The GF after our housewarming party said no more parties
    She’ll come around eventually

So all that for a couple of people. Cool and enjoy!

Got this rug for 10 bucks new at an auction. It really ties the room together. Plus I actually had some time to work on my space this week.

Not the best but I love it. And still have tons of stuff to put on walls and shelves.

Plus I felt I should add to my favorite thread.

    Quoted from Rascal_H:

That’s a serious gameroom! Gorgeous! What are the floors...concrete?

Concrete, finished in polyaspartic, with several pounds of aluminum flakes mixed into the clear. Best floor ever for heavy machines.

I'm a big fan of the Nintendo trophies you have on your shelf. I had 5 growing up and just finished the full collection last year of Mario Zelda and Punch out.

July walk-thru in my game room. Gadgets seem to have taken over. Constantly evolving.

Wow... what a room. So many questions... wish the walk through included commentary, you have so many interesting gadgets. Thanks for sharing.

    Awesome!

Not much nudgin’ space between those backboxes though. How do you cope playing Iron Man without throwing it around?!?

I have to leave a 6” inch gap between games.

My game room is my kitchen/dining room. These two pins take up almost half of my apartment. Who needs a kitchen table anyway. I may even have enough for one more if I get rid of the fridge...

Easy, buy 2 mini fridges and use them as night stands, one on either side of the bed.

lol, yep. I can actually fit two more along that wall, I recently downsized as much as I miss having two more games, I love room to get in between to mod/fix without pulling the game out. Plus I can now see my side art. At least for now.

Game room floor after the aluminum-flake-polyaspartic coating. Sort of like epoxy but more rugged. The floor was applied prior to the walls going up, to produce a clean trimmed look.

Drooling at all that real estate. My kid's college would be in serious jeopardy if we had basements in south Texas.

    Quoted from Waldo:

Ceiling Height is very important though. You will want to bounce any Atmos height speakers vs direct fire them from the ceiling at that height.
I spend way more time in the theater then I do in the arcade. Hard not to. It’s just so awesome for movies and games (PS4/Xbox)

    Wait, WHAT?!?!?!?!

    That. Was. AMAZING! Well done!

Pick up my T-800 tomorrow. I can’t wait. My dad had to special order him from Australia for my birthday.

I just said F-it for my 40th and am blowing up the budget, got an Iron Maiden and Moto Gp on order.

    Updated game house pics soon

    you only live once.

    #11080 5 years ago
    Quoted from weaverj:

    You only live once...

...and if you save responsibly for the future you'll die shortly after retiring.
But if you buy what you like now you'll far outlive your retirement funds.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do when my Cftbl restoration is complete. I’ve got no room left.
I guess it’s a problem that I don’t mind having. In fact I feel very lucky to have it.

I got sick of wiping dust off the glass.
It’s easier to do this and take the towels off when I do sit there and admire them, and that happens quite often. I find myself turning them all on and just sitting and admiring the light show with a big smile.

I keep mine covered completely with sheets a lot of the time because part of my arcade is also used as a shop and there's a lot of sawdust and stuff.
