A ten dollar roll of quarters for my 12th birthday started all this, thanks Mom.

    Nice!

Great room! I used to collect those stickers too. Haven't seen them in 30+ years. Awesome that you kept them.

    #10553 5 years ago
    Quoted from MustangPaul:

So you would have to walk out of the room to get from 2 rows to the other 2 rows. Sounds like a good place to put a bar and a lounge area.

Lol, I keep telling my wife she is driving me to drink. We don't drink, but a lounge of some sort might work.

I started my collection with these to contrast and compliment each other - future modern vs. art deco, plastic ramps vs. metal, upper left flipper vs upper right. All fun!

Where can I find that shadow translite??

    message Aurich

He mentioned something a few weeks ago about taking a waitlist of people who want the alternate translite for the Shadow. He said once he got 10+ guys he would message those who reached out to him and make another batch.

I'm converting a small 8.5'x21' storage room in my basement into another game room. Trying to figure out how many games I can cram in there.

Cleaned up my gameroom for some guests, so I decided to take some pictures before it got messy again. There are more in my profile if interested.

Probably 13-14 depending where and how gig the door is. If you can change the door from a swing to a pocket door.

    Edit, scratch this guess.

There is no door, just an opening. It's all concrete block. I have a feeling it's going to be loud af in there.

I would say 10 not giving you to much room side by side.

I agree. From my wall to end of shooter rod is 5', that's with games pushed up against molding. That gives you 3 1/2' of butt room. Heads are about 30" so 21'X12" = 252" / 30"= 8.4 games this will give you some space between the heads.

So measure your heads and do the math give your self a little space between heads.

Problem with 3.5 feet of butt room is fine for playing, however you won't be able to remove a playfield glass from the machine. You need at least 10' of pin length and space to remove glass.

New guess, 3 with some nice seperation room on the sides on each end of the 21ft length so 6 total with space in the middle for a pub table and stools.

    #10585 5 years ago

Now that's what I call head room for toppers.

Have some blacklight carpet that should look pretty cool.
I'm thinking two pins on either end of the room. Maybe one or two pins/arcade in the middle.

Here's a tip for you, attach a 20 inch florescent bl fixture to the underside of each game, you pins will look they are float on the lit up carpet. I did that on all my games.

I see that you have moved that trophy case 2 inches to the right...now when are you going to replace the batterys in that clock?

Clock is going to disappear. I put led ocd in PM and new translite in GOT.
