it will drop the temperature by 20°. I used two layers of the foam board insulation with the aluminum facer and it made a huge difference.

You could also install a mini split air conditioner. It basically adds another room to your house.

Close those blinds!!! That Arizona sun will fade that art , and you’ll be not happy
    How do you like guardians??

On that, i´ve noticed black lights beeing popular, whats the take on that in regards to plastics?

    #13474 4 years ago

On a side note, while making it, I had one of those "once you see it, it can never be unseen" moments:
I give you Blinky, Pinky, Inky... and Groot???[quoted image]

Clyde must be really pissed. If you get the simpson pinball, maybe inky will start worry about turning into bart?

Great idea btw, it looks really good.

That's what I love best about this hobby. Different strokes for different folks. Some guys want rows of sterns. Some want a few from all generations. Some want all the system 11s (my choice) and guys like you want Ems galore! There's something for everyone.

I'm finally at a good point where I'm ready to share my gameroom with family and friends again. I took on this project with severely limited experience and knowledge but had a ton of help from friends on completing this. Dealing with the stress of this renovation was taxing to say the least and a very hard time. With my basement torn up and flooding at the same time was probably the worst of it all but I'm happy with the result.

Nice work on your game room! I’m guessing your a Metallica fan. Last year my friend was at the park in Chicago the day before the Metallica show and ran into Lars. My friend was wearing a Metallica shirt and Lars walks up and says hey, nice shirt.

Great job!! It looks very nice and professional, the color scheme works great, lots of fun about to be had in that spot. I bet it feels great to finally relax and enjoy the area with friends and family!

    #13491 4 years ago

Feels awesome to have done yes and thanks on the color scheme comments guys. I just got rid of my old red top pool table the other day after I took those pictures. I'm getting a nicer table and I'm not sure what felt color I'm going to do. I went with the red walls knowing that the pool table would be temporary and I would get a different one. I'm thinking of light grey , Any ideas?

Aw come on, NONE of those Star Trek games are System 11!

And HOLY COW that is impressive! I always wondered what the whole series of System 11 games would look like. Now I know. Ivan tried rather successfully to have a System 11 row one year at Allentown, but I don' thtink they were all there.

    Well done sir. WELL DONE!

With red walls; blacks, grays and browns would look best. I suppose it depends what material your table is made of as well. From your pictures, charcoal or a light khaki color would be my choice.

Nice work on the room - looks great!

    #13500 4 years ago

I'm sure I'm not the first to think this, but these recent posts made something pop in my head. If you have a game room with a nice pool table like this, well then, does at least one of your pins have to have a pool/billiards theme to go with it?

If I had room, I'd love to have a pool table with an EBD next to it.
