Quoted from Blitzburgh99:Someone is a Mark Ritchie guy!!! That’s a great lineup. Very diverse.
he is verrrrry underrated. my first game was a Sorcerer. had a FT and Diner, too. can't beat 'em. wish he made more.

Tastefully done and a nice mix of something for everyone. Good thing you used the term family cave or the more sensitive on here would have gotten offended
Quoted from Cdonnerusmc:Just added Deadpool. Iron maiden will be here in a week and a half.

Great collection but talk to me about that large ARCADE sign. Whats the story on it?

Still waiting for you to start making them again

Good news on that front the cnc machining went perfect, he had to make a jig to hold it but that was expected, it takes his cnc 5 passes to cut each one. I ordered more plastics today, should have them in a week or sooner then they have to be machined but I don't know how long that will take, it all depends on his schedule. The best part is that his fee per piece didn't go up so my price stayed the same. I was really worried about that but I would have eaten it to give you guys the best price. Nd don't forget the first one is full price but all others after that are discounted $10. ANNND I had the cutout modified so that an led points straight up and lights the tip of the plastic REAL nice.

Thx! Yeah I wanted to have a nice mix so hopefully get the young and old to have fun! I like the way its setup and of course you can tell I planned the Basketball hoop to go away someday and 5 pinballs across that wall
Heres some more recent pictures of the two game rooms since I moved a bunch of stuff around.
Most of the pins are in one room, but theres overflow into the arcade room.
More games are in the garage, but were waiting till the summer is over and were going to insulate it and put in a mini split and make it a 3rd game room.
Recently finished my basement. Still needs some more toys and pins! Pictures loaded in an odd order, but oh well.

Wanted 20k or best offer, it was originally on the New Jersey boardwalk back in the early 60s. Anyway I worked out a good deal on it and bought it and had it shipped out to the Oregon coast. I since found led replacements out of an outfit in Colorado and it has cut way back on the power usage. Each section is 10 foot long by 4 foot tall .

A variety of places, but good stuff is often not easy or cheap.
A few from craigslist and places like that, but thats pretty dry these days.
Much like pinball you have to be quick on the good deals or they are gone in seconds.
Some I got over on KLOV, most from networking with other collectors, some at conventions like ZapCon and a small amount at auction.
Ive got close to 60 dedicated arcade game and its definitely a hunt to find anything good.
Much like pinball there is a growing interest in video games and prices have been escalating pretty rapidly.
The best deals are from networking with other collectors.

Do you ever hit up California Extreme?
http://www.caextreme.org
Its not all that far from where your located and theres normally some pretty good games for sale at the show.

Wow that's an amazing story. I never would have guessed it was what, twenty feet long? Looks smaller then that from the picture. Great job and it looks awesome, from one sign guy to another.

Never thought I would have "these kind of issues" when I bought the house 10 years ago

Man, those Pong tables are the price of a pinball. I can't see forking over that kind of cash on an arcade game unless its a pin..lol How do you like it?

Totally understand, I love it but it was more of a purchase for family and friends. Keep the rest of the family happy I dont get any crap about pinball machines coming in and out of the basement whenever I want

Uhm, yes. Wow, indeed. What a cool sign and a great story to go with it. Congrats on an amazing arcade!

I'm a sign guy so please keep me in mind should you ever decide to sell it. I've never been to Oregon but I can see me making the trip.

Coin dork,
That is a highly impressive collection of arcades you have there. There are several HOLY GRAIL vids in your collection that are extremely hard to locate, never mind pricing: Paperboy, Dragons Lair, Space Ace, Battlezone — All classics. Well done sir
One of my wife's coworkers painted the walls.
Looks better in person. Looks fantastic with the lights off and all the pins on.

I run a WTB ad that worked out well, plus lots or calls and emails.
