Mrawesome44 - I understand your justification. I'm 19, almost 20, and I'm doing the same thing. I want my pin collection before a house. My mom is letting me take control of the garage, as long as she gets to put storage containers underneath the games.

I look at it like a savings fun(d.) If I ever need the cash, I can turn the games around, and my mom gets that.

    Quoted from RonSS:

Don't worry about the window (if that's what you meant), that shade is always closed. Just airing out the sweet smell of toxic stain and "tung oil".

No. I was saying my dart skills are that bad. The only thing safe would be the dart board.

    #10753 5 years ago
    Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

    Houdini in the house!!

Cool, were you into Houdini before the game came out? Or did you decorate in preparation for the game? Must have been thrilled when it was announced if it's the former.

No. I was saying my dart skills are that bad. The only thing safe would be the dart board.

Oh, my bad. Er, or rather, wow, you're bad!

You didn't say that correctly; it's "ooonnnnee huunnnndddrreeedddd aaaannnnn eeeiiiiiggghhhtttttyyyyyy!!!"

    #10757 5 years ago

my 6 year old daughter does a mean european dart announcer, too.

Both, actually - we had a lot of the Ouija board stuff and one of the posters; I got several more before the game arrived

Did some rearranging today and new rubbers on my Facebook marketplace Mousin' Around steal from two weeks ago. New pictures required (I always get questions about the table, so table close up included)!

My basement is almost done. Here is the first part of the basement. It has a cocktail multicade, pool, darts, Tron Arcade Upright, a few TV’s, and the bar along with my what I’ve flown plane collection.

WOW!!! That's one hell of a place you have. I'm honored that my mods have a place in your beautiful gameroom. I'd kill to have a movie theater like that, those panels on the ceiling make it look like your looking out windows of a star ship.

    #10767 5 years ago

Wow, Tron as the secret door is genius! Bravo!

damn that's very impressive, the only thing missing are my shooter housing light up.

You can’t put your SW beside the TWD?

    #10778 5 years ago

Yes I can (with a third place) but in the other side i have my desk, so, for the moment it is ok (if i buy a third pinball, I will change of course)

    #10779 5 years ago
    Quoted from PACMAN:

    VERY NICE!!!
    But does your ALIEN work?

I’ve actually never had a single problem with my Alien. It arrived same day as Dialed In and had way more small issues with Dialed In.

Thanks for all the kind words. I started calling it my “Field of Dreams” arcade cause it quite literally broke the bank and makes zero sense to do to your basement. But you only live once. Now excuse me but I have to get to work to pay it off (but really don’t want to leave ).

Thanks to MustangPaul for getting me those pincup and leg lights. They really make the room pop.

    #10780 5 years ago
    Quoted from imagamejunky:

    Waldo!
Damn that’s impressive. And I love all of the cool lighting. Great job

Thanks, the lighting is Hue and LED blacklights controlled through Crestron. Still have some final controlling to work on there. Wish my iPhone camera could really capture it. The guy who did the plans is having it professionally photographed to add to his portfolio. I’ll share those when I get them.

We are having our housewarming party soon - JJ is a buddy of mine and asked if he could bring Gary Stern as his date. But if any pinsiders end up around Denver feel free to stop by and check the place out. Bring at least one quarter. It will help you get in the room

Yep I’m the same age and also just retired from the Air Force. Thank your nephew for his service. We are finally showing our friends and family the basement during our combined Housewarming / AIr Force retirement party....

    #10782 5 years ago
    Quoted from Waldo:

    So true.

No kidding, that's soooo cool. He was a Major and they wanted to promote him and put him behind a desk which would mean no more flying so he said no way and retired. And thank you for your service, it takes a very special and dedicated person to strap on one of those flying machines. My nephew flies for United. Thanks for the bump, much appreciated.

    #10784 5 years ago
    Quoted from Blitzburgh99:

Mine is 10x20. Here’s a couple of pics of how I’ve found most efficient use of space for the stuff I have. Note: I switched the bubble hockey and arcades when I got my fourth pinball to change it up a little.

Love those little mini arcade games. Who produced them?

    #10785 5 years ago
    Quoted from alexanr1:

Love those little mini arcade games. Who produced them?

Namco released them as combo anniversary games a few years back. The current model in production is the PacMan’s Arcade Party with 13 games on it.

I would like to kick you right in the nuts!!! LOL JK. Very nice game room and theater I could only dream of this. Well done Sir!!!!
And you live in CO how awesome. Me and wife visit there twice a year during ski season most of the time we are around the frisco/Silverthorne area. We love the Rockies!!!!

    #10788 5 years ago

Ha, that Tron slides back with the door too? That is awesome

This was my first pin, as well! Thought I'd "get just one, in case we want to change it up from playing these arcade games". 12 years and 22 games later....

    Topper heaven

Looks great! What's the dimensions? Looks like 14' × 50' with the bar? Stand alone building, new build or addition?
