Quoted from PinballSTAR:Check our my gameroom - 120 or so games - 1/2 arcade and 1/2 pinball - ranging from 1930's to today... I'm big on variety - all eras of pinball - pre-war, woodrail, wedgeheads, to today... Same thing on the arcade side - all eras, pitch and bats, gun games, sports manikin games, vending, slot machine, shuffle games, etc...
I have never posted pictures on line of my collection - just too lazy, but recently I did post them on our Facebook Page for PinballSTAR Amusements... Keyword : PinballSTAR Amusements
Enjoy

That's what I like to hear! Awesome stuff. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Lumberyard showed up early with our material deliver so the trim guy got everything in today. Here is a video of where we are at so far.

That looks very nice. Very professional and good color shade coordination. What is the room size? Kinda hard to tell with the fish eye lens.
Quoted from blondetall:Just finished up my second pin room last night. The walls will eventually be white, but didnt have time to paint and grt everything else finished up for my tiny family tournament today.
Sweet! Nice Portal memorabilia
I documented my addition here on pinside (search pin room tips) and I'm finally ready to post a short video of my room. We haven't built the bar yet but it will replace the stereo rack and I plan to pull the couch out then and use 2 single loungers.
Here's the vid
One speaker is out of place because I was working on DESW (recent buy in bundle from ex-op)and forgot to move back before shooting.

Thanks! I'm putting up a thread of more pics since I'm hosting a surprise tournament for my family today, and you can see more Portal things in the pics there. I've got a big test chamber sign outside the bedroom door and a shower curtain (replacing the closet doors) you can't see in this pic.

Any room with a pinball machine is better than any other room without one

Quoted from Roostking:There are some great ideas in here. I should be closing on my new house next month and moving in shortly there after. Here is what I have to work with.
Nice space, how many pins need to fit there?
Quoted from RyThom:Wow! There are a lot of really enviable game rooms here, but Garrett - I'm with o-din: CLASSY! My living room is a similar shade of red. Even if it wasn't for the pins, that looks like an incredible place to unwind and get away from it all.
I agree and you have given me some inspiration! What color is the "Red" or whatever. I think I will be doing something similar.
Quoted from chalkup8:Nice space, how many pins need to fit there?
Hah, one so far! I have METLE on order, but am already looking for more pins and some video games now. I figure 3 or 4 pins, a pool table or air hockey, and a 60 in 1 type video game/cocktail table will be perfect.
Quoted from shock_me:^^^ yup that'll work! Congrats on the new digs
Thanks man, not quite there yet, but it should happen. What do you guys think of replacing the tile with wood flooring?
Quoted from Roostking:What do you guys think of replacing the tile with wood flooring?
I really like the tile, but you may need little mats in front of the games if you don't wear shoes in there. Wood floors are beautiful, but you'd have to take precautions with the leg levelers so that you wouldn't scratch them.
Quoted from Roostking:What do you guys think of replacing the tile with wood flooring?
I like the tile personally, especially for a game room.
Not to divert this thread too much... But tile in the gameroom... holds up well? Vids on rollers? Pinball levelers? Pinball Dolly rolling around... all good?
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:Nice! When did you get a Godzilla?!
Chris
This past Saturday. I bought it back in Feb, but it was finally delivered in time for my 4th annual party.
