Still very much a work in progress. Still need carpet, drapes, more art, and some leg light ups.
Quoted from tmntrule999:My pinball collection is quite small, but here is my room of fun anyway!!!! I love the Metallica machine, but it will be replaced with Monster Bash as soon as remake is released.
When it’s time to sell that Metallica let me know. That’s a pin on my “will own someday” list.
Quoted from Buzz:Still very much a work in progress. Still need carpet, drapes, more art, and some leg light ups.

Your rooms are just BEGGING for some wild black light carpet.
Exactly some black light carpet, some purple velvet curtains, more art and neon for open wall space, and your leg light ups, will totally tie things together

Use 3/8 inch Memory foam for carpet padding and put a 20 inch bl florescent bl fixture on the underside of each game, you pins will look like they are floating on the carpet.

Will do!!!!
Quoted from swillie:At the expense of wasting a bit of space I think a batpole to get down from 2nd floor would be pretty awesome...
I’ve thought of this many times... it will take up the space of 2 pins on the 1st floor, and 2 or more arcade machines on the 2nd floor. Plus insurance liability. It’s a cruel cruel world
Having a pole and big hole in the floor seems like a real bad idea in a dimly lit arcade room imo. Add in drinking as you usually do in such an environment and that would be bad things waiting to happen.

Funny. I've insured multiple homes in several states with different insurance agents and not once have they asked me if I had a batpole.
Just sayin'

Really not a hazard at all... the batpole would have to be behind a bookcase or fireplace on the second floor... only revealed after activating the secret switch in the Shakespeare bust. Problem solved.
Of course, this takes up the space of more pins and arcade games. Oh well, it is indeed a cruel cruel world.
Quoted from Chosen_S:I stopped collecting pinball machines, and started collecting ladders
Edit ... ladder gameroom, this exciting game of climbing ladders, so much fun
Get a few chutes and you might just have something.
Quoted from Pugsley:Get a few chutes and you might just have something.
The kids swing set with a slide is just outside, I might be relocating the slide this weekend
Back in the day I used to go to a disco that was in the basement and they had a slide next to the stairs to get down there. Man that was fun watching all the girls with nice dresses take the slide.

Looks awesome!
Buzz what’s the light machine that you are using?
Neil
Chauvet mini junta irc and micro galaxian 2 laser. Dj lighting I got at guitar center. I would love to get a rack and mount on the wall by the ceiling and get another two for an even fuller effect. Even an old oil wheel would be cool. Thank you for the compliment. I'm trying to create a total sensory escape on a budget. Going for a pinball rock concert acid trip thing.
Wayyyy too much eye candy in here!!
Has anyone else noticed a problem with modern blacklights? I bought some LED UV wash lights for my game room but they don't have the deep tone of the old fluorescent tubes. Stuff still glows but it does look quite as good

Can you post a picture of the actual light?
Here's some pictures of my modest Gameroom. I know.....only one pinball machine, but the other ones keep falling in my lap. Latest pickup was Asteroids Deluxe for $50 last week.
Just need to finish the rest of the basement and find a place for the rest of the families clutter. Its in the way.
Then it is another pinball, a shuffleboard table, and a shuffle puck bowler. Oh, , and a winning lottery ticket of course.
I do have to say that that this is my favorite thread right now. Thanks for sharing all of your rooms!

Quoted from Buzz:I love the dart board and the variety you have.
Thank you! For me its all what you run into at a great price. The 8' air hockey was free, the dart board was $100, rod hockey was on clearance for $40, poker machine was $20 with 8 extra boards and a free extra LCD screen, skill stop was $99, and the plachinko was $30.
Only thing I paid a decent amount was my pinball machine.

The important part is that you have fun. Game rooms will always evolve.
Quoted from TimBoch:Game rooms will always evolve.
Quoted from AlexSMendes:... and eventually you'll get rid of all the stuff non-pin related, to make room for more pins.
EXCEPT for the pool table.... I moved mine out to the garage/shop/gameroom II.
Quoted from luckycreature:love your marvel figures? Sideshow? Or Hot Toys?
Those are definitely Hot Toys. I’m glad that I collect Star Wars Hot Toys figures and not Marvel, because Infinity War would break me.
Quoted from MustangPaul:EXCEPT for the pool table.... I moved mine out to the garage/shop/gameroom II.
.... and I rest my case!
Quoted from nightsearcher:Where does the hotrod go for the winter Paul
It's been in the body shop for a few years now with major work being done so it has never been in it's new home. Hoping to get it back early summer and it's still gonna take me some time to clean it up and do some work on it.
Quoted from Chosen_S:I like my gameroom nice and tight.
And force you to be butt buddies? Nah, I don't like games to be that close together.
Quoted from littlecammi:And force you to be butt buddies? Nah, I don't like games to be that close together.
I'm guessing you are a very literal person.
I have the RGB strips on the entire perimeter of my game room, below the molding. You can see it here:

That looks great with a black ceiling but the ceiling in my garage/shop/gameroom II is white and I want the light to bounce off it so I need some measurements to space the strip from the ceiling.
Quoted from AJB4:Updated pics
Where did you get your Reds neon light? I have to have one!
Quoted from MustangPaul:That looks great with a black ceiling but the ceiling in my garage/shop/gameroom II is white and I want the light to bounce off it so I need some measurements to space the strip from the ceiling.
I've got a shadowline ceiling in part of my gamesroom (with white ceiling and walls) and the leds are concealed in there. You wouldn't think it but it lights up the whole room. I agonised about how much light I was going to get from it, but in the end it didn't matter, and shadow lines are far more concealed than a cove with LEDs pointing at the ceiling.
Quoted from bbhenry2000:Where did you get your Reds neon light? I have to have one!
Neonsignsus.com
Go to google and type in Cincinnati reds neon signs
Then pick the listing for NeonSignsUs where underneath the title it says somelike Cincinnati Red primary 1972 1992 primary logo MLB
Quoted from ImNotNorm:I like the bar stool with the baseball base. Neat!!
Is it comfortable ?
Suprisingly there are pretty comfortable - at least for the duration of a pinball game....
