Wow! that's impressive. Love this game, such a rush when you find the final piece and blast everybody.

    Quoted from screaminr:

I used to love Heavy Barrel I could finish it with one man

This is what a game “room” looks like when you have a 1450sq ft house...

Looks good to me! My last house was 1060sq ft. I had Bad Cats in the dining room and Demolition Man and Safari in the tiny "finished" part of the basement.

Mine's 1200, you'll make room LOL. I remember when I thought four was my max. With a little creative re-arranging you can squeeze in four more no problemo

I use those pin skates things too, but never thought to leave them on. Do the games slide around a lot with those on?

My place is about 1200 I think and it looks like you still have room to grow a bit.
Great lineup, and nice dedicated Centipede.

Helluva game room right there - I would spend many many hours in that room. Nice line up of games!

To be honest I love to just sit back with them all on and just admire the view. Pinball games lit up are one of my favorite things to look at.

My wife and I were living in a 800sqft condo for four years and our games lived in the "live-itchen" (living room /kitchen). We finally closed on a house earlier this year and are now painting the game room!! more to come..

Absolutely! Will be two of the last to leave. They really can’t be beat for fast flowy fun times. So glad I didn’t let either go when I went through my trading rampage over the last year. Hope you’re digging yours!

Man I’m jealous of these huge lineups. Here’s my basement game room.

They do slide around some, I need to be able to move the games around to get to the shelves along that wall. Having them has allowed me to save quite a few STDM balls in high stress situations

I like the black acoustic tile ceiling. Debating between that and drywalling then painting.

You are right. It's an acoustic absorber with a sound insulation of aprox. -45dB.

I haven't studied up on my sound physics in quite a while... but if my math is correct, that means if you had a TNA it would drop the volume level by approximately 1%.

Might want to rethink dartboard location unless you don't mind holes in your doors!
I have same board and people shoot darts 2 feet off to the sides a lot... especially girls. LOL
I'm building one of these as we speak!

I made this simple backdrop for my step sons dart board. It catches 99% of the darts that miss the board.

Thanks! In hindsight, my comment sounded a bit whiny. I really love my game room. It took me 3-4 years of fixing and selling games to get to this point. Knowing the time and effort that goes into maintaining games, I have a lot of respect to those that have rows upon rows of games. That also takes a lot of work.

Yea I know there isn't a lot of room for error. I only play darts with friends who play darts. I guess I'll patch a few holes if we hit the doors but I definitely don't let my kids or their friends play! They can beat up on bubble hockey all they want though.

    #11826 5 years ago
    Quoted from weaverj:

You can only play one pin at a time.

My wife always says exactly this!
(When suggesting I sell some of the pins I already have or when preventing me from adding another.)

    #11827 5 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

    But that's only 9.

For pins Paul usually counts the number of leg-light-ups and then divides by four.

    #11828 5 years ago

Few things make me happier than seeing a bristle board on the wall. Takes up 0 active space, cost is extremely low, and offers a great passive activity to pinball.

Added some new games. Guitar hero, juke Box , Restored TAF.

Wow how good does that game look ! I'm not sure it was impressive it was just a matter of remembering what's in the boxes . I love it when the game calls out "Heavy Barrel" when you get all the bits to the gun, it was one of the few games I could finish like double dragon, just elbow everybody. I only have room for one arcade machine , I'm going to get a hyper spin ( please don't hate me ) can you play Heavy Barrel on Mame without the twisting joysticks ?
